Summary
Two years after Neteyam's death, Ao'nung has become a man. He has the tattoo and reputation to prove it- but his parents seem to think that he needs the mate to prove it, too. Faced with a series of prospective mates and plagued by memories of his past, Ao'nung must find it in him to tell his parents that it isn't that he doesn't want to take a mate....but that he cannot.
