Now a few months out of ANBU, still feeling whiplash from the change of pace, the easiest thing for Kakashi to do was find himself in the arms of another. But not with Obito. With Obito, it wouldn’t be easy. It would be too revealing, too raw. With Obito, it was always better to keep things on the surface. No matter how much Kakashi might want differently.
