Summary
The invitation sits on Yuzuru’s hotel room desk, watching him, taunting. Yuzuru sits on his hotel room bed, watching it, unmoving. His chest feels tight. He should be getting ready, slipping into the suit he’s had tailored especially for this occasion and slicking his hair back, but he can’t tear his eyes away from the sepia-toned photo on the front of the card. Javi looks beautiful in his own tailored suit. His eyes are warm, shining with love. Yuzuru can’t remember the last time Javi looked at him that way. Those eyes aren’t for him anymore. They’re for her, for the woman in the picture. They’re for the one Javi will be marrying in just a few hours.
