A Cloud For You

Summary:

The USJ is over and Shōta lays there waiting for his husband and daughter to show up before he makes the decision to toss himself out the window as a form of hospital discharge. Shōta, Oboro, and their daughter Kasumi decide to expand their family and adopt Hitoshi but not without Hitoshi claiming Izuku as his future brother-in-law where Shōta struggles a bit at keeping his papa bear mode dialed back.

Work Text:

The USJ is over and Shōta is laying in his hospital bed just wanting to go home as the smell of that slimy portal still in his nose mixed with the hospital air is making him nauseous. His husband and daughter need to hurry up and get to Musutafa General so they can get him out of this hellhole or he's going to take drastic measures and jump out the window to freedom. He tries to look over at the door as it slides open but he can't move his head at the moment.

"Damn, you look like a mummy all wrapped up like that, dad," Kasumi, a dark eyed girl with sky blue hair that he loves more than life itself, giggles as she comes into his line of sight.

"Wow, thank you so much for your two cents, little cloud, I appreciate that," Shōta deadpans and she giggles some more. "Where's your daddy at?"

"Talking to the doctors and nurses about letting you go home so you don't Deadpool throw yourself out the window like you're immune to death," Kasumi answers and Shōta snorts out a laugh despite it hurting his face and chest.

"You know me so well," Shōta says and he can almost see her rolling her eyes at him.

"No you're just dumb and predictable," Kasumi states and he scoffs in offense.

"I am not," Shōta argues.

"Yes you are, kitty cat, you're a dumbass who doesn't know how to take care of himself," Oboro says as he enters the hospital room.

"Rude, I'm an injured person here dammit," Shōta says. "Anyways, are my students okay?"

"Zashi says that they are. The only one who got kinda hurt was a boy called Midoriya," Oboro answers. "If villains are going to start attacking UA, I think it'd be best for you to join us at Shiketsu, Shō."

"Absolutely not. I'm not about to leave my students behind after our class got attacked by a huge ass group of villains," Shōta states his refusal.

"And I'd rather not lose my husband and father of our freaking child, Shōta," Oboro argues, visibly becoming upset by the matter.

"You're not going to lose me, love cloud. I highly doubt it'll happen again. The bratty ass villain was after All Might. Me, Thirteen and my class were just in the wrong place at the wrong time," Shōta says as he tries to raise his hand to touch his husband's face but he's too wrapped up to move it very high.

"Then maybe All Might needs to leave UA. If he's going to be a villain magnet, he needs to go before he puts all of UA into danger," Kasumi says and Shōta sighs heavily.

"The school board wants him there for publicity," Shōta explains.

"Are they really going to prioritize publicity over safety?" Oboro asks.

"Nezu is having a meeting with them right now so maybe they'll remove him. I hope they do though," Shōta says as Kasumi and Oboro lean down to give Shōta a hug.

Class 1-A was all heading to Shōta's hospital room to visit him when they spotted Pro-Hero Loud Cloud and a girl their age wearing a Shiketsu uniform that bore a resemblance to both their teacher and Loud Cloud. They kept their distance as they eavesdropped on the conversation.

"Sir, we really can't just release your husband. He's taken quite a lot of damage due to the villain attack," the doctor protests.

"And I'm telling you that he's stupid enough to discharge himself without permission and will jump out the damn window just to go home," Loud Cloud argues with the man.

"I'm gonna go see if dad's awake yet, daddy," the girl informs the Pro.

"Okay, you go do that, Kasumi, I need to get it through this doctor's skull that your dad is a dumbass who doesn't care about his own well-being," Loud Cloud says and the girl giggles as she walks away. She goes straight to their sensei's room and enters.

Class A all stared at one another in shock at learning that their teacher not only has a kid their age but is also married to Pro-Hero Loud Cloud. They ducked behind the wall as the Pro finished speaking to the doctor and started walking up the hallway to their teacher's hospital room. Once the man was in the room they got closer so they could listen in on their conversation. They listened with concern as it was obvious that Loud Cloud and Kasumi are both worried about Shōta staying at UA while All Might is there teaching. They didn't want to lose their teacher so they silently made a plan to talk to All Might about him leaving UA as it may just be safer given what had happened today. Midoriya secretly texted All Might informing him that being at UA is dangerous and that they could have training sessions together off campus so the students and staff remain safe. They perked up a bit when they heard giggling.

"Dad stop, you're not about to get up like the Mummy of Ankha and leave yet," Kasumi giggles.

"He needs his coin though so he can get his scarab," Oboro joins in on the teasing while laughing.

"And some liverwurst and ice cream with his kooky looking quarter piece," Kasumi laughs and Oboro laughs harder.

"Really? Are you two seriously going to pick on me right now?" Shōta grumbles at them.

"Yes, have you seen yourself, Shō?" Oboro laughs.

"Making fun of me when I could very well be dead right now," Shōta points out.

"You've Frenched Death so many times, dad. I'm pretty well convinced that you're unkillable," Kasumi states.

"You need to work on your grammar," Shōta says.

"Shush, don't be a grammar nazi, let me be stupid, like you," Kasumi laughs with Oboro starting to laugh again as well.

"You're making me question my life choices here," Shōta grumbles.

"Oop! That's one marked off my bucket list, 'make dad question his life choices'," Kasumi giggles.

"Why do you do shit like this?" Shōta asks in annoyance.

"Cause it's funny," Kasumi answers while still giggling.

"Too much like your daddy," Shōta states. "Need a second child that's like me."

"I've been on T for too long now, Shō. We'd have to adopt if you're being serious about that," Oboro says and the Class A's mouths all drop open at learning that.

"Oh yes, being an only child is boring, I need a sibling," Kasumi says in agreement.

"There is a boy in 1-C over at UA that's in the system. I could see where he's being fostered and we can all go meet him to see if he'd be a fit. I do know that he's quiet during classes and doesn't talk much during free time. Keeps to himself," Shōta informs them.

"He sounds like a teenage you," Oboro points out.

"Yeah and he looks almost like a purple version of me," Shōta says while smirking through his bandages.

"Hell yeah, a brother," Kasumi giggles. "I hope he'd be willing to handle my nonsense."

"Maybe. You just better be glad that I tolerate both of you and your nonsense," Shōta states.

"You hear that, little cloud? Your father 'tolerates' us. You had no issue with me when we were in high school and knocked me up at sixteen years old," Oboro teases while Kasumi giggles.

"If I remember correctly, you came onto me and dragged me into a bathroom stall during lunch period," Shōta states. "Rode me like your life depended on it."

Class A are all staring at the door with the most shocked expressions that they could all muster as Kasumi makes a disgusted sound, "Ugh! Gross! I was conceived in a bathroom stall while y'all were at school?!"

