this is a male reader x alatus fic, during the archon war! lowercase is intended, but i do use ?? proper grammar, hopefully, english isn't my first language. characters in this fic use their demonic name, rather than the game ones (ex; zhongli -> morax, raiden -> baal, venti -> barbatos, etc) and uses the original adepti and yakashas, I'm not fully knowledgeable about the archon war, so some of this could be inaccurate, but it's a fanfic... so?
a soft sigh escapes
from his lips as he
holds him tightly.
"i don't want to kill you."

a pitiful look appears
on the lover's face as
he gazes up into the
false stars.

"neglect them for me, alatus."
a hum leaves his
lips as he ponders
his next choice of
words, of actions.
"i can't betray my archon."
"it's not betrayal. disobedience, maybe."
the lover looks into
the other's eyes.
"this is a war. and we're on opposing-"
