Cars zoomed by against the shinning horizon of L.A, the stars choked out by the Vegas Strip's neon lights. The synthetic environment reminded Omega of his home, a place he had little memory of. He could never pin down the details but it never failed to spark nostalgia in the back of his mind.
No matter whatever he had before, Earth was his home now. He lived in a penthouse, ran a successful store, and was in a complicated relationship with the king of burgers. Well, that's what his marketing called him.
Jack, all though he was charming and cunning, could never hope to reach success like McDonald's or Burger King. They were faceless corporate managers that ran the empty shell of a fast food chain that was known and beloved by all, while Jack was... Jack. The only leg up they had was that Jack was one of the few mascots still alive. The rest died of old age, in a war, or "OD'ing".
As much as Jack liked to think he was in charge, they both knew Omega was the boss. He wasn't as rich as Jack but he had something even better; an in and out knowledge of the business world. It's why Jack had come to him in the first place, that and his other expertise. Omega wasn't afraid to admit he had a busy sex, but tonight wasn't about that. Tonight was about Jack and wrapping up Omega's end of the bargain.
A muffled scream disturbed Omega's thoughts. The scream strained to a pathetic whimper as Jack tightened the grip on their target's throat, the mascot's sadistic smile never wavering. "Are we doing this or not?" Jack asked, his annoyance evident.
Omega sighed and started to untie his apron, setting it down on the hood of the car. "You're so impatient, you know I've gotta get in the mood."
"Yeah, but we've been getting in the mood for thirty minutes and my show starts in an hour." Jack complained. "So are we doing this or not?"
Omega sighed. "Alright, give me a second." He unbuttoned his shirt, revealing moving and swelling lumps that ran across his flesh. The lumps stretched and pulled at his skin until several long, thick, pitch black tentacles snaked out into the hot desert air and curl towards the terrified mascot.
Going back to earlier, Omega may have been less then honest. Mascots OD'ing was the official story. No one questioned a rich guy dying from too much partying after all. In reality Omega and Jack played a huge hand in taking down other mascots in a sort of pact; Omega helped Jack take out his competition, and Jack returned the favor with generous investments. It was a win-win situation really. All that's left was that little Ceasars bastard, but given he was tied and gagged in front of him with his legs mangled by Jack, Omega wasn't too worried about it. He was helpless; just like Omega liked them.
Omega waved at Jack, telling him to get off the guy. He did of course; Jack was well aware of what his tentacles could do. He'd been on the receiving sides of them multiple times. Jack walked around Omega, already going to the trunk to get the cleaning supplies. If Jack was ready to get this over with Omega wouldn't draw it out, because what's the fun if he didn't care? His tentacles unceremoniously shot out and wrapped around him, easily pulling Ceasar apart like the cheese on his shitty pizzas.
Guts, blood, and bones splattered everywhere as the screams were abruptly silenced. Everything flew everywhere, and despite Omega's caution his suit still got splattered in blood, along with every inch of his body. Jack shut the trunk, the business man mostly spared from the mess with the exception of a stain on his cheek.
Jack clicked his tongue as he thumbed the mess off his plastic face. "Always so messy."
"You like it messy." Omega reminded.
"No, I don't like the mess." Jack tenderly cupped Omega's cheek, his gloved hand getting soaked in blood. "I like you."
"A romantic." Omega remarked before pulling Jack in for a brief kiss.
The two split apart and looked at the mess, all enthusiasm dissipating when they realized they'd have to deal with it. Omega clapped his hands. "Alright, let's get this over with. Your show is in an hour." Omega reminded.
"Right, on it." Jack nodded before striking the bloody ground with a shovel. Omega nodded and started to soak up the chunks of flesh with his tentacles, his mind wandering to what show Jack was obsessed with now.
