Prompt: "did they hurt you?”
...
Izuku was trying to slip out of the ropes that bound him. It had been stupid of him to come after the drug dealers by himself. If he had used his head then he wouldn't have come by himself. Under normal circumstances he would have worked with Eraserhead. The hero worked with him despite the fact Izuku was a vigilante.
The only reason Izuku hadn't called him was what kind of drug was being sold. A quirk destroying drug. There was no way that Izuku could risk his favorite hero becoming quirkless because of him. A good plan as he had taken one regular bullet to the shoulder and a quirk destroying bullet to the upper thigh. Being quirkless meant it didn't affect him. The wounds hurt like a bitch however.
Inside Izuku's jacket he felt his jacket go off again. It was the fourth time it had gone off since he was captured. Knowing his luck it would be Katsuki or if he was particularly unlucky Aunt Mitsuki. They were always calling him at the most unreasonable times. Well unreasonable for him not for them. If he got out of this he didn't know how he was going to explain his new injuries. Katsuki was going to be pissed that he was out again.
Just as he slipped his wrists from the bonds the door to the warehouse. His head snapped to the side to see the police enter and Eraserhead dropped from the ceiling.
Izuku shouted, "Watch their weapons! There is a quirk destroying bullets. I don't know how many they have."
"Are you serious?" Questioned one of the officers.
But they didn't get the chance to further question it. Instead they had to focus on the traffickers but the main enemy was gone. The man with the bird beak mask. Izuku didn't know whether or not he should be grateful. There was something about the man that had invoked fear into Izuku like he never felt before.
Izuku startled when Tsukauchi dropped beside him and began cutting away at the rope. Under his breath the man was muttering about stupid vigilantes and death wishes. Apparently he had not ingratiated him himself with the detective with this stunt. Oh well he hadn't planned on it.
"You came for me. How? Why? How did you find me?" Asked Izuku.
Tsukauchi gave him a dark look before he answered, "Of course we did. We had an Kage use his quirk to follow you. I'm sorry it took so long for us to catch up. Did they hurt you?”
Izuku grit out, "Two bullet wounds."
The ropes fell away from his legs and Tsukauchi gently helped him up. He looked at the injuries and letting out a string of curses. The drug dealers were caught in handcuffs at this point. With the help of Tsukauchi he was able to limp outside to the ambulance.
As soon as they were clear of the building the paramedics took him from Tsukauchi. They took a few minutes to cut away his jacket from the shoulder wound and then clean it. Izuku hissed in pain but kept still.
Twenty minutes passed as they dug the bullet from his shoulder. They were hesitant to try and do the same to his leg given its position. It was too close to the artery for them to try and dig it out here. His paramedics were considering taking him to a hospital and Izuku was considering trying to escape when Tsukauchi returned.
"Don't even think about it Rabbit," ordered Tsukauchi.
Oh he was definitely escaping. Izuku didn't move at first. He waited for Tsukauchi to turn to face the paramedics to get an update. As soon as his eyes were on the other men Izuku lunged. Regret filled him as his leg buckled and gave out from under him. This caused him to collapse right into the detective.
To his surprise Tsukauchi was right there waiting for him. He caught Izuku right up under the armpits.
Somewhat fondly the detective said, "I told you not to try it. Now stay still before you injure that leg anymore."
"No hospital," snapped Izuku.
"Wasn't planning on it," came Eraser's voice, "Recovery Girl has agreed to meet us at UA."
"Actually I'll take the hospital."
"Too late," answered Tsukauchi, "Besides where are going to go?"
"Bastards," growled Izuku.
"My parents were happily married," quipped back Tsukauchi, "Now let's get you to UA."
