Work Text:
“Bro, did you have to light that guy up so close to me?” Natsuo grumbles, patting himself down. “I feel like some of him is permanently up my nose.”
Touya just sighs next to him, as he holds the room key against the automated door handle. Unlocking the door they walk in exhausted and foul smelling. “I told you to keep some distance, you just wanted to mock the guy.”
They'd been running around Fukuoka all day, Enji and Chisaki had finally finished negotiations and formed an alliance. A part of their deal, or a part of Enji’s trial was to demean his kids to grunt work. An easy task, just meant to be demeaning for his family being seen doing such things. Enji would rather take the strike to his ego than risk Kai aligning himself with Takami.
“Guy was a perv, can still feel his eyes undressing me.” Natsuo shuddered, sniffing rubbing under his nose trying to get any remanence of the man out.
“Now he’ll forever be up your nose.” Touya chuckled, receiving a shove from the taller one, dropping his duffle bag plopping himself on the bed.
“Gross bro- at least take a shower first! There's only one bed!” The closest hotels with double beds were all booked, last minute plans led them to a motel in Fukuoka.
Natsuo disappeared into the bathroom leaving his brother in the room. Touya immediately pulled his phone out to text a certain resident in the area.
T: what are you doing right now?
K: texting you at your beck and call
T: what are you wearing?
K: okay we’re doing this
K: nothing ;)
T: where are you?
K: in bed in my room
T: in fukuoka?
K: i do live there
T: funny so am i
There was a pause in their back and forth for a few seconds, as three dots loaded.
K: what are you doing right now
K: are you alone
K: where are you
Touya smiles to himself, dropping a pin on his location and sending it.
T: room 203
T: second floor
He gets a read notification pop up and doesn’t receive anymore texts, smiling to himself he closes his eyes. He hadn’t seen him in so long, neither could find the right time or moment to sneak away. They lived too far apart, Enji always keeping him and his siblings busy. It’s the reason he’s sprawled on the king size bed, tired; eyes closed listening in to the sounds around him.
Hearing the room's shower spitting out water, the woman on the tv talking about the recent crimes in the city, hearing footsteps outside the room followed by a knock. He gets up unlocking the door, feeling hands push him back, shutting the door quickly.
Being pushed back onto the room's sofa, feeling arms tightly wrap around him, with a certain blonde's head immediately rubbing himself against Touya’s neck inhaling leaving kisses and nips.
“I should come to Fukuoka more often.” Touya breathes out, running his hand through the blonde's messy hair, shifting himself to be more comfortable with the other over him.
“Should’ve told me ya were here earlier.” The blonde looks up, wrapping his arms around Touya’s torso.
“Had a few jobs to do.”
“Here?” Keigo inquires looking at him suspiciously.
“Yeah, here. So you better watch out.”
“You needa watch out, ya know ya guys aren’t really welcomed here.” Keigo sits himself up, remaining over the other. “Still should’ve told me you were here, could’ve kept ya safe.”
Touya huffs, bringing his legs up to wrap around the other, playfully swaying them. “I can handle myself, if you haven’t noticed I smell like dead bodies and ash.”
“I have, that’s why I should’ve gone with ya.” Keigo rolls over to Touya’s side, squeezing himself tightly between the sofa and the other. Throwing his arm around to hold the other’s hand, legs intertwined.
“No. Someone would have recognized you and gotten you in trouble, you know we can’t exactly be going around in public together anyway.” Touya’s voice whispered the last part, knowing he was doing them a favor by keeping the fact that he was in Keigo’s hometown until now. Keigo reluctantly agrees, shutting his eyes, laying his head on the other's shoulder. “Besides, it's not like I was alone.”
“I noticed that too.” The avian comments as the audible shower comes to a stop, hearing footsteps out of it.
“Yet you risk your life coming here, very romantic.” Touya jokes, playing with the red feathers around them.
