"What are you wearing?"
"Huh, you don't like it?"
That's not the issue for Takina. They finally got a day off from everything—no LycoReco, no side jobs, no DA. Just the two of them ready to spend an evening in Hawaii with no interruptions.
Chisato's bathing suit isn't fully visible—she has shorts and an open button up on—but her bikini top and the towel around her neck says she has other plans.
"I thought we were going to eat out. Maybe do some shopping?"
Chisato tsks and shakes a finger, "Takina, were in Hawaii. With the ocean right there, you never know when you might want to swim."
Takina can't follow that logic, but she's been pleasantly surprised before, so she decides to follow her plan for now.
The sun has started to set—the sky a beautiful shade of orange—and the two of them sit at a café, the beach just by their feet.
Though night was soon approaching, the humidity had started to go up. Chisato's makeshift fan from her towel wasn't working, so she takes her shirt off, and throws it around the back of her chair.
"Ah, much better!"
Takina feels the beads of sweat dripping down her back, and understands that Chisato must be feeling cooler. It's just that…
It's distracting. Her bikini top is simple; off-white with floral patterns. But when Chisato reclines back into her seat, Takina averts her eyes.
"Takina-chan?"
Oh, Takina does not like that honorific.
"Yeah?" Takina sips innocently from her smoothie, still looking at the ocean.
"Are you having certain thoughts on my bikini?" Chisato's smile is downright devilish and Takina decides that's enough of that.
"Thank you for the drink," Takina bows and stands up from the table, walking away. Anywhere but around Chisato's shameless flirting.
"Ah, Takina! I was just kidding—a joke, a joke!" Chisato scrambles to leave money on the table, trying to catch up with Takina.
When Chisato finally catches up, Takina still looks away, lest Chisato see her blushing face.
