   Summary

   Nick is exhausted.
   He’d expected last night to be the best night of sleep he’d ever had.. isn’t that what they said in all the books? While sleeping next to the love of your life everything is calm and relaxed and warm and perfect.
   It had started fine. Perfect actually because Charlie was finally allowed to sleep over at Nick’s. It was exciting and Nick had practically hauled Charlie into bed the moment he got there even though it wasn’t even remotely late yet. They watched movies and cuddled and it had been wonderful.
   It had been perfect.
   But then as it got later and the boys got sleepier… the night had really started.
