   Summary

   "Please, I cannot do this without you."

   The room went silent.

   He clenched his fist, tears threatening to spill from his eyes.
   His voice was no more than a whisper, coarse and hurt.

   "Why didn't you listen? For once in your life why could you not have just listened to me?"

   More than half a year passed since the incident in the catacombs.
   The friendship between Ominis and Sebastian has been mostly mended, to a point where they could almost pretend nothing had happened.
   Almost.
   As hard as he tries, Ominis cannot deny that their relationship has changed, at first he assumes just for the worse, but as they get older he realises that maybe all this time, the reason he felt so strongly conflicted between his morals and who he had taken for his best friend, was because he felt for him in a way he had never felt for anyone before.
   What will he do, when every part of his being screams to be with him? Plagued by the lingering knowledge that their fragile relationship is one bad day away from pushing them over the edge, no matter how lovely it can be, Ominis struggles to understand how he should feel towards him.
