   Summary

   THE PROBLEM: Isabelle Lightwood needs to prove to her parents that Alec's boyfriend (who may or may not hate her, he apparently hasn't decided, but that's beside the point) is perfect son-in-law material and deserves to be invited to Max's upcoming intervention-slash-family-dinner. The potential of getting permanently banned from further family dinner interventions for her shithead baby brother is just a small bonus. But hey! Anything for Alec (who has no idea she's doing this, but again - beside the point).
   THE SOLUTION: Pay her roommate's ex 20 bucks, teach him how to be the world's worst (fake!) boyfriend, and make Magnus look like a goddamn saint in comparison. And it's not like she's ever going to catch feelings for him - this is Maia's ex, after all, and Isabelle's totally immune to falling in love. Right?
