   Summary

   David Martinez was once an outcast student at Arasaka Academy, told that he would amount to nothing, that the corporate world would reject him. Through guile, cunning and not an insignificant amount of scheming and backstabbing, he climbed his way up the ranks of Arasaka's Counter-Intelligence division.

   One day, he finds himself with what appears to be a simple assignment; arranging the capture of a former Arasaka trainee, in hopes that the corporation can re-establish a rapport and open a path to bring back the trainee, a young woman known as 'Lucy', into the folds of the corporation once more.

   However, as David delves deeper into the woman's past, he begins to question whether he was told the whole truth, and as his feelings for Lucy grow, he wonders if he hadn't made a terrible mistake in bringing Lucy back to Arasaka...