"Yes and that's why you're a little shit," Shōta answers while he and Oboro both laugh at her dramatics.

"Y'all are nasty! That's how you catch things! Bathrooms are cesspools! Could have at least gone into a broom closet or something!" Kasumi states.

"Nah, Zashi already had a girl in the broom closet and we weren't about to make it an orgy," Oboro laughs as Kasumi scoffs.

"Y'all are so damn gross. School is for education not fornication," Kasumi scolds them.

"There it is. See, Shō? She's like you as well," Oboro teases while giggling.

Shōta is released later that evening and just relaxes on the couch as Kasumi flips through the channels to find him something to watch. She places it on the news as it's Nezu holding a press conference about the USJ and the steps that UA are taking to improve security and one of those things being that All Might resigned and he sighs heavily in relief at hearing that. He hums softly as he becomes the middle of a cuddle sandwich and just relaxes further as his husband and daughter cuddle him.

Shōta is so glad that Nezu pushed the Sports Festival back a couple of weeks as they all work on the security system. While they all wait for that, he starts training up his class during Heroics. The day his bandages come off, he calls Hitoshi to the teacher's lounge during study period. He feels a bit bad as the boy looks extremely nervous and as if he's in trouble.

"Hi Shinsou, go ahead and take a seat. You're not in trouble or anything, I promise," Shōta says as he gestures to the chair in front of his desk and the boy sits down with a look of confusion on his face.

"Um. Okay. If I'm not in trouble, I'm here for a different reason," Hitoshi states and Shōta found that a bit odd.

"Yes. Me and my husband have been doing some talking and we're looking to adopt. So we're wondering if you'd like to meet him and our daughter to see if you'd like to be part of our family," Shōta explains to him and he watches as Hitoshi's eyes widen in shock.

"I mean, I'd definitely like that. I just don't know if the foster family that I'm staying with would go for that though. They always turn everyone down when someone wants to meet one of us kids," Hitoshi informs him.

"Then me and my husband can just abuse our powers as Pro-Heroes a bit. Oboro and Kasumi are scary when they're pissed, especially Kasumi," Shōta says with a bit of a smirk as the staff all snort out some laughter.

"That's the understatement of the century, Shō. She's scarier than the scariest villain when she's angry. Must be in the DNA since Oboro gets scary like that too but with her quirk, it makes her scarier than him," Hizashi says while chuckling. "Remember when Enji thought it'd be a good idea for her and Shōto to have a playdate and she lost it when he accidentally roasted her little toy horse?"

Shōta just snorts while smiling fondly, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure Oboro or Rei caught it all on camera cause that was when her quirk first manifested and I missed it cause I was on a mission. I would have been laughing my ass off the whole time. I'll have to ask Shōto if he still has nightmares."

"That's messed up, Shō," Vlad laughs. "You might make him remember something that he was hoping to forget about."

"Yeah yeah. Anyways, what do you say, Shinsou? Would you like to meet them and see if you'd be a fit?" Shōta asks him and Hitoshi quickly nods his head. "Alright, I'll call your fosters and case worker and schedule a meet up for this weekend."

The weekend is on the Aizawa family quickly and they meet Hitoshi's social worker at the foster parent's home as she wants to perform a surprise visit after Shōta had told her what Hitoshi had told him about them always turning families away and how when he was on the phone with them, they tried to turn him away as well until he mentioned them being Pro-Heroes. They walk up the pathway to the home and the social worker is the one who knocks on the door. Hitoshi's foster father opens the door with a scowl on his face until he sees the social worker and plasters on the fakest smile the family has ever seen in their lives.

He invites them in and they visibly see Hitoshi sighing in relief when he sees them. "Hi Hitoshi, how are you doing today?" Shōta asks him with a small smile.

"I'm okay, Aizawa-Sensei," Hitoshi answers softly, then they all startle when Kasumi cuts Hitoshi's foster father's path off.

"Move it, little girl, that boy knows better than to speak," the man growls out. "A villainous child like him isn't allowed to speak."

"My father asked him a question and he answered, simple. If you have a problem with it, I can show you how villainous someone can be," Kasumi growls back before a cloud pops up in her face.

"No you will not. You're going to keep your hands and quirk to yourself. If you get in trouble we will not help you get the point on your license removed, do you understand?" Oboro states firmly and there's a muffled 'yes' before the cloud disappears. "Sir, I apologize for our daughter's behavior but we do want Hitoshi to speak to us, how else would we get to know him if he doesn't talk to us?"

"He'll just brainwash you and manipulate you into doing what he wants," the man informs him. "His quirk is a call and response called Brainwashing."

"That's not how my quirk works and you know that. I can't manipulate someone's mind, I can only give orders until my hold breaks," Hitoshi says in defense then flinches back when the man steps closer to him in a threatening manner.

Everyone in the room feels their quirks vanish as a thin black mist floats around the room. "If you're that against his quirk, there, now everyone is temporarily quirkless. Even ground, he can speak freely without having to worry about you possibly doing something physical to him given his reaction to you getting closer to him," Kasumi states as her hair is now a deep gray appearance while her eyes are glowing a bright yellow.

The man scoffs at her, "I see. So you two Pros just like going around adopting kids with villainous quirks."

"Correction, she's our biological daughter. We had her when we were teens," Shōta corrects him and Hitoshi's mouth drops open slightly in shock.

"How? You're both men," the man asks in disbelief.

"I'm female to male, I wasn't on T yet when I got pregnant with her," Oboro answers and the man pulls a disgusted face as Hitoshi's shock deepens.

Hitoshi's foster father turns to the social worker with an angry look on his face, "You're seriously not going to let them adopt a kid are you?"

"Since Hitoshi is fifteen years old, the decision is technically up to him since he is within the legal age of making that decision for himself," the social worker answers. "Pro-Hero Loud Cloud and Pro-Hero Eraserhead are both well loved and trusted Pro-Heroes as they are both high school teachers. Eraserhead teaches at UA and Loud Cloud teaches at Shiketsu so in my honest opinion, I believe that they'd make fantastic parents for Hitoshi. Let them speak to him freely and if you interfere, I will strip you and your wife of your fostering licenses and remove the children in your care from your home."

The man scoffs and storms off before slamming a door. Kasumi releases her quirk as the family all take a seat so they can speak with Hitoshi. "Hiya, I'm Kasumi. It's nice to meet you, my dad wasn't lying when he said that you almost look like a purple version of him," Kasumi introduces herself in excitement as she wiggles closer to him.

Hitoshi blushes a bit at her excited energy; he's not used to someone being excited about meeting him, "I'm Hitoshi, it's nice to meet you too."

