Jack knocks at the door with his hand, awkwardly curling under Ethan. He knocks once, then twice, eagerly waiting for Marguerite's face to appear on the other side to allow him entrance. "Marguerite! Open up. I found one."
“Oh… oh heavens…” Marguerite steps aside, letting the man track mud and water into the house. She’ll worry about it later. “Go on and get him some fresh clothes and check ‘im for any wounds, won’tchu, Jack? I’ll have some supper ready for him when he gets up.”
