Summary
A Throne sat at the head of the table, beautifully decorated and sturdy. The wooden structure was carved with ornate designs, swirling curves cascading around the seat back, accompanying a lavish gargoyle perched on top. Plush purple velvet cushioned along the seat and backboard. In its unique beauty it easily stood out as the focal point of the busy room. It’s no wonder Eddie had commandeered this chair from the drama department for his meetings. It was astute and kingly, and when he sat upon it, he commanded all attention.
I only hoped to exude half that power as I sat perched upon the Throne, primed for whatever fantasies Eddie planned to fulfill.