"And I'm Oboro, feel free to call me whatever you wish and ask us whatever questions you want to ask us," Oboro says with a soft smile.

"Oh um.. okay. Why.. What made you two want to adopt a kid?" Hitoshi asks them.

"Well, I can't exactly have children anymore due to being on hormones for so long and after UA had that little USJ incident, Shō mentioned wanting another kid that'd be more like him as Kasumi is more like me. Some balance in the house ya know. But it kinda started as a joke cause we were picking on him looking like a mummy then we really started talking about it seriously so yeah now we're here meeting you," Oboro explains to him with a soft smile on his face.

Hitoshi nods his head and stares at Kasumi for a moment then asks her a question, "I've never seen you at school before. Are you a second or a third year?'

"Oh no, I'm a first year, I just go to Shiketsu. Their Entrance Exam was more in my favor since UA does that robot shit. I could destroy a bot but opening so many different portals would've caused me to develop quirk exhaustion since I haven't worked on my quirk in that manner very much. It was easier to just go against one of the proctors at Shiketsu," Kasumi explains to him.

"I wish I would have known that before I tried to enroll into UA's Hero Course. Would have made my life easier," Hitoshi says with a slight pout.

"You can still get into the Hero Course if that's what you want to do, Hitoshi. I can start training you so that you can catch up to the rest of Class A then transfer you in," Shōta offers him. "That's how I got into the Hero Course, I started off in Gen Ed then transferred out when I won the first year Sports Festival."

"Really? You'd help me with that?" Hitoshi asks in shock.

"Of course. Part of being a Legacy Child is learning Heroics from their parents, that is if you want us to adopt you. Even if you decide not to, I'll still train you up and stuff. Heroics is a good career," Shōta answers and Hitoshi nods his head sheepishly.

Hitoshi fidgets nervously as he stares at the three of them, he does like them and they're very nice. Part of him wants to say yes just because of that and the other part wants to say yes because then that means freedom; so either way, he wants to go with them, "I um.. I think I'd like to go with you guys. You all are very nice." He tenses up for a moment as Oboro and Kasumi both hug him then he just melts into it as it's been so long since he's been given any form of affection.

Shōta watches with a fond smile on his face, he feels that adopting Hitoshi is a good decision. The boy would be happier in their home, Kasumi would have a sibling, and he and Oboro get their second child without risking Oboro's health, mental and physical wise. "Why not let Kasumi help you pack while me and Oboro fill out the paperwork and stuff, yeah?"

Hitoshi nods his head then startles as Kasumi grabs a hold of his hand before leading her to his shared room with another boy. The social worker gets all the paperwork out for the two to fill out and they cut her a check as well. Shōta tries not to laugh about Kasumi being all up in Hitoshi's business but he can't help it. He can tell that Hitoshi doesn't know what to make of her but just accepts it as it is and he sees that as a good thing.

On the way home, Kasumi is talking Hitoshi's ears off and Shōta can't help the smile on his face and sees that Oboro has the same smile as well. They've already gotten a bedroom set up for Hitoshi, they'll just have to take him shopping later so he can set it up how he wants. They arrive home and Shōta wants to groan when he sees Yoarashi standing there with a goofy smile on his face. He hears Kasumi groan in exasperation as soon as she sees him.

"Looks like your giant ass boyfriend is here to see you, little cloud," Oboro teases.

"He's not my damn boyfriend, daddy, he's a simp and he needs to leave me the hell alone before I portal his ass to Antarctica," Kasumi says in annoyance and Hitoshi can't help the giggle that escapes.

"A simp?" Hitoshi asks her.

"Yes. He's convinced that if he's a 'good boy' that I'd be inclined to date him. He's not my type, he's a giant cockroach. You think you've squashed him but he just comes flying back at you like a six-legged winged terror," Kasumi answers and the three others just lose it and start laughing as she glares at them before getting out of the car to shoo him away.

"I think that's the best thing I've ever heard in my life. I might just start calling my annoying classmates that when they won't leave me alone," Hitoshi giggles.

Shōta starts laughing, "I think imma use it as well and call Hizashi and my class that cause they won't leave me alone."

"Awww! Now I'm really going to tease her!" Oboro coos while giggling and the other two look at what he's seeing.

Shōta definitely doesn't know how he feels at seeing the very much done look on Kasumi's face as Yoarashi hugs her closely.

"She looks like she's just straight up done with his shit," Hitoshi points out. "I don't think teasing her about it would be a very good idea, might make her think that you think that his behavior is okay when she's clearly not okay with it. Pretty sure she's at that age where things like that leave lasting scars."

Shōta sees the look that appears on Oboro's face and it's obvious to him that he didn't think about that as being a repercussion. "I.. I didn't think about that. I'm going to have to make up for all the teasing that I've been doing to her. Oh, I've been hurting my poor baby without meaning to," Oboro says as he starts tearing up.

"It's okay, love cloud, just go and shoo Yoarashi away since he's obviously not going to listen to her. That could be a good first step to showing her that you're on her side," Shōta suggests and Oboro quickly nods his head before getting out of the car to go and rescue Kasumi. Shōta turns off the car and looks at Hitoshi, "Come on, kiddo, let's get your stuff out of the car and you can start setting up your room with the stuff you already have for now until we take you shopping later on."

"I get my own room?" Hitoshi asks in bewilderment.

"Yes, you're a teen boy and you need your space, just like Kasumi being a teen girl and needing her own space as well," Shōta answers before getting out of the car. The two start getting Hitoshi's things out of the car and they watch Yoarashi leave with a broken look on his face. He looks over at Kasumi and sees that she has a sad look on her face as well and he's confused by that. "Why do you look sad?"

"Because he's a good guy he just needs to stop being so.. all up on me thinking that I'm going to like him if he's all lovey with me. If he'd just act like himself instead of a simp, I'd be more inclined to get to know him better. He's still not my type but I wouldn't mind having him as a friend or maybe a hero partner," Kasumi explains.

"Really?!" Yoarashi says loudly as he's back up into her face with an excited look on his own face.

"Yes. I'd be willing to be friends with you, Inasa. I wouldn't date you but I'd like for us to be friends if you'd stop just.. getting up in my face like this and being all touchy feely when I don't want to be touched," Kasumi answers and he quickly backs up while nodding his head. "And stop being a damn simp, shit. You don't need to roll over like a damn dog to me, just be yourself."

Yoarashi nods his head in understanding, "Okay. I can do that. I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Well yeah since we have school tomorrow ya ding dong," Kasumi says with a snort.

"Okay! Bye, Kasumi!" Yoarashi says loudly before he takes off again.

