Summary
It strikes Butters then, like a bolt of lighting, how similar they both were. Kevin and Kenny wore the expression of pain all the same. The way their eyebrows crease, how harsh they frown, the sorrow in their blue eyes. Once they shed their armors, Butters could truly see who Kevin is. The same way he saw who Kenny was the first time he cried in front of him.
A lonely child.
“Then comfort me.” Kevin whispers. They were words of a demand, but the way he said it made it sound like a plea. “Comfort me like how you comforted him.”
Or: What Kenny’s McCormick’s death brought forth.
