Natsuki Subaru is pushed off the beaten path at the start of her journey, and onto a path far, far longer, only to emerge... In a certain kind of rebel spirit.

Initially started as part of an Fic Exchange entry, it quickly grew to officially take the place of Diligence IF.
The prompt given by a member of Re:63's discord, was quite simply, to write a 'mainline' version of the canon Pride IF Subaru, which is to say, a Subaru that has failed countless times, but instead of shacking up with the Witch Cult, stuck by the people important to her, thus more or less following along the path set for her by certain conspirators.In practice, this fic's chapters focus on a different, more grizzled Subaru in the focus of things, who has grown outstandingly accustomed to her abilities, and has made peace with the fact that she's going to die countless deaths, focusing on more important things!