“I'ma very dedicated man.” Keigo replies smirking, rubbing his thumb over the tough skin on Touya’s knuckles.
“Oh you have to be” Touya can’t help but want to laugh to himself. “Willing to show your face to Natsuo.”
“Natsuo?” Keigo’s feathers become stiff, as he looks anxiously at his partner.
“Fuck- really Touya? We’re here for one night and you called him over?” Natsuo says, annoyed tossing his bag next to the bed, staring daggers at the two squished onto the pull out sofa.
“It’s because we're only here one night, I did. Haven't seen him in months, Natsu.”
“Nope, the Natsu card only works in situations where we are not face to face with a Takami.” The taller man turns his attention from his brother to Touya’s boyfriend?
Partner?
Gross.
Natsuo hated thinking about whatever relationship his brother had with him. He could have picked anyone else in Japan, anyone else in the word! But it had to be Hawks?
The gods cursed them.
“You need to leave.” Natsuo directs, pointing to the door standing his ground.
“Look Natu-.” Keigo attempts, sitting up, hands up in defense.
“You don't get to call me that Hawks.”
“O-kay you're right, I apologize.” He expresses holding his hands over his heart. “My future brother in law.” He hears Touya groan and sees Natsuo’s ears turn red.
“Touya, I am going to put his feathers on ice!”
“Natsuo, relax. Kei-.”
“I’m kidding! He’s just so serious, look he’s as red as your dad.” That comment earns him a kick to his side from Touya, who sits himself up next to the blonde.
“He didn't mean that, it’s just for tonight. I should've asked that’s on me, but I haven't seen him for months and it’ll probably be months until you have to see his face again. Can he just stay for tonight? You can take the bed.” Touya asks, bringing his knees up, resting his chin on them as Keigo puts his hands together in a begging mannerism.
“Sorry, I shouldn't have compared you to- y’know and didn't mean any offense.”
Natsuo can only look at the two with his arms crossed, with a now growing migraine. He hated Hawks but loved his brother, and Touya had never been in serious relationships. Natsuo only became aware of the two’s relationship 2 years ago, hearing it from Fuyumi. Reasonable to say he was livid, the two had been sneaking around for so long. She told him that they had met long before they knew who each other really was, it didn't change the fact that Natsuo had his suspicions about the blonde.
Hawks.
Takami.
Apart of his fathers rivalry with his father, a murderer, thief, gang member. He doesn't expect anything better to come out of his son, after the hours-long worth of redirect that Enji spewed. All the names he would call them, how they were worse and lower than them.
Natsuo also hates their father though. Just like Touya, who’s become the most rebellious in the family. He’s not sure if this is some part of phase, a very long one that worries him. But regardless if it is, in the end he trusts his brother the most and he can handle himself.
“Fine.” He turns his head looking away as Hawks immediately wraps a wing around his brother, giving him a kiss. Both of them thank Natsuo as he rolls onto the bed in defeat. “You both need a shower though, you guys stink- and no sex! At all- I don't care if I'm asleep, no blowies, handies or anything else you guys made up. Not with me in the room!”
“Yes sir.” Touya complies giving his brother a salute.
“I don't even smell that bad.” Keigo states, grabbing his jacket getting in a hard whiff before scrunching his nose.
“Let’s go then.” Touya grabs Keigo’s hand along with his own duffle bag full of clothes. Leading them to the bathroom.
“You guys are so gross!” Is the last thing they hear before the door shuts completely.
“We really should take a shower y’know.” Keigo comments, taking his jacket and shirt off.
“We are.” Touya says like it’s the most obvious thing in the world. As he’s actively turning on the water checking the temperature.
“Oh.” Keigo says, embarrassed while Touya laughs at him.
They did take a shower washing each other’s hair and body, along with making out and leaving bites in places that couldn’t be seen. Until the water would turn cold but with Touya constantly raising his body temperature and warming them up, it was hard to keep track of how long they were in there. At least 7 marks worth on Keigo and 15 on Touya, who grumbles to himself annoyed as he actually sees himself in the mirror.
