Clad in the same long, black cloak worn by all of his kin, he ascended from shadows cast by the faint light of the hospital room in which his charge lay motionless. With his hood pulled forward as far as it could go, leaving nothing but the lower half of his face exposed, he stuck close to the back wall, despite the fact that no human could see or sense his otherworldly presence anyway.
And there, he waited.
In twenty-five minutes he was to reap the life of a young male, left comatose following an accident with no chance of recovery."

(SPOILERS: Langas a grim reaper n he was meant to reap Reki of his life. he had like 20 mins to spare tho. He felt a need to come closer to him n so he did, studying his face n being curipus n fascinated by him. Langa fell in love w him. He touched his chest, smth he has never done b4 bc usually mortals passed thru him, but he never saw if he passes thru Them. He didnt, hisbpalm was laid on Rekis chest. Langa wanted to save him, to make a miracle. He didnt know what happens tp reapers who disobey their cycle but he didnt care, he wanted Reki to live. By touching him he saw Rekis whole life n felt his emotions, n shaped the fate for Reki to recieve love that he deserved but never actually got. He kissed him at time he meeded to reap him, n Reki opened his eyes. His family n nurses rushed in n hugged,, Langa wishing he could do too, but couldnt so he sat on the bed. he didnt even realise he didnt fall thru it. Reki told his mom he felt as if someone was watchinf over him n that theyre still here, n he held out a hand that Langa interlocked his fingers with, n Rekis eyes widened bc he felt a light breeze then, meaning he can Feel him, but not see him. His mom asked Who could it be. Reki said maybe a guardian angel. N Langa, whos becoming more warm by his words, he felt himself shifting n in the end he grew white wings. he became Rekis guardian angel)
