Summary
Everything changed for Hatake Kakashi on the day of her official investiture as Rokudaime Hokage, and probably not for the reason you would think. You see, in that moment, she’d come to two, life-altering realizations.
The first, was that somewhere between making Genin, the Chuunin exams, travelling with Jiraiya, fighting and winning an entire war and essentially kicking the ass of a literal God, Naruto had somehow ceased to be that obnoxious, enthusiastic brat she’d been so fond of, and he’d grown up.
Secondly, and far worse, Kakashi realized that Naruto was, in fact, a very attractive man. Also, she was actually embarrassingly in love with him.