“You’re so weird with marking me. It might be an actual problem, you should see a doctor or something.”
“It’s not a problem! It's aparta my quirk.” Keigo smiles smugly, nipping at the other’s ear along his piercings. Earning his a shove as Touya attempted to actually put his clothes on unlike Keigo who’s watching him basking in his work. “It’s why I like ya with the piercings all over, makes ya cute and shiny.”
Touya reaches into his bag and tosses articles of clothing to Keigo who catches them, Touya’s clothes were slightly bigger on him. It warmed Keigo’s chest, getting to wear the other’s clothes, with his scent on them and in front of his brother. Made the relationship feel real, like they were taking big steps in their relationship.
“Why are you smiling?” Touya asks looking at the other through the reflections in the mirror as he’s brushing his teeth.
“I’m excited!” Keigo claims, slipping on Touya’s black long sleeve and shorts.
“Hmm?”
“It’s like a sleepover, y’know I’ve never gone. Unless it was sneaking around but-! We’re with Natsuo and we can watch scary movies and stuff. Earn his trust along the way.”
Touya chokes and spits out into the sink, laughing to himself. “Natsuo is dead asleep already, I’ve never heard him watch the news and for this long? Probably forced himself so he wouldn’t have to hear anything.”
Keigo didn’t believe it until he saw it, Natsuo passed out with the news still on. This time showing a woman reporting on recent murders connected to a certain arsonist, leaving no evidence behind for police to work with.
“Wow, watching ya get away with murder is kind of hot.” He turns off the TV.
“Shut up, and help me with the pull out.”
Touya hadn’t realized how drained he was until after they prepped the pull out sofa with blankets and pillows, flopping himself face down on the bed. Feeling a weight next to him put a blanket over him, which he rejected. “Don’t need it.”
“It’s cold in here.”
“Natsuo and I like it cold, you use it. Hollow bones.” He urged, giving the blanket to the avian scooting himself closer. Keigo’s benefit of his quirk is that he got cold easily, very cold. Which made Touya his personal heater as he usually ran warm.
“M’kay.” Keigo gave up wrapping himself up along with the lower half of Touya just in case. The blanket wasn’t very thick, but wrapping his arm and legs around the other more than made up for it. “Tired already?”
“We’ve been busy.”
“I know, sorry.”
“Don’t be.”
“Hmm.” Touya could hear the hint of sadness in the blondes voice, the gaps of time of them not seeing each other seemed to be getting longer and longer. Harder to sneak around each other's dads, Touya’s siblings, and the jobs being out on them. “Where do you want to go?”
“What?” Keigo whispered, in attempt to not wake Natsuo up who snores quietly.
“If we go somewhere alone together, where do you want to go?”
“Anywhere is fine-.”
“-but where do you want to go?” Touya leaned his head into the other, feeling the other rub circles on him as he thought.
“Somewhere warm.”
“The beach?”
“Maybe. Do you like the beach?”
“Hell no, but what else?”
“-ha. I wanna see animals, real ones likes fish, lions and shit.”
“Aquarium and zoo, got it. Keep talking about what else you want to do and see.” Touya says the tiredness in his voice becomes obvious, wanting to listen to the other as he falls asleep, taking the hint Keigo continues.
“I’d wanna try some new foods, maybe Mexican, American or Indian food? Oh I had the random urge to want plants, maybe I should get one? Or start a garden but that would require having a normal life so…that’s a no. But I could probably get a small house like those cottage girls and have plants- oh maybe animals too. I’m not into cats but I know ya are so, ya can probably get a cat and we can have him live there. Can see ya with a black cat, reading a book or taking a nap and having it crawl and lay on ya. If you did have a cat what would ya name it?” Keigo asks in a whisper, turning to look at the other beside him, with his eyes closed and steady breathing as he lays.
“I’ll probably name him dove or firefly.”
