Maria loves her wife. She always has and she always will. It’s been a few years since Carol finally came back to her. Sure, Carol has her duties and she has to protect the literal galaxy but she also comes back to Maria. She comes back to her family. They watch Monica grow up together, watch her become a beautiful and intelligent young woman and they are so proud. And through it all they stay in love, they stay devoted to each other. Maria knows Carol will always have her back, will support her through anything. Their love is strong.
