Everybody deserves at least a little bit of love and respect

Summary:

Jimmy was done. He was going to blow everything up like the others have done to his life. But what if that plan was ruined and he gets treated like he should?

Work Text:

Jimmy had gone completely bonkers and nobody could stop him. They have all tried but he was too strong at this point, so they have all agreed on a plan to finally stop Jimmy.

The plan was for one of them to confront Jimmy while the rest hid around the area and they would all attack him at the same time to take him down.

But the first step was to go and find him. Luckily it wasn't hard to find him, as he was sitting at the festival grounds.

"Okay Joel, you go confront him, we'll stay here" Sausage said.

Joel nodded before he walked quietly over to him.

"I know you're there Joel" Jimmy said, his smirk hearable in his voice.

"I've come here to talk with you" Joel said.

"The others are somewhere around here, aren't they?" he asked.

"No, I'm here alone. Just me and you" Joel assured him.

"Oh don't worry, no need to lie, I knew that this was gonna happen. I actually planned this" he said, before he let out a chuckle.

Then he turned around with a villainous grin on his face as he took something out of his pocket.

"You'll get the monologue later, when I'm sure none of you are capable of attacking me" he laughed, before he threw the thing on the ground.

It must have had some potion in it, because it caused a big smoke cloud and now they were in a cage at the same spot.

"You're finally awake again!" Jimmy said with a villainous grin.

"Why are you doing this?" Katherine yelled.

"Because, if I can't have what I've worked for for years then you can't either" he said.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Joel asked.

"Oh, so you don't remember what you took from me?" he asked, raising his voice.

"N-no?" Joel said, clearly attempting to think about what he had done.

"You took away everything I had. Even my humanity. You dehumanized me for so long, made sure that I didn’t have the same rights as all of you, you made sure that I’d be treated like shit just because you're an insecure little bitch” Jimmy cursed out.

“But you know what? I’m going to make all of you pay for the pain you've caused me just by pressing this button” he then said, pulling out a switch.

"What are you about to do?" fWhip asked, panicking.

"Well, you guys took everything away from me so I'm going to do the same to you!" Jimmy laughed as he took out a remote with a big red button.

All of the emperor's started panicking and some started yelling at Jimmy to not do it.

"Aww, look at you guys, trying so hard to stop me. So entertaining" he giggled.

He continued to giggle until the ground started shaking.

"Wait, I didn't even press it yet!" Jimmy almost whined like a child.

Right after that the rift started glowing a bright purple and with every second it became more and more bright.

Then the rifts' obsidian wall broke and revealed a certain hermit.

"I think we came here at the wrong time" Scar said, just barely hearable, immediately followed by a couple other hermits.

"What's going on here?" Tango asked.

Almost all of the emperors started yelling at the same time which overwhelmed all of the hermit's who just came through the portal.

That was the point Jimmy stopped and started shaking. What was Scar doing here? He didn't want to blow everything up when Scar was here. But at the same time there was no point anymore.

If Scar and the others would have come later, they would hate him as much so it didn't matter. Nothing mattered anymore. Everybody now knows how far he'll go and they would never trust him again, so there was no point anymore.

So he let out a shaky breath to mentally prepare himself to do this. He placed his finger on the button and- the remote was flown out of his hand, breaking immediately when it hit the ground as he was pinned onto the ground.

"Sheriff, this isn't you!" Scar yelled.

Scar was right, this wasn't him but this is what he had become. A monster. This is the opposite he had wanted to be. But this was the only option he had left after Gem betrayed him. His first and only official ally betrayed him.

He didn't even realize that Scar had stopped pinning him to the ground and instead was basically cradling him.

"Listen, I understand that it has been really hard for you, but you have me here now, and I'll make sure that you'll be treated with the respect that you deserve" Scar softly told him.

And that's what broke him. He started sobbing into Scar's chest, grabbing onto his shirt like life depended on it.

"Do you want to talk about what made you want to do this?" Scar asked. This is the first person in so long who has asked him about how he felt.

So he tried to respond to Scar but couldn't make out any words, instead only let out a couple of sounds.

