Work Text:
Babysitting was not how he expected to spend his day, however that was how it was going. Though it was better than how it was originally going to go. Before this he was having to listen to Tesla and Einstein bicker before immediately going back to flirting as if they were an eighty year old married couple. Which, to be quite honest, got old very quickly.
As much as he loved them, even he had to admit it got a bit annoying at times. It seemed almost as if Tesla herself was too oblivious, or too stupid, to realize her own feelings, much less acknowledge the others obvious reciprocation. Though, to be quite honest, Einstein wasn’t doing herself nor Tesla any favors. He wasn’t even sure that she herself realized her own feelings despite her willingness to tease the other.
How the person who didn’t even know his own name, much less know what a gay person was, knew almost immediately upon meeting them something was off, yet the two people involved didn’t, was beyond him. Sometimes he questioned how some of the smartest people he’d ever met could be that oblivious.
Joachim was sitting on the big car rug that the two scientists got for him awhile back. Despite them being the last people you’d want babysitting your child they actually had a pretty nice room for him to play in when he was over.
“Big brother, why do you look so sad?”
Welt sat his book down and sighed, “It’s nothing, don’t worry about it Joachim.”
The child tilted his head innocently. Welt could already tell by his expression that he wasn’t about to give up that easily. You could tell he was influenced by Tesla, Einstein, and his own eccentric dad The Finn.
“But you look so sad.. Did I do something bad?”
“Nono!!” Welt quickly panicked, seeing Joachim already on the verge of tears. “I promise, it’s nothing you did! You’re a really good kid and I enjoy your company!! I promise!!”
“Did my big sisters do something?”
Welt shook his head, “It’s nothing you need to worry about.”
Joachim just frowned. “Are they mad at you?”
“.. No, Joachim. At least not right now.”
“Are they mad at each other?”
He sighed, “No, Joachim..”
“I’ll ask big sister Tesla then, she knows everything!”
“WAIT DON’T!!!” All he could do was watch as the child formed a smug grin on his face. “Fine.. I’ll tell you, but you have to PROMISE that you won’t tell your sisters!”
There was a glint in the child's eyes, and he already knew that he was about to regret saying anything.
“I promise!!! Big sister Tesla and Einstein won’t know!”
“If I find out you told them I won’t let you have ice cream next time you come over!”
Fear came across the child's face, as he nodded. “I promise!! Please let me have ice cream!” The child ran up and attempted to get on the couch with Welt, only to fail miserably due to his height.
Welt sighed and picked up a stool by the couch before sitting it down in front of Joachim. Seconds later the child was sitting next to him and staring at him.
“.. How much do you know about your older sisters?”
“They care about each other a lot!! I think big sister Einstein said they were best friends!! They remind me of my parents!”
‘...’Best friends’.. Sure, Ein. If that’s what we’re calling it… Wonderful. Even the child knows.’
“But.. Tesla sometimes looks sad when sister Einstein isn’t looking.. She just gets more sad when I ask why.. I try to help her feel better but..”
The fact Tesla was more emotionally vulnerable around a child than him felt like an insult. Though knowing her it probably was.
Welt ruffled his hair, “Hey.. Don’t look sad, it’s nothing you did kid.. Tesla just..” He needed to choose his next words Very Carefully. Whether he wanted them to or not they were almost certain to end up to Tesla eventually.
“.. Her and Ein are.. Very close, Joachim. Though.. Uh.. How do I explain this..” He thought back to his books. Maybe he could pretend like he was explaining it to a victorian child? .. Actually that was a stupid idea. That would be using the assumption he even knew how to explain it to a victorian child.
“Well.. I’ll just say that they could be closer, but they don’t know it..”
Joachim just stared at him confused. “Like best best friends?”
“Uh.. I guess you could say that..”
That just confused him even more. “Why don’t they know? I thought they were best friends already. That’s easy to change!”
He sighed, he needed to just be honest. Hopefully the Finn wouldn’t mind.. Though he probably was already aware since both him, Tes, and Ein were close with each other.
“Well.. Uh.. Not exactly, Joachim.. You see.. Uhm..” Joachim stared at him annoyed with his hesitation. To be quite honest it felt like Tesla’s annoyed ‘just say it already’ look. He really needed to get this child away from her and Ein before he grows up to become a mini them.
“Look.. They love each other.. Like your parents do.”
“Oh! Daddy told me about that before! He said he thinks they love each other!”
