052. Pray

Summary:

There was no god, as his girlfriend wouldn’t be dead if he was there, but Jason prayed to him still, and asked for a miracle.

Jason sinks to his knees on the forest floor and weeps.

The cops just told him that his girlfriend was dead-murdered.

grief gripped his heart beyond pain and pride.

How could this happen?

why Chrissy who smiled with her eyes, danced with her heart, who did her nails right after her homework, never drinking at parties and always early to church.

He couldn’t understand.

he felt so lost he came to pray, begging not for himself or his family, not to win the championships or pass a test, his greatest wish in the world was for Chrissy to be alive.
