Work Text:
It has taken Hazel a very long time to realize, which probably makes her a very poor detective, but she has feelings for her friend, Daisy. It's odd, Hazel thinks, that she failed to notice it before. She and Daisy spend a lot of time together and she occupies Hazel's mind a lot, even when there are mysteries to be solved.
Her feelings for Daisy are no longer a mystery. She wonders if Daisy knows. Should Hazel tell her? It's certainly a risk…
In the end, Daisy the detective, figures it out herself and kisses Hazel. It is so wonderful.
