Summary
All she could do was smile at him and grasp his hand, thinking about how different their story would be had they lived in any other universe except this one. She hadn’t known that she loved him until now and now was too late.
They were always meant for each other, maybe in another lifetime under a completely separate sky. But under this sky, the soulless starless sky, one of their stars would no longer exist in two weeks, leaving the other the navigate the future without any light on their side.
A tear slipped down her cheek when she looked back at the light-polluted sky, thinking that maybe in the next life, their stars would finally align and the sun will shine again.
