Whizzer could easily make Marvin snap, all he had to do was bring up his family, and he was quick too. Things were harder for Marvin. Whizzer remained a bit of a mystery. He’d carefully curated walls around himself and Marvin still hadn’t knocked them down. However, Marvin figured out that if he mentioned Whizzer’s undisclosed childhood Whizzer automatically went on the defensive.
Now, Whizzer was offering him a helping hand. He was being nice, and maybe even caring. Marvin felt his heart rattle dangerously in his chest.
