Summary
At 27, Dean is finally moving on to pastures new. With his moms untimely death, and his brother’s girlfriend expecting a baby, he knows it’s time to become independent and buy his first home.
He finds a lovely property, just the right size for his bachelor lifestyle and his new found freedom of nightly parties and one night stands. But there was one thing he didn’t count on, his upstairs neighbor who he shares a small terrace with, Castiel Novak. A politics professor who enjoys nothing more than spending evenings watching movies, tending to his plant pots on their terrace and having mind blowing sex with the man he is dating.
After a frosty first meeting, they struggle to connect, feeling their lifestyles are incompatible with each other. But one incident sparks a common ground. Their friendship grows tentatively with warm chats on the terrace. Which makes Dean all the more confused when Cas disappears without a word.
When Cas comes back the bad feelings return, but as time draws on they start to realise that maybe they aren’t so different after all.