‘.. Are you kidding me right now? Is this some cruel joke? Does the world hate me this much? Why can’t I catch a break? What’s next?? A blonde man starts a decades long war because he was feeling petty??? I find out I have over three-hundred thousand people living in me???’
“... Anyways.. They.. They just don’t realize it, or they don’t know how to tell each other.. It’s really, really, REALLY, sad to watch.”
‘... And annoying.’ Though, he’d never admit that. Even if it was only because he was dealing with two scientists who could easily make his death look like an accident.
“Tell them then! Won’t that make them feel better?”
‘... Does he WANT me to die??? Tesla, no Ein too, would actually kill me if I even THOUGHT about saying anything to them.’ Sighing, he shook his head.
“Nope.. I wish I could, but telling others how they feel doesn’t help. This is something personal, and if someone intervenes it could end badly.”
“.. Oh.. Is there a way to help? I don’t want my big sisters to be sad..”
“I.. I don’t know, Joachim.. I really don’t..”
The child sat there thinking to himself. After a few minutes, a light seemed to go off in his head. “I think I know how to help!!”
‘.. Oh god..’
“What’s your idea, Joachim?”
“Can’t you send them on a date? Isn’t that how everyone does it?”
‘.. Why does this child have better ideas than I do. Why didn’t I think of that??’
“.. Maybe? But.. I don’t know how I’d manage that.. I’m not allowed upstairs and I doubt they’d be happy if I told them..”
“I can go up there!! Big sister Tesla and Einstein told me I’m always welcome in their lab! They say I’m a good helper!!”
‘Yeah, I’m sure they do see you as a good helper. Probably just as destructive as they are..’
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, Joachim..”
“It’s worth a shot!!” Suddenly the child ran off before Welt could even stop him.
“WAIT! GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE BRAT!” He ran out of the room but the child had already disappeared. All he could do now was count the last few minutes of his life before he met his untimely demise.
‘Oh my god they’re going to fucking kill me… Ein please have mercy on me please-’
Suddenly the door to the lab flew open, and the two scientists jumped in surprise. “Big sister Tesla! Big sister Einstein!!”
Tesla glanced at the other, deeply confused. Einstein did the same. Both were wondering the same thing, why wasn’t Welt watching him?
“Hey, kiddo!” Tesla said with a smile and crouching down to his level, “What are you doing up here? I thought Welt was keeping you company.” Einstein soon was beside her, crouching down in an attempt to figure out if their lab assistant had gotten himself killed yet.
He ran up to them with a big smile on his face. “Big brother has something he wants to tell you guys!!”
Einstein glanced at Tesla, slightly annoyed. “Oh? Does he now? What is it?”
“Hehe, that’s a surprise!”
“.. How important is it, kiddo? We’re kinda busy right now..”
“Yeah.. We’re sorry Joachim, but we have a lot of work to do right now.. We don’t have time to play. We promise we’ll play with you later-”
“It’s very important!!! Very very very important!!! Please, please please!!”
The two scientists glanced at each other as if they were communicating telepathically.
‘I swear to fucking god, Lieserl.. If he has something stupid to tell us I will hurt him.’
‘.. I’ll allow it.’
‘What are we supposed to do?? The kid’s clearly excited.’
‘Only thing we can really do is see what they’re wanting.. Though Welt should know by now the only thing that he should interrupt us for is when a purple talking cat appears.’
‘Hmph.. Maybe that purple talking cat finally did appear.’
“Okay, Joachim.. We’ll come with you, but we can’t stay for long. Okay?”
“Thank you Einstein!!”
She slightly chuckled, “You’re welcome, Joachim.”
Suddenly the tiny child grabbed both of them and began dragging them out the door.
“W-Wait! Let us stand up first!”
“O-oh.. Sorry sister Tesla..”
“It’s okay, kiddo. We know you didn’t mean any harm.”
Tesla picked him up and the three of them walked downstairs to find Welt pacing around the living room looking terrified.
“So.. Welt Joyce.. You were needing us?”
He jumped hearing Tesla’s voice. The end was near.
“.. Well, Welt?” Einstein stood there crossing her arms, looking just as amused as her counterpart. “We’re very interested in what you have to say. Did the purple talking cat happen to appear?”
“Haha.. Uh… Well..”