"Is he always that loud?" Hitoshi asks as soon as Yoarashi is out of sight.

"Unfortunately," Shōta grumbles.

"He thinks because he's a giant that he needs to be loud and boisterous," Kasumi says with an eye roll. "I also think he's like that cause he's hard of hearing because of his quirk but I don't think he's ever been tested for that."

"How would his quirk make him hard of hearing?" Hitoshi asks.

"His quirk is called Whirlwind. So all the noise from the wind his quirk makes has more than likely taken a toll on his hearing," Oboro explains to him as they all help gather Hitoshi's stuff to take inside.

Kasumi helps Hitoshi get settled in his new room as Shōta and Oboro work on cooking dinner for all of them. After they eat, Shōta is sitting at the table making training routines for his class so that he can get the most into them before the Sports Festival. "Oh that's cool, dad, you have like a super late bloomer in your class. Got his quirk the day of the Entrance Exam," Kasumi states as she's nosing through the student files.

"What? What student?" Shōta asks in confusion then shrinks away a bit as Oboro gives him a glare.

"Really, Shō? You're still not reading your student files properly?" Oboro asks in a scolding manner.

"I don't like being biased," Shōta says in defense. "Now which student?"

"Izuku Midoriya," Kasumi chirps as she continues looking through the boy's file as a look of guilt appears on Shōta's face.

"Oh no, kitty cat, were you hard on this boy during your Q.A.T?" Oboro asks him with a sad expression and Shōta nods his head. "Then you might want to think of a good apology for him because that wasn't very nice of you, Shōta. Let this be a lesson to you to read everyone's files properly."

"Yeah I will," Shōta says as he rubs the back of his neck in shame, then notices the look on Kasumi's face as she's still reading the boy's file. "What's the matter?"

"This doesn't make sense. Like, his quirk is registered as a late bloomer but he has a full blown quirkless diagnosis here; extra teeth, joints and organs. With this quirk description, there's absolutely no way that he's a false negative because a false negative wouldn't have a quirk with this amount of power behind it because it would have made its appearance a lot sooner than age fifteen. With the power and with the time in which it manifested, I'd say that he went through a forced manifestation. I'm honestly surprised that his limbs and shit didn't fly off his damn torso and kill him," Kasumi explains as she sets the file on the table and points to everything she's reading as everyone looks over the file themselves.

Shōta quickly grabs his laptop and everyone gathers around it as he pulls up the footage of Midoriya taking out the Zero Pointer. They see him trying to set Uraraka free before his quirk activates and three of his limbs are completely destroyed.

"Um.. I don't think it'd be very safe for him to participate in the Sports Festival, Shō. That definitely looked like a forced manifestation because of how desperate he was to try and save that girl. It's only been a month, I highly doubt he has any control over that quirk," Oboro states his concern about Midoriya.

"Yeah dad, he might end up really hurting himself or others. If the Pros see him destroying himself, he's not going to get any offers for work studies. He'd be a liability if they were to patrol and he hurt himself to the point of immobility," Kasumi says softly.

"Don't you need to go through a lot more stress and stuff for a forced manifestation to happen? What if he's not safe at home or something and his desperation was his tipping point?" Hitoshi points out and they all pale a bit.

"I don't have enough proof to warrant a home visit. He looks well fed and I've never seen any injuries on him that aren't from him using his quirk so I'm not sure," Shōta says with a sigh.

"Well, there's a good chance that he was bullied mercilessly," Kasumi points out. "He's been quirkless for fifteen years. The statistics for quirkless people his age aren't very good. Most don't make it to adulthood. I'm honestly surprised he's still alive or not on a missing person's poster from trafficking or something of that nature."

"I can always put in an offer for him and help him with his quirk since that's literally my job. He and Kasumi can do some training together since she's still working on making more portals," Oboro offers out.

"Since you're going to help me train at UA, maybe you can invite him for after school training and me and him can work together too," Hitoshi suggests to Shōta.

He sighs softly as he thinks about it, "I mean yeah, it definitely wouldn't hurt him if he starts working on his quirk control. He's gotten pretty good at isolating it to his fingers so he's been using the air pressure created from him flicking as a weapon. It breaks his fingers but at least its not his arms and legs."

"He's going to end up fucking up his hands way before he's thirty if he keeps doing that," Oboro says in disapproval.

The next day, Shōta calls Izuku into the teachers' lounge before the school day is to start. He can tell that there's something very wrong with the boy as he looks beyond exhausted and as if he had been crying. "Midoriya, are you alright?" Shōta asks him in concern and Hitoshi stirs a bit from behind his desk as the boy has hijacked his sleeping bag and is snuggled up in it; he'll have to get the boy his own later in the week.

"Oh um.. My mom is just really sick and she made a steep decline last night so she's in a coma right now. I've been trying to get a hold of my dad but he's not answering his phone and he really needs to come home because if she falls any further, she's going to be on life support. I legally won't be able to do anything for her because of him, if she goes brain dead, I can't legally make the decision to pull the plug. They'd need his permission. I just.. I just feel bad because I wasn't there in time before she declined so I didn't get a chance to speak to her," Izuku sniffles softly and Shōta's heart breaks for the boy and he can tell that Hitoshi feels bad for him too.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Izuku. I'm also sorry for the beginning of the year when I got onto you about your quirk. I thought you were just a cocksure brat who didn't feel the need to train their quirk up. I didn't realize that you were a late bloomer so I'm sorry," Shōta says to him softly and Izuku stares at him in shock.

"You're.. You're actually apologizing to me?" Izuku says in confusion.

"Yes? Why do you seem confused by that?" Shōta asks him.

"Because no one has ever apologized to me before. Not even All Might when he…," Izuku says before trailing off and looking away.

"When he what?" Shōta prompts.

"When he told me that I couldn't be a hero without a quirk," Izuku says so softly that it's almost a whisper.

"Well he's full of shit. If I can be a Pro-Hero then you could be too. You don't need a quirk to save someone. Does it make the job a lot easier? Yes, yes it does but you don't need a quirk to do the right thing," Shōta tells him and Izuku visibly relaxes at his words as he stares at him with a soft expression.

"Kinda wish that you were the Hero that saved me from the villain that day then. Would have saved me a lot of heartache and you know, just learning to accept those words and moving on with life," Izuku says softly. "But um, why'd you call me in here, Sensei?"

"To apologize to you about the beginning of the year. My daughter pointed out your quirk details to me last night cause she was being nosey and reading your file. But let's rewind and go back to your mother being ill. If she declines further, what will your next steps be?" Shōta asks him and Izuku sighs heavily.

