Summary
Louis opened the crumbled piece of paper. His hands were already shaking even though he hadn´t read any of it yet.
He was standing at the bus stop, waiting for his bus, while light drops of rain poured down on him.
With trembling hands and a strange feeling in his abdomen, Louis finally began to look at the letter.
“Dear Lou, I know it isn´t fair of me to write you, especially not now. I know this is all so messed up.
You are going to this stupid boarding school up north and I will probably not see you for a long time. I bet everybody would tell me to just leave it be. They would tell me that there was no point, that we had no future and I should give it up. I know you´ll be gone for a while and I won´t even know if you´ll get this, or read it for that matter.
But God damn it, maybe that is exactly the reason why I am writing you right now. I just can´t pretend anymore..."
