She isn’t sure how she expected him to look. She’s seen a million photos of him before, pictures of glory days-past, cast in stage lights and grainy with the quality of vintage cameras, and there were the photos after that, the tabloid exploitation of a hood-covered face leaving rehab for the second time. But away from the bold-font titles and the camera flashes, the man standing in front of her is shockingly both over and underwhelming at once, dressed in a faded t-shirt and jeans.