Joachim suddenly jumped out of Tesla's arms, nearly knocking her backwards before running to Welt. Although she’d managed to get a foot back to balance herself, she’d forgotten to account for her lab coat. She got lucky enough that Einstein managed to catch her before she fell straight onto a lamp.
“H-HEY JOACHIM! BE CAREFUL!”
“You okay, Nikola?”
“Yeah..” She mumbled back. “Welt you better tell us why you dragged us down here or I swear-”
Joachim looked up at him with a wide grin, seemingly not noticing how mad the other two were. “Tell them, big brother!!”
“Haha.. About that..” It was at that moment he realized that Tesla was carrying a dictionary in her other hand and her grip was tightening every second that passed. “Well.. Uhm.. You two are leaving.”
They just stared at him. Who did this pathetic man think he was?
“Welt.. I hope you’re joking right now,” Einstein said, even more annoyed. Somehow she was scarier than Tesla. “This is our lab. If anything you would be the one leaving.”
“Not anymore!”
“EXCUSE YOU WELT JOYCE?? DO YOU WANT TO D-” She was cut off by him shoving them out the door before taking Teslas weapon off of her and locking the door shut.
She angrily tugged at the door. “YOU MOTHERFUCKER! YOU BETTER LET US BACK IN RIGHT THIS INSTANT!”
“N-No! Not until you two figure things out!!”
“EXCUSE YOU??? I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU, WELT!”
“H-Hey! Don’t swear in front of the child!”
“I DON’T CARE! HE’S HEARD WORSE, NOW LET US BACK IN BEFORE YOU REGRET IT!” She banged angrily on the door. For a second he thought the door would break in at any second.
“ WELT JOYCE! ” Einstein yelled, actually infuriated. Even Tesla stared at her wide eyed, terrified. She’d never broken her calm demeanor before, much less gotten mad. “You will let us in right now! We care about you, but we will not tolerate this from you! You’re our assistant, you need to act like it! You will fucking regret this if you don’t let us in this instant!”
“N-No! You two need to figure things out first!” Welt was already planning on making a run for it as soon as they both disappeared. Maybe he could move to Canada.. No, too cold, maybe he could move somewhere in America. Maybe New York?
“Lieserl! Do you have your keys on you?!”
Almost immediately she was digging in the pockets on her lab coat before desperately checking her shorts pockets.
‘Please don’t let her have her keys, please don’t let her have her keys..’
“.. No. They must still be in the lab.”
‘Thank god!’
“WHAT ARE WE EVEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WELT?? YOU COULD FUCKING EXPLAIN!”
“YOU BOTH KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT! FIGURE IT OUT!”
The two watched as the muddled figures behind the glass disappeared. “GET BACK HERE YOU MOTHERFUCKER! I’M NOT DONE WITH YOU!”
“God fucking dammit..” Einstein muttered as she leaned against the door and sat down.
“I’m going to kill that bastard, Lieserl! You better say goodbye to your pathetic pet before I kill him!”
“I’m not going to stop you, Nikola.”
Tesla leaned against the door and sat down beside her, fuming from rage. It must’ve been a sight to see for the onlookers. Seeing two dignified scientists screaming and threatening to kill someone isn’t something you’d see every day.
“STOP FUCKING LOOKING AT US UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE NEXT!” Tesla screamed at the crowd.
Suddenly they all dispersed, not wanting to fall victim to her.
Einstein’s head hung down, hand on her forehead annoyed. “All I wanted to do was finish my work.”
“Tell me about it,” Tesla angrily mumbled. “Do you think the Finn would be able to get us back in?”
“Maybe. I don’t think he’s even here right now, though. He was supposed to meet his wife at the airport today...”
“Great..”
Moments later the door beside them opened quickly enough to throw their purses out the door before slamming shut again.
“YOU MOTHERFUCKING BASTARD GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!” Tesla screamed before giving up.
Einstein looked up, “It’s not worth it, Nikola. We’ll deal with him later after the Finn gets back.” She put a hand on her shoulder, “It’s not worth ruining your day over. We’ll figure it out.”
“Fine.. But he’s fucking dead to me.. He didn’t even let us take our coats off..” She angrily mumbled. “I don’t even know what we’re supposed to be figuring out..”
“HEY DIPSHIT!” Tesla yelled suddenly. “CAN YOU AT LEAST GIVE US A HINT?!?”
Despite the fact she hadn’t expected a response, a tiny voice could be heard through the door. “Your friendship!!”
