Summary
Jared is the son of a reverend, strictly upbrought in a tiny town in Alabama. Jensen is the son of a sinner, whose life changed drastically when his father was convicted of several cruel murders. When Jared and Jensen meet at college, they bond at once, despite their different upbringings, beliefs and views, finding friendship and acceptance in the other.
Only months later, Jared goes back to his hometown to marry his pregnant fiancée. Something doesn't seem right, there suddenly is a wall where once trust has been and the friends slowly drift apart. Only years later, when Jared appears unexpectedly in front of Jensen's door, Jensen finally finds out the truth; about Jared's upbringing, his relationship with his wife, his kid and most of all, about Jared's feelings for him.