"I have no idea. My father has no legal rights over me since he physically signed them away which is why I have my mom's maiden name but my parents' divorce was never fully finalized cause he just.. up and left. I might just have to go to Detective Tsukauchi and see if he could help me. That's really the only thing I can think of as far as you know… not letting my mother be a brain dead vegetable. As far as a home, All Might offered to adopt me but it wouldn't be safe because of who he is. Me being his 'successor' is enough to make myself a damn target. I honestly.. I honestly kinda just want to be quirkless again but I want to at least try to make this quirk my own. Just need to figure out how to make it work for me."

"Well that kinda brings me to the next matter of business," Shōta says and Izuku stares at him with his brows knit together a bit. "So, I don't think it'd be healthy or safe for you to participate in the Sports Festival," Shōta holds up his hand as Izuku opens his mouth to protest. "But I'm offering to give you after school training to help you with your quirk and my husband has offered to have you do work studies with him since his job over at Shiketsu is quirk counseling. He's seen all kinds of quirks coming and going for a long time, I bet he could help you figure your quirk out."

"Really? You guys would help me like that?" Izuku asks.

"Of course. We're teachers who teach students how to become heroes, it's our jobs and we have no issue with taking blocks of time out at the end of the day to help you," Shōta answers and Izuku gives him a wobbly smile.

"Thank you, Sensei, I really appreciate it. Maybe you and your husband will actually be able to help me instead of just yelling at me to try harder," Izuku says softly.

"I'm assuming you're meaning All Might?" Shōta guesses and Izuku nods his head. "What's he been telling you to do in order to help you figure out your quirk?"

"Well the main thing would be squeezing my asscheeks together and yelling smash," Izuku answers honestly and Hitoshi snorts out a laugh as Shōta sighs in exasperation.

Hitoshi finally peeks over the desk to look at Izuku while giggling, "Have your asscheeks at least gotten more definition to them from doing that?"

"Not really but my thighs and calves look great," Izuku giggles as Hitoshi laughs harder.

"Must not be squeezing hard enough cause have you seen All Might's? Surprised that he hasn't been ticketed from carrying an oversized load," Hitoshi laughs and that gets Izuku laughing some more.

Shōta stares at Hitoshi with an odd look on his face, "Why are you looking at his ass?"

"Who hasn't looked? When you're as large as a guy like that while wearing a skin-tight suit it shows off all the assets and you can't help but to look," Hitoshi answers honestly and Shōta just shakes his head as Izuku giggles some more.

"Hasn't even been twenty-four hours and they've already corrupted you and led you to the dark side," Shōta says in faux sadness and Izuku now has a confused look on his face as Hitoshi shakes his head.

"No, I just saw an opportunity for some joking and took it," Hitoshi defends himself.

Shōta pats his head with a small smile on his face, "I know, I'm just teasing you. I'm not as good at it as Oboro and Kasumi but I try."

"Ooh, so you guys did the adoption thing you were talking about doing in the hospital that day," Izuku says then slaps his hands over his mouth as Shōta stares at him with a shocked expression.

"You eavesdropped on my family's conversation?" Shōta asks.

"Well, the whole class did cause we were coming to visit you but your family beat us there. I um, I may or may not have gotten into a huge fight with All Might about telling him that he should leave UA so that you could stay our teacher since it sounded like Loud Cloud was serious about taking you to Shiketsu," Izuku admits sheepishly and Shōta sighs heavily. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine but you all should know better. The life of an Underground is supposed to be on the downlow unless they want you to know," Shōta says softly and Izuku nods his head.

"I mean, I did win the argument. Well, I won it at a cost but I still won," Izuku says with a slightly proud look on his face even though his smile is fake.

"Stop fake smiling," Hitoshi says with a scowl and Izuku's smile disappears. "Good on you for winning the argument but it obviously doesn't make you happy."

Izuku looks around the teachers' lounge to see if any other teachers are around but it's just them in the office. He whispers softly as he speaks to them, "I'm just on my last strike with him. If I show him that I'm incapable, I'll have to give it back to him and he'll give it to someone else."

"Give what back?" Shōta asks.

Izuku stares at him for a long moment, internally debating how much he wants to tell him, "My quirk. I got it from All Might and he got it from his mentor and so forth. I'm the ninth person who's wielded it. It's different for me though and I haven't figured out why yet."

"Absolutely not. He can't just give you something like that then take it away from you," Shōta says firmly. "You can tell him to fuck off with that shit."

Izuku's mouth drops open in shock, "I can't just say that to him."

"The hell you can't," Hitoshi says. "You need to stick up for yourself and stick to your guns. Don't let him push you around, dude. Tell his ass off and give him a piece of your mind. If he doesn't like it, then too bad, so sad. It's yours now, he'll just have to get over it. I highly doubt his mentor threatened to take it back from him."

"She wouldn't have been able to do that cause she was killed by a villain shortly after she gave it to him," Izuku says and the two look at him in shock. "Gran Torino was the one who taught him how to use the quirk. He's helping me some as well but he's like in his freaking seventies now. He may be old but he has no issue kicking my ass into next week."

"Well, you're going to start staying after school and working on your quirk training with me. I can have my husband and daughter join as well since they have a knack for figuring out unknown quirks. They might figure something out that'll work better for you than whatever All Might and Gran Torino are doing," Shōta states.

"But I've been meeting All Might after school for training," Izuku says. "That's why I missed my mom's decline yesterday cause I didn't hear my phone ringing."

"Then maybe you need to focus on your mother for the time being. I can even drive you to the hospital after classes let out so you can be with her. If All Might doesn't like it then oh well, spending time with your mother is more important than training right now," Shōta says as he reaches over the desk and pats Izuku on the head.

"Okay.. I just.. I just don't know what I'm going to do if she gets worse. Like I know losing your parents is part of life.. I'm just not ready for it. Mentally, emotionally.. financially," Izuku says as he fiddles with his improperly tied tie.

"I'm sure the staff here would be more than happy to help you if it ends up coming to that. You're not in this alone, Problem Child," Shōta says as Hitoshi nods his head in agreement.

"You also won't have to worry about where you would go either because I'd be more than happy to adopt you, Izuku-kun," Nezu chirps as he pops out of one of the vents, startling the two boys.

"You would adopt me?" Izuku says in confusion.

"Of course! You're a brilliant child and I wouldn't mind caring for you as your father. It would be a much better option than Yagi-san," Nezu answers.

After classes let out that day, Shōta drives Izuku over to Musutafa General so he can actually spend time with his mother. Shōta unfortunately feels like Midoriya-san's life is coming to a close given by what Izuku had been telling him and Nezu that morning. He has Oboro come and get Hitoshi as he stays with Izuku as he doesn't want to leave the young teen on his own. He makes a plan in his head to take him home with him after visiting hours are over so that the boy isn't home alone either. Watching Izuku tend to his comatose mother really pulls at his heart strings as he can tell that the boy loves her deeply.