Tesla’s face went pale, and so did Einstein. She had just called Joachim a dipshit. “Oh my god Joachim I’m so sorry. That wasn’t meant for you, please forgive me I’ll get you ice cream later!”
“It’s okay! I’ll pass the word on!”
“WAIT JOACHIM NO-” Suddenly an idea came to her. “WAIT! Joachim can you be a dear and open the door for us? Me and your sister will get you pizza and ice cream tomorrow!”
“No! I want you to stop being sad over big sister!”
“.. What.”
Tesla’s face went bright red and she just went silent. Einstein looked at her, confused.
“Haha.. Kids am I right? Joachim! I’m not sad over your big sister!!”
“Yes you are!! Big brother Welt told me that you always-” Suddenly Welt was dragging the child away before he could finish his sentence.
“WELT YOU MOTHERFUCKER! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE WITH THAT CHILD!”
Einstein just sighed and shook her head. “Want to go get ice cream and figure out what to do from there?”
“Ugh.. You know what sure.. Maybe it’ll make the wait less miserable,” she mumbled, trying to not let her anger get the best of her again.
Einstein stood up and picked her purse up with Tesla soon following. As they walked they both tried to figure out what exactly Welt was talking about.
“Do you have any ideas that that dumbfuck was talking about, Lieserl?”
“... I have zero clue, Nikola..”
“Ugh..”
A few minutes later they arrived at the ice cream place and sat down while they waited. The room was decently sized, and they were sat in a corner in an attempt at some privacy. While whatever they were figuring out most likely wasn’t anything dangerous, what they did know was that there was a high chance of it being something they wouldn’t want others hearing.
Einstein had pulled out the small notebook in her purse and was jotting something down in it.
Tesla looked over at it curiously. “.. What are you doing.”
“Trying to figure out what that idiot is trying to do,” she replied. “I’ve written down everything he and Joachim said. It makes no sense.” She said agitated. “Only common theme is us. Did you tell them we were arguing or something?”
“What the hell?? No? Why would I do that?! Why would I tell a child that?! We haven’t even been arguing! We haven’t ever since we met! I don’t even tell Welt anything!”
“That’s what I thought, however if Welt can suddenly gain the courage to lock us out of our own home then anything is possible.”
After a few minutes the waiter came out with their ice cream, “Good afternoon, doctors! I see you two are working today?”
“.. Well.. We were supposed to be,” Tesla grumbled. “ Someone locked us out of our home..”
Einstein sighed. “It’s a long story, but yes we were working beforehand.”
“Oh.. I see.. I hope you two are able to get back in soon. It must be miserable not being able to get inside.”
“Tell me about it,” they both mumbled to themselves.
Tesla just started angrily drinking her milkshake. Thousands of ways to get her revenge were going through her head, and she’d begun to settle on a few.
Einstein hesitantly drank hers. Something was bothering her. While the pattern was clear at this point, she still didn’t understand specific parts. Especially Joachim saying Tesla had been upset over her. Had she accidentally done something wrong..?
After a few minutes she finally asked. “By the way, what did Joachim mean by you being sad over me..? Did I do something wrong..?”
“Wh- What?? N-No Lieserl!! I don’t know where he got that from!”
“.. You know you can be honest with me, right?”
“Are you trying to say I’m lying to you??”
“... No but Joachim doesn’t tend to lie for fun and Welt isn’t smart enough to come up with that lie.”
Tesla just continued drinking her milkshake, ignoring her. The other just sighed and took a sip of hers.
Fear filled Tesla’s thoughts. She hadn’t realized just how much Joachim was able to remember, and it hurt her a little. Especially now that he was calling her out on it. She had felt sad, but she didn’t even understand why. Jealousy? For what?
“Want a sip?” Einstein questioned, throwing her out of her thoughts.
“Huh? Oh. I would but I have lipstick on already.”
“Eh. Whatever, I don’t mind. Not like getting a little lipstick on a straw is the worst thing that’s happened today.” She sounded annoyed, though that annoyance was directed towards a certain lab assistant. “Besides, the amount of times you’ve stolen my drinks I’ve probably ingested a tube's worth of it at this point.”
“.. Good point..”
Einstein sighed. Her stress was written over her face along with confusion. “I don’t understand any of this. I have a vague idea, though I don’t understand it enough.”
“.. What are you thinking, Lieserl?”
She shook her head, “It’s nothing. I’ll tell you later if we can’t figure this out.”
