“What’s taking so long?” Powder complained loudly, turning heads at the docking station. “Is the airship coming here the old fashioned way?”
Caitlyn checked her watch. “The ship’s not set to depart for another 17 minutes, Powder.”
Powder groaned. “I hate waiting.”
Vi, standing next to Caitlyn and in uniform like the omega, handed Powder a cold can. “Here, Pow,” the alpha said. “Have more juice.”
Vander, hearing it, excused himself from his conversation with the dock workers and approached them. “How many is that now?” he asked Vi, chuckling as Powder popped the can open and chugged it.
Vi grinned. “A dozen and counting.”
“Dad,” Powder whined. “I’m bored!”
