“I heard you had a hangover.”, the soft voice of his neighbor and college friend reached him, melodious as ever. “I brought you some coffee to lift your mood, but remember to keep hydrated afterwards.”, he advised, and one could almost hear his smile as he spoke.
“How did this even get to you, you creep?” Jiang Cheng asked in a tone of mock indignation. "Did you see me arrive at dawn? Are you really spying on me, Lan Xichen?" He asked, arching an eyebrow behind his glasses, still not opening his eyes.
"Exactly. I've already installed an infrared camera in the hallway to know when you arrive." he joined in the fun. "And I even know this is the brand of coffee you like." he added, opening the can and handing it to his interlocutor, letting the aroma of the drink spread.

Upon starting college, Jiang Cheng moves into an apartment close to campus, hoping to have peace of mind in his independent life. However, he ends up discovering that he have a handsome, kind and helpful neighbor, who will mess with his structures and, maybe, become a companion for the future.