As they were sitting there with Izuku telling his mother how his day went, the boy's phone kept going off with no end in sight and it was starting to piss Shōta off as he has a feeling that it's All Might. Not long later, the hospital door slams open and an angry looking All Might is standing there.

"You have training, Young Midoriya. I've been calling you," All Might states.

"I think me spending time with my dying mother is more important right now, All Might. We can train another day when the inevitable happens," Izuku says firmly.

All Might goes to say something but his mouth snaps shut when he spots Shōta sitting there. "Go ahead, Yagi, tell him that you're going to take the quirk back. He's on his last strike, right?" Shōta says and Izuku stares at Shōta with his mouth hanging open.

All Might turns to Izuku, "You told him?"

"It's my quirk now, I can tell who I want as it's my secret to tell now. You're not going to dictate my life. I highly doubt your mentor did that to you while she was living," Izuku says and Shōta smiles softly from behind his capture weapon at Izuku defending himself.

"Well no. She didn't. Just can't be too trusting of people," All Might says.

"I trust Aizawa-Sensei and I'm going to trust Loud Cloud as well when he starts helping me learn how to use this quirk because what you and Gran Torino are doing isn't helping me at all. I need to learn, not struggle and that's all I've been doing. My version is different than yours so I need a different way of learning it," Izuku informs him.

"So I'm assuming that you no longer want me mentoring you," All Might guesses.

"Yes. That is what I'm saying, I'm sorry. I'll still call on you when I need you, I just need to do what's best for me right now," Izuku says softly as he looks away.

All Might walks up to him and pats him on the head, "Alright. I'll respect your wishes. I'm also glad to see you finally sticking up for yourself, keep it up, don't let others walk all over you. I'll talk to you another day, Young Midoriya." All Might silently leaves the hospital room after that and Izuku sighs softly in relief.

"Good job, Problem Child. Stuck to your guns and defended your decision," Shōta says while giving Izuku a small smile, one that the boy returns in kind.

When the visiting hours ended, Shōta takes Izuku to the Midoriya apartment to gather up clothes and other necessities before taking him home. They walk in and see that Kasumi and Hitoshi are snuggled up together while watching a movie and eating popcorn.

"Hi dad," Kasumi greets without turning around.

Oboro comes out of the kitchen and spots Izuku, "Aw! You brought home a little guest, Shō! Hi, I'm Oboro!"

Kasumi and Hitoshi both turn to look at Izuku who blushes a bit at having everyone's eyes on him, "H-hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya."

"I'm Kasumi, nice to meetcha. You should come and join us, we've only just started the movie so you've only missed a few minutes of it," Kasumi says while gesturing for him to take a seat.

Shōta nudges Izuku to get him moving and the green haired boy sheepishly goes and joins the two on the couch, sitting down next to Kasumi since she had moved over for him to take a seat. Shōta just follows Oboro back into the kitchen to help him finish cooking dinner. Once the food is cooked, the kids pause the movie and Izuku quickly goes and gets a shower and changes out of his school uniform before joining them all at the table. They eat while Izuku tells Oboro about his quirk.

"So it's a stockpiling quirk. You're using too much of it all at once. Since it's stockpiling, you should be able to slowly draw from it and work your way up to the threshold. Also try spreading it out throughout your body instead of just isolating it in different parts, doing it the way you've been is leaving you with too many weak points. Say you have it in your arm, now the rest of your body is greatly weakened and your reaction time to defend yourself decreases tenfold," Kasumi rambles on as Izuku stares at her with wide eyes.

Shōta feels his dad instincts kicking in as he watches soft blushes form on both teens' faces as Izuku and Kasumi continue talking about his quirk. He's about to say something when Oboro and Hitoshi both jab him with their chopsticks. He gives them both a look and sees Oboro's hand in his lap signing to him, 'Let it happen, cat. Green seems like a nice and respectful boy.'

'He's a Problem Child,' Shōta signs back.

'You think every child is a problem, cat. Nice try, now keep your mouth shut and leave them be. They'd be cute together,' Oboro signs back.

Hitoshi gains their attention and signs to them as well, 'It's not going to stop me from teasing them. Imma wait til feelings develop.'

Oboro snorts as Shōta rolls his eyes. He's still very much in dad mode as Kasumi is his daughter and he'll go through great lengths for her to make sure she's happy and safe. He keeps glancing at the pair after they've finished eating and are now on the couch sitting shoulder to shoulder with Izuku and Kasumi comparing their analysis notebooks and giving each other tips.

Shōta reluctantly leaves to go out for a short patrol as he wasn't so sure about leaving his daughter and Izuku alone with two people who are obviously all for a relationship between the two to develop. When he arrives back home, he sees that the two have fallen asleep while being cuddled up even closer together and with their notebooks still in their laps.

He's about to wake them up when Hitoshi startles him, "Leave them alone. They're just fine like that."

"That is not fine, Tosh," Shōta whispers.

"What's not fine about it? They're not doing anything inappropriate. They just nerded out til they passed out," Hitoshi whispers back.

Shōta just sighs heavily before going and moving their notebooks then draping a blanket over the two of them. He shoos Hitoshi back to bed before he goes and gets ready for bed himself. When he gets up in the morning and goes to start a pot of coffee, he freezes when he sees that they've laid down and have their faces too close together for his liking. He spots Oboro and Hitoshi both sneaking a couple of photos of the pair while snickering and the two quickly move away from them when they see the look on his face as he enters the living room to wake the two up. He starts patting them on their heads and Izuku moves his head away from Shōta's patting and Shōta wants to slap himself for his stupidity as the two teens' lips touch and are now staring wide eyed at each other with the deepest blushes Shōta has ever seen in his life.

Kasumi squeaks and quickly portals herself away as Izuku covers his face and starts floating. As soon as Izuku realizes that he's in the air, he panics until Shōta erases the quirk and he plops back down on the couch. "I'm-I'm so s-sorry, sen-sensei!" Izuku squeaks.

"It's whatever, it was obviously an accident. Let's talk about the fact that you were freaking floating mid-air," Shōta states.

"Um, Float. It would be Seventh's quirk. I didn't know I could use the other users' quirks," Izuku answers as he tries to rub the blush out of his face.

"Well text All Might and ask him for a list of the other users' quirks so we can tinker with them as they start popping up," Shōta instructs before walking away so he can make himself his coffee because he's going to need it to actually function and to calm down his morning grumpiness.

