   Summary

   Alec goes to the past. Valentine is dead. Jonathan has upset the balance of the world somehow and has destabilized it enough that it’s only a matter of time before the planet is destroyed. Jace, Izzy, and Max are dead. Clary is still alive. Magnus and 4 other warlocks sacrifice themselves to send Alec back to before Jonathan is born so that he can try to stop Valentine from using the demon blood on Jocelyn. The ritual is performed, only it doesn't go quite as planned.
