Summary
After getting bitten by a spider while trying to regain control of her emotions, Blake truly thought her life couldn't get any more complicated. Between college, her struggles of acknowledging the past, everyone expecting nothing from her anymore, she still puts the mask on- she still tries.
( There’s a party. There are a lot of parties. They’re in college and it’s only routine. Blake lives biking distance away from campus and Yang’s in the dorms so they often end up seeing each other during the most random times. Weiss is friends with both of them and always ends up greeting her with Yang on her heels like a lost puppy.
It’s... endearing. Interesting. Addicting. This constant back and forth and absolutely confusing dynamic they have. Blake isn’t sure where they stand, if Yang wants to be friends, close friends, not know her at all. Beneath Blake’s calm lies a fierce, witty edge. Her sharp humor catches Yang off guard—and keeps her intrigued. Blake laughs at that; no one really knows this side of her, either, wonders why Yang is the only one who can bring it out.)
