It had been four years since then. For the first two years, Wade had kept looking for him, asking around New York and pleading with anyone for any ounce of information. He had to have killed thousands of people who even hinted at knowing where Spider-Man was but could never get a straightforward answer. Not even the Avengers knew, and their search lasted only two years before they disbanded, leaving the city to new heroes and rampant anti-heroes like Deadpool.
