When both of them saw Mr. Capable a.k.a Jeon Jungkook swam beautifully in front of their faces, they knew it was a competition of pride between the two of them, at least one of them just have to be second good at swimming. There’s no way that they can beat Jungkook at, well, almost everything.
“Honestly, Tae, I think I can swim better than you,” Hoseok stared into Taehyung’s face, being serious.
“Uh, hyung,” Taehyung swayed back, “I don’t think so. I can speak to dolphins, remember."
"That doesn’t mean you can swim better than me,” Hoseok stated, “Also, talking to dolphins? Really, Taehyung? I thought you only talk to your alien friends” He splashed a little bit of water to his face.
He gave the older man his famous rectangle smile. Hoseok continued, “I bet you can’t even hold your breath.” and Taehyung had his super offended look. “Oh my god, hyung,” his face looked disgusted and Hoseok just rolled his eyes. “Okay. Let’s do it, let’s hold our breath and see who gives up first. The loser got to do whatever the winner told him.” Taehyung challenged, and Hoseok agreed easily.
They counted to three together and saw each other faces underwater. Hoseok looked relaxed somehow and saw Taehyung closed his eyes just after the second they got in. Both of them were competitive, not wanting to lose the battle of not breathing, and both were too stupid to realise what they were doing.
After a while (actually no, maybe 20 seconds after they dipped their heads) Hoseok could see Taehyung struggling already, almost suffocating. He smiled and thought of all the things he could make Taehyung do since he’s gonna win. But Hoseok isn’t Hoseok if he does not have the heart of an angel, so when Taehyung was about to give up, he swam a little closer and put his mouth on Taehyung’s. Taehyung opened his eyes, breathing in the oxygen Hoseok gave and right at that second he felt Hoseok’s tongue in his mouth, and Taehyung didn’t pulled back. Not long after that both of their tongues were dancing together, bodies still in the water.
Taehyung deepened the kiss but Hoseok broke it and raised his head, gasping for air. Taehyung appeared after that, still smiling and said, “See, you lost. I told you I’m a better swimmer, and now I want you to–” Taehyung continued his speech underwater because Hoseok pushed down his head, annoyed.

Jeon Jungkook was swimming freestyle when he saw his two hyungs making out in the water. He suddenly stopped and thought that he should never ever let himself accidentally drink the water from the pool because it had the saliva of those two guys he saw.
