Summary
“Talk to her,” Steve says in Robin’s ear, suddenly, which makes her yelp and jump.
The sound and sudden motion alerts the woman with golden hair to their presence, and Robin turns away before she can be spotted and recognized. Not that the woman knows who she is, but she doesn’t want her to see the red flush already creeping across her cheeks.
“Shut up,” Robin says through gritted teeth, seizing Steve’s arm and pulling him along with her as she stomps down the road.
“Talk to her,” Steve persists.
“And say what?” Robin challenges. “She’s always so grumpy, and I would just be bothering her."
