While Brassius had run out to buy wine, Hassel set out rose petals, dimmed the room’s lighting, and put on ambient music. His husband—‘Husband!!!!!’ his heart cheered—was lounging in the middle of the petals, with only a robe on, barely covering his body. It was the fourth day in a row Brassius had come back to some romantic scene.