The ride over to UA was silent. Shōta could tell that Hitoshi wanted to tease Izuku but was holding it in and he could tell that Izuku wanted to keep apologizing even though he apologized all through breakfast and gave Kasumi a number of them as well. Shōta sends the two boys to class as he goes to the teachers' lounge and plops down at his desk with a sigh.

"Soooooo, Kasumi inadvertently had her first kiss with Midoriya," Hizashi says in a teasing manner and Shōta glares at him as the rest of the staff all stare at him with wide eyes.

"Yes and that was on me because I was trying to wake them up and Midoriya's face was already so close to hers. I just didn't expect him to turn his head to the side like that to get away from me," Shōta says and there's snorts from around the lounge.

"Oh my gosh, how'd they react?!" Midnight asks in excitement.

"She portalled herself away to her room and Midoriya hid behind his hands. Both of them looked like a couple of tomatoes," Shōta answers with a sigh. "He's been apologizing all damn morning and he's going to be staying with me until we see what happens with his mother, as in if she begins to recover or if she continues to decline. I'm not about to let the kid be alone in his apartment when his mother is basically dying."

"I think they'd be cute together," Hizashi says with a smirk as he holds up his phone as Oboro has sent him a picture of the two cuddling while sleeping as well as a photo of their lips touching and now Shōta is back to glaring at the loud blonde. "What? Don't look at me like that, Shō. The broccoli boy is a good kid. He's very sweet and kind, I highly doubt he'd ever do anything to purposely hurt her."

"I don't care if he's a good kid, I know that he is. It's the fact that Kasumi is my first baby, my daughter. The kid that I created with my love for her daddy. I'm going to be protective of her no matter who the boy is," Shōta says in defense.

The day carries on as normal until lunch when he spots Hitoshi with a sly look on his face as his son makes his way over to where Izuku is and he knows that he's going to be teasing the boy. He gets closer as he wants some entertainment today.

"~Izuku~," Hitoshi sings as he comes up behind the green haired boy who immediately knows what Hitoshi is up to.

"Go away, Hitoshi," Izuku says while he tries not to blush as he eats his lunch.

"No, I don't think I will, brother-in-law," Hitoshi says and Izuku's blush deepens as the class all pause their eating to stare at them.

"It was an accident and you know it. It meant absolutely nothing now shoo," Izuku says as he jabs Hitoshi with his finger.

"Oh I know it was an accident but look at your faces," Hitoshi says as he shows Izuku the photo that he had taken just like Oboro had done.

"Oh my gosh! Delete that! That's embarrassing!" Izuku says as his tomato colored blush is back in his face.

"There's a before picture too," Hitoshi says and shows him that one as well, causing Izuku to groan in embarrassment.

"Why are you teasing me?" Izuku asks.

"Because you like her. I'm not stupid. You two share interests while having opposite personalities. A match made in heaven," Hitoshi answers.

"Well your dad looked like he wanted to freaking murder me so no," Izuku retorts.

"He was the cause of it to begin with. He shouldn't have tried to wake you two up like that. That's apparently how inadvertent first kisses are shared," Hitoshi laughs as 1-A's mouths all drop open in shock.

"What?! Where is this girl?! Now we gotta see who you're kissing, Midoriya!" Kaminari says in excitement.

"She's not here. She attends Shiketsu but that's alright cause Izuku will be seeing her again later since he's staying with us for a while," Hitoshi says in a teasing manner as Izuku gives him a blushing glare. "Oh how the romance is blooming. Work studies are going to be so much fun for you, Izuku, since you're going to be working with her during patrols and stuff."

"Wh-what?!" Izuku asks.

"Yeah, who do you think her mentor is, ding dong? You really think she's going to work with someone who doesn't have a quirk that compliments her own?" Hitoshi questions while smirking.

"She could work with her other father," Izuku states.

"But he isn't taking interns right now, which is why my papa is taking you on instead of my dad," Hitoshi informs him and Izuku blushes at that. "You'll be fine. I bet Yoarashi will make it virtually impossible for you to bust a move anyways since he's crushing on her hard-core and still being a bit of a simp for her. He's not her type though so you have a solid chance."

"Who's Yoarashi?" Izuku asks.

"One of her classmates who doesn't understand the meaning of boundaries. He's also a loud and annoying cockroach so like I said, not her type," Hitoshi answers. "She likes the cute blushy nerds who can easily get on the same wavelength as her."

"Go away, Hitoshi," Izuku grumbles while blushing and picking at his food.

"Why would I do that?" Hitoshi asks with a smirk. "It's better if I pick on you now instead of at home because I feel like she'll beat me up or portal me off into a ditch somewhere."

Shōta stands there trying not to laugh because Hitoshi isn't wrong, Kasumi would more than likely do something like that to him. The two may not have known each other for very long but Hitoshi definitely has an idea of who his sister is as a person along with her personality, likes, and dislikes.

Hitoshi gets a ping on his phone and smirks as he reads the message, "Uh oh, looks like you two swapped analysis notebooks. How romantic!"

"I do not have her notebook!" Izuku states before digging into his backpack then a deep blush appears on his face.

"Then what's that? Last I checked your name isn't 'Kasumi'," Hitoshi teases as he pokes at Kasumi's notebook.

Shōta watches as his class all stare at Izuku with the most shocked expressions he's even seen in his life as he continues to try and contain his laughter.

"O.M.Gee! Midoriya-kun! That's sensei's daughter!" Mina whisper shouts at him.

"I'm highly aware of who she is, thank you. Now be quiet, Unders hide their families," Izuku says as he keeps his face turned away from all of them.

"You kissed Aizawa's daughter," Mineta says in disbelief.

"It was an accident, dammit. We were sleeping and I didn't know her face was so close to mine when I turned my head," Izuku says in defense.

"Wait wait wait. How exactly were you two even that close together while sleeping in the first place?" Sero asks him.

"We fell asleep on the couch together while showing each other our analysis notebooks," Izuku answers sheepishly. "So like I said, it was an accident and Hitoshi is an ass and is blowing it out of proportion."

Hitoshi scoffs in fake offense while smirking, "I'm just very observant thank you berry much. So, are you telling me that if I use my quirk on you and ask you if you have a crush on Kasumi, you'd say no?" Izuku stares at him in silence knowing that that's what he's trying to do and Hitoshi's smirk slowly forms into a Cheshire grin the longer Izuku stays silent. "Oh, the silence is golden and it also answers my question that you'd say 'yes'. Nothing wrong with that, she's an attractive girl with a big brain and a wild sense of humor. Sounds like your type of girl, Izuku." Izuku continues to stare at him in silence as he has a feeling that Hitoshi is still attempting to brainwash him. "Whelp, I'll leave you to finish your lunch. See you at home, brother-in-law."