‘Figure things out,’ what did he mean by that? That could mean many things. Such as who’s robots were cuter, or who got to eat the last slice of cake.
“That bean sprout is on my last nerve,” Tesla mumbled and leaned against Ein. “You’re lucky that you care about him because otherwise I’d kill him.”
Einstein rolled her eyes, “You know you like him. Somewhat.”
“You’re delusional!”
“Clearly not as delusional as him.”
She turned her attention back to her notebook before jotting down a few more notes. “Do you know if we’ve had any disagreements lately?”
“.. No??”
Sighing, she closed her notebook. “Want to go to the park for a while? Maybe we’ll figure it out.”
“Sure..”
Once Einstein finished her own drink the two left and walked past their lab to make sure the door was still locked. Einstein pulled on it and to the surprise of no one it was still locked.
“Hey, Joachim?” Einstein called out.
After a minute or two of silence the two were about to give up before a tiny voice could be heard. “Yes?”
“Can you please give us a hint, Joachim?”
“Mm.. No. Welt says it’s bad to get involved with personal issues.”
“Huh?”
“Welt says that you two are closer than you realize and that it’s bad to tell you two.”
“... Thank you, Joachim. We appreciate it.”
“You’re welcome, big sister!!”
The two annoyed scientists just stared at each other, unamused.
“.. That kid has spent too much time with Welt. He’s becoming just as dumb as he is.”
“You’re not wrong..” Einstein said, sighing. “Come on, let's get going.”
Einstein thought to herself for a majority of the walk. What that child was talking about was beyond her. Closer than they thought? What could that even mean? Though.. Thinking about it Welt had been acting strangely around the two. Besides, he’d seemed slightly more annoyed at their antics the past few days.
“Hey, Lieserl, are you okay?” Tesla questioned, noticing how silent she’d gone.
“Hm? Yeah, I am. I promise.. Though can we talk about something once we get there?”
“Huh? Yeah sure, what’s up?”
“Nothing, I just think I might’ve figured it out.”
“Well?! Tell me now so we can go back to work!”
“Eh.. Even if we did, do you really think Welt will let us back in? He knows better than that. He’s not completely stupid. He knows we’re pissed.”
“.. Good point,” she sighed. “I guess at least we get to talk for a while. We’ve been working for days straight without a break.”
“Yeah..”
Although she wasn’t exactly sure, the more she thought about it the more she realized maybe there had been something. It hadn’t occurred to her before since it was just a normal part of their lives, and to be quite honest she forgot it was possible herself, but maybe she’d figured it out.
The two sat down by a tree a little ways off the path. It was secluded so they wouldn’t have to really worry about anyone showing up, which was a plus for them.
Tesla yawned, pulling her coat off. “Wish that prick let us take these off beforehand. I hate walking around with this on.”
“Honestly.. I would be significantly less mad if he at least took our coats.”
“What were you wanting to talk about, by the way?” Tesla questioned.
“.. Can you be honest with me?”
“Huh? Whatever it is, I didn't do it!”
Einstein rolled her eyes and smiled, “I wasn’t accusing you of doing anything, idiot.”
“.. What are you talking about then?”
“Why did Joachim think you were sad over me? I just want to know the truth.. I think that might be what we’re missing.”
“.. Lieserl-”
“I know you’ll say it didn’t happen, but Joachim doesn’t lie about you. He loves us too much to lie about either one of us.”
“.. I don’t know.”
“.. Huh?”
“I don’t know why.. I just.. I don’t want to be apart.. I care about you a lot, ya know.. Even if you’re insufferable at points..”
“.. Eh?”
She became embarrassed, not knowing what to say. “I.. Whenever we’re apart I feel lonely, that’s why Joachim says I look sad.. I don’t know why. I just feel empty without you around..”
“.. Really?”
“.. I shouldn’t have said anything. I’m sorry, I probably sound like a creep..”
“.. I didn’t mean it like that.. I just didn’t realize that’s how you felt..”
“.. It’s selfish and I didn’t want you feeling bad over it..”
They sat there in silence for a few minutes. After a while of thinking, Einstein finally decided to speak.
“Nikola..”
“.. What..”
They both turned to look at each other.
“.. Do you love me?”
“.. Huh? Of course!? You’re my best friend!”
“.. That’s not what I meant.”
“What..? What else.. O-oh..”
“.. If you don’t you can just say that, you know.”
