Operation: Get A Boyfriend

Summary:

View was always supportive of his older brothers and who they chose to love, regardless of what his father may or may not think. In fact, in his eyes, P'Team and P'Tul were just another set of older brothers to tease and cuddle with if you were to ask him.

Even so, his plans of finding a girlfriend and introducing her to the entire family just fell through...

Or

View never saw himself as anything but straight and supportive... until a senior at his high school turned his world upside down.

Chapter 1: realization

Chapter Text

"View, you must be joking."

The youngest son tried hard not to flinch under his father's scrutinizing stare, his mother to his left trying to soothe him while giving pointed looks to her husband that he ignored as he kept on.

"As though it's not bad enough that your two older brothers are also... like that... you are now telling me that you are as well?"

"Dad, I'm bi..."

"It doesn't matter." his father cut him off. Unable to hold back anymore, View flinched, causing his mother to pull him closer to her. "As if I should be proud to have 2 gay sons and one who is more prone to cheating...!"

"Dear, please." his mother cut in before View could even try to say anything. "It's a new year, don't use such stereotypical and simply wrong assumptions." then before his father could so much as open his mouth, she went on. "We will discuss this later, once you've calmed down. Else, I may have to take more drastic measures - I told you when we just began dating that I would protect any children we have from anything, including you. Did you forget?"

"Love..."

His mom gently nudged him in the side so View abruptly stood up and rushed away, taking it as the sign that he should be leaving whilst ignoring his father's shouts to return. Making his way to his room through a vision of tears was hard, but he made it anyway, wishing that he wasn't feeling this way, that he could just bring a girlfriend home and have his father finally be happy... but View couldn't, not really. Was it really his fault if he thought of everyone equally? Why did he have to be with a girl if he had no such feelings for one right now? Did his father want him to force himself?

Once again, the teen wished that his brothers were here, but having recently graduated, Hia Win had taken P'Team out on a trip (just the two of them) while Hia Waan was busy between work and spending time with P'Tul. Neither would be back home in what felt like a long while and yet... he just wanted his brothers. He figured their mother was understanding (at least so it seemed) but he just wanted to cuddle and be held by his older brothers like they used when they were young, before their father claimed they were too old for such 'dumb' actions.

View missed that. He just wanted to go back...

Sniffling, the youngest brother turned to look at his phone, hoping against hope that someone reached out to him. There was nothing. Not that he could blame them for not knowing, he did just recently start to try and figure out his feelings, this was such a recent thing... seriously, a mere few months ago, he was talking Hia Win's ear off about some girl, who ended up nice but the break up was mutual, as they both wanted something different after high school. And that was when View's eyes caught side of a senior of his he previously didn't pay as much attention to in anything but a purely platonic manner, P'Sakda. The older teen was always so nice and sweet to him and View respected him so much...

… did that respect grow into a sort of crush? How did he know he wasn't just confused?

In his heart, though, View knew he wasn't - P'Sakda was so extremely popular and beloved by everyone, there was no way he would notice a now different look in his direction by a junior who was basically a stranger to him, but how he wished... biting his lip, he put his head on his pillow and tried to fall asleep. He would think about it tomorrow.

Whatever this ended in heartbreak for him or not, at least he could say he tried...

Well, that and the fact that he had the courage to confess to his dad and mom that he may not be so straight after all (which ended mostly good) so, surely, confessing to the person who was causing these feelings in him should be a peace of cake, right? View smiled, content with that thought, and closed his eyes, failing to see that his phone began to echo with messages from his brothers and even their boyfriends.

He could do it. He knew he could...
