Summary
Daryl was always a loner. Even when his brother was around, he wasn't always with him. He never acted nurturing, never seemed loving towards anyone accept Carol. But that all changed the day she stumbled into his life. This is what the show would've been like if Daryl discovered an orphaned girl looking for a protector- and realized he was the redneck for the job. Jamie's damaged- hell, they all are- and he's never been the fatherly type- but looking into the kid's eyes, he knows he'll do his damndest to give this kid the life she deserves.
