angel never made a contract before. He believed a contract would be too much work. And would allow someone to touch him. Years of untouch and the fear of the death of love made him hesitant to try and allow someone in. So why did he allow this man. A man who says he hates all devils but allows 2 little monsters to infiltrate his home. And allow angel. A being worse than a devil by pretending to be an human . Into his Harte. Into his life. Before the contract aki had never feared to be near angel. He touches hands, shoulder or arm with no fear of his already short life being siphoned away. He never feared angel like most did. At first Angel hated the fact aki could never keep himself in check. It was up to the angel devil to keep this foolish human alive. But no matter what. Aki never feared the graze of the death angel brought. Maybe that is why the angel fell so hard. That is why Angel stopped moving away from aki when his hands would get to close. He could help but revel in the small touches aki gave him. He got carried away. He got to confrtbull with the idea of touch. He forgot what his power could truly do. He forgot the gamble it was falling for someone who’s life was already so short.
The bomb devil incident shocked angel out of his dream of heaven . He should have known it was too good to ever last. No devil is allowed in heaven. The feeling of sucking out akis life made angel stomach turn in hatred. Aki had grabbed his hand with no hesitation. He pulled angel in and held him close even when his life was drained away by the being he was trying hard to protect. At first angel thought he would be mad at the loss of his oh so short life. But he wasn’t. He smiled at angel. He was glad a monster cover in the lives of so many was ok and safe. He smiled at the creature who ripped more of his life away like it was petals on a flower. Angel wanted to cry. He wanted to scream at the foolish humone. ‘ why must you love me so ?’ He wanted to scream and rip his hair out. He wished he never loved aki. And he prayed even harder that aki never loved him. Loving the angel devil only left in death.
Angel tried his hardest to never touch aki again. He didn’t allow the small touches Aki had given him before. The touches he had come to love and Waite for in the day. “ stop it “ hissed out angel as he rubbed the spot aki grabbed. Rubbing the covered arm like it was covered in blood. Aki had a face angel didn’t want to look into. He ignored aki and conditioned with patrol. He never liked patrol but stopping for a break allowed aki to be close. Too close . It allowed them to talk. Too much talking. If they were to talk. Then angel would get weak again. He would allow aki to touch him again. And then aki would die. He can’t let that happen. No not again.
Aki looked over as angel was lost in his thoughts. He has suspicions on his true thoughts. Aki wanted to talk to Angel. Just for a second to get any fog that was clouding his mind. But Angel side steps any attempts from aki to get close. Aki craved for the softness of angel he ones thought he was the only one to truly feel. But ever since the incident angel had distinced himself from aki. It shattered aki Harte with ever denile. It took a few weeks befor aki broke. He got the yell in protest as aki dragged Angel away. They only got so far befor angel was able to yanked his thin arms away from aki. “ the hell aki , do you want to die!” Angel yelled as he practically rubbed the are aki touched to the bone. “ what is going on with you lately? “ aki asked. Angel didn’t look at aki as he continued trying to back away from him. But aki was much bigger and he had no problems touching Angel. So he kept him trapped between wall of public safety that angel was surton would end up killing both aki and himself. “ what are you talking about “ hissed angel still not daring to meet aki eyes “ look at me angel “ angel did not obey.
“ angel “ aki harsh voice stabbed shards of sharp painful glass into angels Harte but he held himself together . Angel could not look at aki. Or he would fall. And he would fell. And he would want. And wanting would kill aki.
Aki was angry. His hart was on fire as angel did not look up at him. Aki wondered if angel hated him. He wanted to yell at angel. The week had been hell for aki. The idea of loosing angel sent him over the edge. Eventing set him off. His mind always going back to angel . He was about to yell at angel for his childness when he hurd a hiccup. Akis face turned to white. His hart droped to his stumic. Angels small sholder shook as small sobs rocked his petite body. The sounds of tears sucked in akis ears as he saw his angel cry. “ what no no no don’t cry “ aki tryed to sooth as he hesitatly places his hands on angels shoulders. But Angel body flèches like he was shot. “ DONT TOUCH ME “ yelled angel as he presses his body further into the wall of public safety. Aki ignored his wishes. “ I’m sorry please don’t cry “ aki tried and begged as angels cried seem to take up every sense of aki . Angel shook his head as aki reached his hand closer to his deadly body. “ don’t touch me don’t touch me “ cries angel as he shook his body like a petal in winter. Aki was never good at saying no to angel. But his will to touch Angel will always make him do stupid thangs. So aki rapped his arms around angel. Angel tried and push him away. He was to week to even make aki notice his struggle. But aki wouldn’t care. He hugged angel till he stoped crying. He would of hugged him till the world ended. He would of hugged him till he ended. If it ment to never see his angel cry a single tear he would do anything. He hated himself how angel wanted to get away. He wanted to apologize because he still wouldn’t let him go. He’s a selfish man who is willing to hurt Angel just to hug him. Just to touch him.
