"You're the one who always disappears," Akali says, eyes sweeping up to pin Evelynn with a look and it's dark. It's dark and dilated and it licks across Evelynn's skin like a spotlight. "So tell me to leave. Tell me to leave and I will."
Evelynn can't, she doesn't want to, not when everything's pointing to Akali wanting this as much as she does. She can't do that, why on earth would she even want to?
(She wholly ignores the little voice at the back of her head warning her that she might get hurt if this ends up being just about spending their cycles together, puts it in a box in the recesses of her consciousness, and throws away the key.
That's a problem for future Evelynn, and she's just so good at ignoring her problems.)
"I don't want you to leave," she says, breath hitching in anticipation when Akali's eyelashes flutter. "I can't ask that."

Evelynn has been spending her heat alone ever since she met Akali. This one is supposed to be no different. Ahri and Kai'sa are on vacation, Akali's an entire ocean away, and Evelynn has the K/DA house to herself — until Akali comes home early and completely fucks up her plans.
