Hitoshi gets it. Katsuki’s known Midoriya for years, they’ve lived and died for each other. He has this close, sometimes hostile, but undeniable bond with Todoroki too. Kirishima was the first person in their class that ever got close to Katsuki. It makes sense that Katsuki would want to get them something great.
It’s…it’s not a big deal that Katsuki would forget Hitoshi in all of that. For one thing, Hitoshi doesn’t think he’s easy to shop for. Katsuki already does a million things for him too.
