Work Text:
The workday was always exhausting, but that would never take away from the fact that he enjoyed it. Managing to keep the smile and life of all those she saved was her second job, because the first one was waiting in his home. His first job was to take care of his recent family.
Mirio never imagined that he would start a family so quickly, especially with a person he rescued from a fateful situation. He still remembers when he first saw it.
The expedition to the Shie Hassaikai after discovering the existence of Eri was reason enough to give Mirio a first mission: to save the girl.
The day he and Midoriya saw the girl, they knew they had to save her. The poor girl was afraid of those men who were clearly Yakuzas and she didn't want to go back to them, but they had to let her go so as not to arouse suspicion. That day he felt a horrible rage for not being able to do something.
He fought as hard as he could to get to Eri, but he got a huge surprise: she wasn't alone. In the same room where the subjects were trying to evacuate the girl, there was also an emaciated-looking man. The hives appeared to climb all over the right side of the subject's face. Who was he? Mirio didn't remember reading anything about him. Mirio swore that those long-lashed golden eyes were begging to be saved despite maintaining a deadly gaze. At times, Mirio thought the man was an Alpha, but the strong scent of genji incense was enough to tell him it was an omega. An omega and a girl in danger. At that moment, Mirio did not hesitate to pounce on the villains with the aim of getting those two out safely.
The battle was hard for all the heroes that were involved, but worse it was for Mirio who had to listen as the man called “son” and “granddaughter” to whom he was torturing. Mirio did not understand how someone was capable of using people for such cruel purposes. However, when he heard that the young man named Chisaki Kai was going through all this from the age of ten to the present, Mirio knew that he could not lose. Mirio was adamant to the idea of giving Chisaki hope and avoiding that dark future for Eri.
Losing his quirk for a while was worth it, because he managed to rescue Chisaki and Eri. Mirio never imagined that trying to insert Chisaki into society would be so difficult. The man was older than him, but his complaints about quirks and dirt made him look like a teenager. For months Mirio thought it was tantrums, but he discovered that it was really a “trauma and mysophibia” condition, and he couldn't blame it. Worse still was when he discovered that Eri was the biological daughter of this omega with that guy he called “boss” or “father”.
Grief and anger dominated Mirio every time he heard how Chisaki, who was lost in his own thoughts, tried to tell what he suffered in the Shie Hassaikai's underground base, and how Chisaki was grateful to the “boss” because according to him, all of that was better, and it would have been worse if he stayed in the orphanage where he was abandoned by his biological parents.
With every word Mirio heard from Chisaki, he swore that he would give him and Eri a reason to live calmly.
Coexistence was not easy. It was obvious that Chisaki was cruelly subjugated so that he ended up procreating the girl. Chisaki rejected her with all her soul to the point of wishing her death and on one occasion, Chisaki tried to end her hands with Eri.
According to Recovery Girl, it was strange for an omega to act that way towards their young, but it was normal if they took it by force and under a lot of stress, which made their young feel like they weren't part of their pack.
Aizawa, after learning of that assassination attempt, did not hesitate to separate Eri from Chisaki, but despite Chisaki's hatred of Eri, Chisaki, like the omega that she is, felt the loss of her.
Mirio accompanied Chisaki through the long nights, where Chisaki was lost in her own instinct to beg to have her baby again. Long nights where Mirio didn't sleep and only comforted Chisaki.
Currently, Mirio could already sleep peacefully and continue with his new job as a ProHero. Little by little Chisaki was losing the desire to get Eri back, and currently he no longer recognizes him as her daughter, but he has few frictions caused by her instinct.
With the passing of time and years, Chisaki still maintained his hostile attitude and narcissism, but when he was alone with Mirio he seemed to be another person. Chisaki managed to open his feelings for Mirio with small samples. Simple stocks that Mirio treasured. Hugs and chaste kisses, that was enough.
Mirio never imagined that he would establish a relationship with Chisaki and the day he revealed the relationship to Mr. Sir Nighteye he never imagined that the older man would laugh so loudly while he said “I thought so”.
Mirio stopped remembering the past when he had inadvertently arrived at the entrance of him house.
Mirio stopped remembering the past when he had inadvertently arrived at the entrance of her house. A quiet smile appeared on his face as he entered his house.
“I'm home.” The answer he received was the cry of a baby.
Although she never imagined that she would end up in a relationship with the omega that he saved and cared for, she never imagined that she would end up having a daughter with him.
Mirio heard footsteps coming from the kitchen, which began to approach the doorway of the living room.
“Welcome.” Mirio smiled, hearing Chisaki and being able to see him perfectly.
Chisaki wore a green jacket that had purple fur around his neck, black pants that were tight to his legs, and a pair of white sneakers that matched the tie of the same color and the black shirt.
In his arms was the baby. The little girl had the same hair color as Chisaki and golden eyes, but there was a detail that definitely made her say that she was the daughter of ProHero Lemillion and those were her curious eyes. She inherited the exact same eyes from Mirio, but in a golden color.
Every time Mirio saw his daughter, he couldn't help but laugh a little. Deep down he wished that the little girl had exactly Chisaki's eyes, eyes that for many were intimidating, but for him, they were beautiful. Her daughter was so pretty because she was an exact mix of both and that she was the product of the first heat where Chisaki could feel comfortable.
He remembers that day. Chisaki went into a state of panic and anxiety upon learning that she was in heat, fearing that she would get “dirty” with touches she didn't want, repeating over and over again that it would be good for her boss, but that it would all be over quickly.
Mirio comforted him, repeating over and over again that everything would be fine, that no one would touch him without his consent or wish.
He still remembers Chisaki's golden look in his eyes, looking at him resolutely. Tears threatened to spill out of the old man's eyes. A request and a plea were enough for the aroma of genji's incense to cover the entire room, intoxicating Mirio, who despite that did not give in until he heard Chisaki's words. Chisaki was asking him to touch his body, to do it with the same affection that he showed in his words. And he did not refuse to teach Chisaki that he too deserved a decent treatment.
More than just a sexual encounter caused by Chisaki's heat, it was making love to her.
A tug on Mirio's cheek was enough to make him stop remembering.
The infant's plump hand was to blame for bringing him back to reality. Kaori laughed at the small groan of pain that Mirio emitted. He didn't notice when Chisaki pulled her too close.
“What happened?” Chisaki asked sternly as he removed the little girl, who couldn't stop laughing.
“Nothing bad has happened.” Mirio gave a big smile and then softened her gaze, “I just can't stop thinking about all this.”
“What are you talking about?”
“In that, I never imagined that I would have a perfect family with you.”
