Basically after the mutation shredder found Donatello after he got separated from splinter, and decides to raise him as a weapon, but karai insists that because he is super smart of whatever that he should be raised as shredders child, and because he loves karai he agrees, but he just sucks as a parent. Bebop and Baxter stockman meet Donnie and they try to convince him to join the ‘tech team’ but also like, what’s going on w/ the other bros and splinter?
Short form: Donnie gets adopted quite often, and splinter just wants his son back