"Don't worry, you can tell me later, I will still be here, ready to listen" Scar reassured him.

He continued to sob for what felt like hours with Scar hugging him and reassuring him that he was loved and respected and that his emotions were valid.

Eventually the tears stopped along with the sobs meaning that he'd passed out.

"Poor Timmy. I wish I would have actually asked him how he was doing the first time we came here instead of making fun of him like everyone else" Grian said, sounding really guilty.

"It isn't your fault, because even if you did ask he might not have told you how he actually felt. It took me a while to realize that he wasn't actually okay" Scar reassured Grian.

"Yeah, but that doesn't make me feel better knowing that all this time my little brother has been treated so badly and me not even asking how he's been" Grian sighed, looking at his brother who looked so vulnerable and broken.

"Yeah, but look at the bright side! You can be here for him now when he needs everybody who he trusts to be there for him to recover from this" Scar said.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Plus, it could have been a lot worse than this. I mean, he was about to blow everything up and he would probably never recover that quilt" Grian said, to which Scar simply hummed in response.

"We should probably go put him to bed since I'm pretty sure that the ground isn't that comfortable" Scar stated.

"Yeah" Grian said. "Hey fWhip, could you tell us where the nearest nether portal to the nether roof is?"

Jimmy woke to yelling downstairs. Well that isn't good. So he opened his eyes and first took in his surroundings. It was his old room in Tumble Town. Why was he here?

"Well hello there! Good morning Jimmy!" Scar said, slightly startling him.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, raising his arm ready to defend himself.

"We came here yesterday" Scar said.

"Wait, does that mean that Grian and Tango are here?" he asked.

"Yeah, they're downstairs at the moment" Scar told him.

"Wait, are you all back?" he asked, with big eyes.

"Well, not all of us. The ones that came, came here because we had a reason. Also, Mumbo's also here now" Scar explained, causing Jimmy's eyes to widen.

"Mumbo's here?" he said with childlike excitement.

"Yep, he should be in a guest room" Scar said with a smile.

Jimmy's face was exactly like an excited child's face. He was honestly happy to see that Jimmy was acting more normal than completely insane or depressed.

"You know, yesterday I asked you if you wanted to talk about what caused you to feel the way you've felt for the past however long you've felt like this" Scar said, slightly hesitating to bring it up.

"Oh. That. I'm sorry you had to walk in on that, I just, I- I don't know what had come over me, I just, I-" he tried to say, but broke down into sobs.

"Hey, don't worry, it's okay, no need to apologize. I know that you must have been feeling a lot of emotions at once meaning you must have been really overwhelmed with all those emotions and I know that you also haven't been treated the best since almost the start" Scar comforted, as he pulled him into a hug.

"But that doesn't make my behavior okay" he sobbed into Scar's shoulder.

"Listen, your actions were based on built up anger and distress caused by the others and I can see that the others have emotionally and even physically hurt you multiple times and there's only so much abuse you can take before you snap" Scar softly spoke as he continued to rub his back which was comforting.

They continued to stay like that until the yelling stopped and footsteps started coming towards the room they were in.

"Scar, how's-" Grian started, but immediately stopped his sentence when he saw his brother crying and immediately ran over to him and wrapped his arms around him.

"Don't worry, it's okay, we're here now. Tango will also come here in a bit when he's calmed down" Grian told him as he and Scar held him close.

"T-thank you for being s-so nice to me" he sobbed.

"You deserve to be treated with kindness too, it's not a big deal" Scar said, causing him to break down even more.

"I-it's been so long since s-somebody has b-been so nice t-to me" he continued to cry and even started shaking.

Jimmy wasn't sure how long they stayed like that, since all he knows is that at some point Tango joined the cuddle pile and eventually his body decided to give up and he passed out.

When he woke up, he was surrounded by Scar, Tango and Grian. It was really comforting to have them be here. He finally felt happy.

After all the bullying and abuse he has been through these past couple of months and all the build of anger that had exploded (literally).

He smiled as he closed his eyes and fell back asleep.
