Daisy Buchanan beats the living crap out of Tom

Summary:

Exactly what it says on the tin; Daisy had enough of Tom and Jordan watches on, sipping some wine.

Notes:

Would Daisy be able to beat Tom that brutally in canon? Probably not but I wanted to see such scene, so I wrote it lmao

Work Text:

Daisy, Tom, and Jordan all sat together at the marble table. Over the years, Daisy forced herself to endure the hulking brute that was Tom as she married him in the hopes of staying afloat and comfortable in a man-dominated society. She had to put up with his constant and obvious infidelity, white-supremacist rants and his heated arguments towards her where he'll sometimes hit her. Today seems to be exceptionally tense. Daisy's hands shake as she tries holding her cup of coffee while Tom rambles on about how much he wants to relive his college football games for the sake of maintaining his (toxic) masculinity or something and Jordan apathetically listens to him.

And that was when Daisy snapped.

She threw her coffee cup at Tom, where it shattered upon impact and the spilled liquid burned his face. As Tom yelped in pain, Daisy stood up hastily and stared him dead in the eye.

"I had enough of you, Tom," Daisy didn't yell but the anger was very clear in her voice. "You sit around and do nothing but sleep around with other women and talk about those stupid books about how white people are going to be overthrown by people of color. And when you're not doing those things, you don't even treat me well as a wife."

Before Tom could respond, Daisy rushed towards him and sucker-punched him right in the face. Despite his larger muscular body being at least a head taller than Daisy, Tom was knocked off his chair and crashed on the floor, losing a tooth in the process.

Daisy may be slender as a stick and may have never participated in the same physical activities that Tom did but her fists had the determination of steel.

Jordan watched on, completely not expecting this outcome but she was intrigued. If she had popcorn on her, she would've been eating it right away as she watched, but she'll settle with that glass of wine she had on her.

Daisy picked up the chair that Tom was seated in and started slamming it onto him.

"I don't even think that you truly loved me!" Daisy's voice rose as she kept on hitting Tom with his chair. "Sure you may have loved having me around, but that's not the same as a sincere love for a person!"

The brute force increased with each strike from the chair. Tom was all cradled up on his knees, sobbing immensely.

"If you did really love me, you wouldn't be hooking up with that Myrtle or any other women! You would've been there for me when I needed it, like when I birthed Pammy!"

The final strike straight up broke the chair but that didn't stop Daisy. She picked up two of the separated legs and pounded them onto Tom's face. When she was done, she threw away the legs to the side and Tom's face was now all puffed up, being covered in several large bruises and black eyes.

She then kicked Tom over so he could be laying on his back and slammed her foot on his groin. It would've hurt enough by default, but what worsened matters was that she was wearing heels.

Tom screeched so loudly that everyone on his massive lawn would've heard it. His chances of producing another child or satisfying a woman were now very low.

One of Pammy's nurses came to check on the scene where she would find Daisy began kicking Tom senselessly.

"What's going on?" Pammy happened to be behind the nurse, unaware of the beating her father was receiving from her mother.

The nurse glanced at the child and awkwardly chuckled to herself.

"L-Let's go outside for a moment… Your mother and father are having a, um, disagreement, at the moment."

The nurse escorted Pammy in her arms and decked out of there.

Meanwhile, Jordan casually sipped her wine as she surveyed the fight. She was amused this whole time, muttering to herself that Tom deserved it for how he treated Daisy and how overall unpleasant he was. Then an ingenious idea came to her.

"Daisy, dear, may I join?" She asked slyly.

Daisy glanced at her with a smile.

"Of course!"

Jordan smirked and slowly got up from the table and walked over to Tom where she joined in the kicking with Daisy. They kicked the defenseless Tom for several minutes until they wore out their feet.

When they were done, Tom was wailing and positioned himself in a troubled fetal position. His bloodied body was covered in all sorts of wounds and bruises with how merciless Daisy was (and with some help from Jordan too).

Daisy spat on Tom and made mutual glances with Jordan.

"Heh, that was lovely. At this point, though, you should probably divorce him," Jordan remarked.

"Oh well, I much rather be a poor woman than someone stuck with that bastard," Daisy said. "Let's go get Pammy and move. Hopefully we can still take some of his stuff along the way."
