One hell of an exchange program

Summary:

You just want to get this year over with, but getting too close with the seven avatars of sin means a whole new set of problems.

How are you supposed to live like this?

Notes:

This first chapter, I will admit, SUCKS. It's more of a profile mixed with some story elements, though, so please forgive me! The next chapter (Or next fic, not sure how I wanna do this yet) will be better!

Also, I tried to keep it in line with their characters but yk, I'm terrible at that :p

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: The start

Chapter Text

You aren't too sure when you first noticed, but as the days passed and you grew closer with the brothers... the signs made themself too obvious.

It was fine, at first, when you only somewhat got along with Mammon and everyone else seemed to begrudgingly accept you. Now, you can hardly leave your room without one of them watching, waiting, thinking you don't know.

Admittedly, you're curious to see just how far they're willing to go. Well, you were, until they also started trying to go through your D.D.D. That's where you realised you were in way over your head, and someone like Diavolo would probably be the best help, being so powerful and such.

But there's the issue.

Seeing him in person means one or more brother follows, or is jealous you don't spend time with them. You can't text him, either, because you know for certain some (mainly one) of the brothers are somehow reading those, too, even if you've said you don't want them to.

You'll be honest. At first, you thought you'd be into this kind of thing, but it mainly just builds fear and anxiety now you're in the situation.

To fight this off, you'd spent some time figuring out what “group” each brother belongs to, in a sense.

Asmodeus, Belphie and Beelzebub are the most lenient. That possessiveness will still be there, sure, but it's mainly they're devoted to you. They're definitely not going to look through your phone unless they deem it as “necessary”, which isn't that often.

Leviathan, Satan and Mammon get jealous quick, and want to shield you from anything in the comfort of their rooms, or your room, depending which is comfiest. The trio are mostly respectful of your wishes, but they'll do what they need to if the opportunity arises.

And lastly, Lucifer. He's the Avatar of Pride, naturally the most overwhelming brother of them all. It doesn't matter the context, if he believes he's doing it for your benefit, he will go to any lengths. You'd dare say hes more loyal to you than Diavolo, at this point.

Thinking of it this way, most of it still sounds somewhat appealing, if you ignore Lucifer. Lucifer definitely gave you more of the stress, if not most, compared to his siblings.

With that sorted, and their obsession growing stronger each passing day, you wonder how you'd ever cope. Then again, how would they cope when you went home?

Another thought, more unnerving than the last, hit you like a fright train.

Will they even let me go home?!’