Aki doesn’t know when angel had calmed down from his torment mind. All aki could focus on was the feeling of angel softness under his hold. Angel had given up. Excepting the Seth loathing the just to be near aki. He had missed the overpowere smell of smoke that sunk into his nose whenever he was close to aki. The smoke was overpowere in the chest of him thogh. He used to hate the smell of smoke till he meet aki. He used to hate living till he met aki too. They ended up on the ground. Angel practically in akis lap as he recover from his crying fit. After angel had stoped crying aki still did not let him go. Aki thanks ,it because he never want to let go. That if he were to let go they would go back to a devil and devil hunter. Not aki and angel. “ I’m not going to run away “ he Hurd angels muffuled voice from under him. Aki did not let go “ how would I know your telling the truth “ I alredy lost” angel wispered as he dug his nose into his chest. Smelling in the stench of smoke and blood. “ why did you lose?” I love you “ how is that losing , it’s no secret I love you to “ angel shook his head “ I’m going to kill you “ why ?” Because I love you “ aki patted down angel vermilion hair. He was glad he wore his gloves today. “ that would be ok , you being the one to kill me “ angel shook his head “ not for me, I would only hate myself more if I were to kill you. If I were to take you out of the world like so many others “ I’m sorry that you are the one I would be fine with ending me “ aki whispered smelling the strawberry and vinnila sent that coted angel. “ I’m selfish “ angel said “ me too “
The drive back to akis apartment was silent. No sound was made. But aki had never let go of angel. Angel wanted to yell at him hill get hurt but he alredy assumed aki knew that. He knows Angel will kill him. And humans are selfish so he continues to touch angel. And devils are juts as selfish , so he allows it.
Akis bed smelled like smoke. Everting of aki smelled like smoke. Angel barrier his head into akis pillow. Smoke.
Angel wings spred out on the right side. So aki took the left. He did not care if he were to touch Angel. The death would be worth it.
They stayed there in silence. The only thang keeping them steady was bathing in one another present. The week of separation had seem to make the hart grow stronger. Angel had snuggled his way into akis chest .allowing akis arms to rap around him and hold him tight. To never let him go. To never feel alone agin.
“ let’s make a contract “ I’ve never done it befor “ you’ll know what to do “ aki said running his gloved hands threw his hair “ what do you want ?” Angel asked “ to touch you without getting hurt ,what do you want? “ angel shrugged , he wanted to say the same thang. But that’s not how thangs work. “ how about I’ll be yours , you can tell me what to do , I’ll have to buy you Ice cream whenever you want. And let you take as many brakes as you want , even when we’re in the middle of work. I’ll even never let you go if that’s what you want. Or I could never touch you agin “ angel sook his head “ I’ll never ask you to never touch me agin. “ good “
When the contract was made. Angel did not want to try it out. What if it didn’t work? What if it backfired? He was thrown in panic mode as he thought of all the bad thangs that could happend from touching. He decided to not touch aki. But aki was an asshole and a selfish man. So as soon as he belived the contract had been completed he kissed angel. No hesitations , no fear , no holding himself back. He didn’t ask if his life had been drained. He just kissed Angel till there lips tingles and they had to breathe. “ do you want to know if it worked “ aki shook his head “ it doesn’t matter , even if it had not worked I will continue to kiss you till my last breath “ angel didn’t get a Chance to tell him it worked. Aki kissed him anyway.
Aki kept to his word. He never let Angel go after that. He kissed angel any chance he got. He held angels hand when no protection was on. Aki also bought angel ice cream whenever he wanted. But he always asked for a kiss in return. Angel thanks that’s not correct with how the contract is set up. But Angel had come to adore the kisses. He wondered if there his cigarettest like aki. But Angel thangs aki likes his kisses better then cigarettes.
“ how come you’ve never made a contract before? “ aki had asked one day. They were laying in his bed. Not a layer of Anyting separating them. It took a vary long time for angel to get used to so much skin to skin. He fear the contract would disappear in an instant and aki would die in angel arms. But slowly he started to become ok with it. He loved it even. He still fears of the unthankbull. But he would never give up the feeling of akis hands on angels bare skin. Angel shrugged “ didn’t want to bother whith it “ but you want to bother it with me “ aki asked confidents rising as he gave that boyish stupid smerk. Angel rolled his eyes. “ your stupid “ angel wispered rubbing his nose in the crook of akis neck. “ I love you “ aki whispered into angel hair. Angel would of said it back. But he was much to tired and sleep came much to fast. But Angel guesses aki knows.