“.. W-Wait.. Is..” Tesla stammered, the sudden realization hitting her. “A-Are you asking..”
Einstein stayed silent, not really knowing what to say. Part of her couldn’t tell if the other even understood what she was asking. Though she couldn’t blame her. Even she hadn’t realized until Joachim said something.
“Li-Lieserl I..”
She looked away, not wanting her to see the tears forming in her eyes. “.. It’s time we finally talk about this.. L-Look.. Nikola.. I love you more than anything.. I have for a while.. Your smile when you’re excited, the way your eyes almost sparkles, even your anger.. I love you.”
To her surprise Tesla lunged at her, trapping her in a tight hug as she started sobbing into her coat.
“H-Hey don’t cry-”
“I love you too, you dumbass… Even if you can be annoying, I love you more than anything..”
Einstein started crying hearing that and hugged her tighter. They sat there for what felt like forever to them, trying to calm down from the sudden surge of emotions.
“M-Mophead.. Please never leave me..”
“I-I won’t, as long as you promise to do the same..”
Tesla looked up at her before impulsively kissing the other cheek, completely forgetting that it’d show. Once the realization hit her face went bright red and she desperately tried to wipe it off to no avail.
“.. You’re such a dumbass, this is why I love you.”
“L-Look!! I!!!”
She just smiled at her affectionately, tears still in her eyes. Patting her head, she wiped tears away from Tesla’s face. “You know, you look cute when you’re embarrassed.”
“SHUT UP!” Tesla screeched before desperately trying to hide her face into Einstein's arm.
“Great and amazing Dr. Nikola Tesla being vulnerable isn’t something I assumed I’d see today.”
“I hate you.. Is it too late to take it back..”
“Yes, actually.”
“Hmph..”
They sat there for several hours trying to process everything. Eventually Tesla had managed to fall asleep on her lap from exhaustion, and the other gently ran her fingers through her hair while thinking to herself. As it slowly got darker Einstein checked her watch before shaking Tesla awake.
“Hey, Nikola. We better go back, the Finn should be back by now.”
“.. Lieserl.. What does this mean for us..”
“.. What do you mean?”
“A-Are we together now or..”
“.. Yes, dummy.” She tapped her nose teasingly while the other short circuited mentally.
“.. Mophead do we need to figure out how to get that mark off of you..”
“Eh.. It’ll be fine. It’s better than grease and oil.”
The two of them stood up. Tesla hesitantly reached for Einstein’s hand, and she smiled and gave it to her. As they walked back street lights began turning on. Soon they reached the lab and decided to make a last ditch effort of getting in on their own.
Tesla yanked on the door with her free hand, and to the surprise of both of them it was unlocked.
“HEY WELT! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!”
‘.. Oh god oh no.’
Welt awkwardly walked out into the hall, only to be followed by Joachim and his dad. “H-Heyy guys..”
“DON’T HEY GUYS US! YOU BASTARD!”
“.. Hey! I see you two figured it out..! Haha..”
“.. Welt you’re not getting out of this just because we’re happy to be dating now.”
“.. You two haven’t been dating?” The Finn questioned.
“I?? YOU??”
“Yay!! Big sisters won’t be sad anymore!” Joachim said smiling.
“I.. Ugh..” Tesla pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed, “We’ll talk about this later when the kids not around..”
“Well.. I’m happy for you both!”
“Thank you, the Finn,” Einstein said plainly.
“Though, you do have something on your face.”
“I’m well aware.”
“Haha, well I better get going! My wifes waiting for us!”
“Mommy's home?!”
“Yes, Joachim, mommy’s home.”
Suddenly Joachim was dragging his dad out the door, smiling like crazy. “Let’s go let’s go!!”
As the door shut Welt was left alone and defenseless.
“AS FOR YOU! DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?!?”
“Welt we’re not particularly happy with you right now.”
“L-Look I’m sorry!! The kid made me do it!!”
“.. You’re the most pathetic man I’ve ever met Welt Joyce!”
Einstein shook her head, “Look, we’ll talk about this in the morning. I don’t feel like ruining my good mood over your stupidity.”
“Haha.. Okay Ein!”
“I’m laying down,” Tesla mumbled, annoyed.
“I probably will too after I check the lab..”
Welt sighed a sigh of relief, just glad he lived to see another day. “G-Goodnight you two.”
“Don’t be so relieved, Welt! You better believe tomorrow you’ll be regretting a few decisions!”
