Summary
Atsumu falls in love with Hinata Shouyou during the Inarizaki v Karasuno game and waits patiently for their paths to cross until Hinata joins MSBY.
And he thinks to himself, in these brief moments, that one day he’ll stand on the same side of the net as Shouyou, and his love of the game and Shouyou will merge, and he knows that when that happens, he’ll be the happier twin.
Apparently, being realistic has no place on his and Shouyou’s path. Not when Atsumu’s spent his life loving Shouyou from afar, keeping himself going on tough days with reminders that they’d find their way to each other eventually. Not when Shouyou looked at a sport designed for height and told it to hold his damn beer.
