Yasha sighed quietly as she stepped into the hallway. Having successfully put the kids to bed she makes her way to the kitchen for a cup of tea.
She doesn't get that far.
Out of the corner of her eye she sees something that draws her attention.
Her stomach drops as she moves to look out the window.
There, in the distance, she sees Ruidus. A red beam coming straight down from it.
Yasha rushes into their bedroom and grabs the sending stone that Caleb left for her.
"Essek? Um, it's Yasha. I think something went very wrong."
"I see it. I am on my way. You may need to find a sitter."
"Okay."
Yasha sets the stone down as she looks to the red moon once more.
"I'm coming babe. Please don't die."