Shōta is almost tempted to smack Hitoshi upside the head for even calling Izuku 'brother-in-law'. It's not that he minds Izuku, it's the fact that Kasumi is his daughter and he's protective of her. He knows that he can't shelter her forever but he wants to make sure that she's safe with whatever decisions she makes as she gets older and one of those things would be a significant other. He highly doubts Izuku would ever do anything to hurt her due to the boy's personality and nature but he's still weary because Izuku is a boy who is apparently crushing on his daughter.

Later that day, Oboro stops by UA to collect Hitoshi. Kasumi and Izuku blush a bit when swapping notebooks while apologizing to each other. Shōta wants to laugh when he sees his class all gaping at the blushing pair.

"Isn't Izuku eye candy, Kasumi?" Hitoshi asks her, causing her to sputter as her blush deepens while Izuku is giving Hitoshi a wide eyed look while also blushing.

"Why are you asking me that? Are you trying to get beat up because that's how you get beaten up," Kasumi threatens as Hitoshi laughs, clearly not caring about her threat.

"But he is, yeah?" Hitoshi asks with a smirk that widens when she gives Izuku a once over, causing Izuku to blush deeply at being looked at like that.

"I can neither confirm nor deny that," Kasumi answers before portalling herself away leaving behind a stammering Izuku, two shocked parents and a sibling with a satisfied smirk on his face.

Hitoshi playfully elbows Izuku, "See, you have a chance, you nerdy pretty boy."

"I hope she kicks your ass as soon as you get home or portals you off somewhere as punishment," Izuku states as he shoves the giggling Hitoshi away from him.

"I think that's enough picking for one day, Tosh," Shōta scolds him before turning to Izuku. "Let's go, Problem Child. You need to spend time with your mom."

As Shōta is driving Izuku to the hospital, he keeps glancing over at the boy. He's trying to see what his daughter sees in Izuku to find him attractive. He can admit that Izuku is a cute kid but just being cute wouldn't warrant that sort of reaction from his daughter. Once they are sitting in the hospital room with Izuku telling his mother about his day and how Hitoshi was picking on him he starts to see it. Izuku's side profile is well defined, nicely shaped jawline, prominent Adam's apple; masculine features that are a lot more mature looking than what an average fifteen year old boy would have. He has a feeling that once Izuku loses those baby cheeks, he's going to be quite the looker so it's no wonder that his kid finds him attractive looking. If he compared Izuku to Hitoshi, he could easily say that Izuku looks a bit older than him even though it's the other way around, granted it's only by a couple of weeks but still.

"Must get those overly masculine features from your father," Shōta comments and Izuku looks over at him in confusion. "Jawline, Adam's apple. I didn't even have that at fifteen, I was close to seventeen when my features became more prominent."

"Oh. My dad is an American so I got a good chunk of my features from him," Izuku says in slight confusion. "I'm just trying to figure out why you're studying me."

"To see what my daughter is seeing. Your personality and nature is a dead give away but with Tosh bringing up the 'eye candy' thing and her response to it, I needed to figure it out for myself," Shōta explains. "Once your cheeks slim, you're going to be a looker."

Izuku blushes lightly, "Thank you for the compliment but I don't think so. I don't find myself attractive so I don't get why she would."

"Well here's the thing about women Izuku, they don't care what you look like on the outside. If they like what's on the inside, your outward appearance just becomes a bonus to them," Shōta states as Izuku avoids eye contact with him. "She clearly likes your personality and who you are as a person. With her giving you a once over earlier, I feel like that was the first time she actually looked at all of you. If you like her, get to know her. I'm not going to get in your way if you choose to do so. Granted, I'll one-hundred percent kick your ass if you hurt her but I'm not too worried about that."

"Only if she'd want to. I'm not going to do something like that if she doesn't want to. I want to respect her, her boundaries, and her wishes," Izuku says softly and Shōta smiles a bit at Izuku's words.

They go back to sitting in silence until Tsukauchi walks in with a lawyer, "Hey Izuku, sorry it took so long but we were able to get ahold of your father and he went ahead and finished signing the divorce papers so you don't need to worry about that anymore."

"Thank you, Tsukauchi-San, I really appreciate it. But um, what's with the lawyer?" Izuku asks as he stares at the man.

"Your mother has a small will, so I just came by to meet you and to give you my information," The lawyer explains as he pulls a business card out of his blazer pocket and hands it over to him.

Izuku takes it from him with a saddened expression, "Thank you. I'll be sure to contact you if she declines further."

"Of course. And there wouldn't be any rush either. Take all the time you need, kid," the lawyer says as he gives Izuku a small bow then leaves.

Tsukauchi is staring over at Shōta with a raised brow, "What are you doing here, Eraser?"

"I ain't about to be leaving the kid alone during a time like this. This isn't something that he should face alone. I have a heart, you know," Shōta deadpans and Tsukauchi nods his head in understanding.

"That's understandable. Well, I'll leave y'all to it. If you need anything at all, just give me a call, Izuku," Tsukauchi says with a soft smile.

Izuku nods his head, "I will, thank you Tsukauchi-san."

Izuku sighs heavily after Tsukauchi leaves and just holds onto his mother's hand. It's obvious to Shōta that the boy wants to cry given the wobbling lip and thick swallowing, "It's okay to cry, kiddo. You don't have to hold it back."

"I need to be strong for her. If I cry then that means I'm weak. I just.. I just need to hold on a bit longer.. for her," Izuku says in a shaky voice as he shakes his head.

Shōta sighs softly, he's not about to make the kid cry when he's not ready to. Given the gray appearance on his mother's skin, he knows that it's going to be soon and he's not about to tell the boy that as he's sure that Izuku can see that for himself. Once they leave the hospital, Shōta has to resist the urge to comfort Izuku as it's obvious that the boy doesn't want it, he just wants to be left alone to his thoughts and he can respect that.

They arrive home and Izuku just picks at his food. No one is going to force the boy to eat if he doesn't have an appetite. Hitoshi puts on a movie for them all to watch and the three kids snuggle up together on the couch with Izuku being in the middle of it. Shōta notices that Kasumi isn't even watching the movie, she's fiddling with Izuku's hand and studying it which Shōta found a bit odd. He pokes Oboro and gestures over to the pair in question, then signs to him, 'What is she doing?'

'She is studying his hand?' Oboro answers in confusion.

'I see that but why?' Shōta asks.

'Women like men's hands. I like your hands too, I know I've studied yours,' Oboro answers.

'Why?' Shōta asks and Oboro sighs.

'Imagining what they'd feel like,' Oboro answers and Shōta stares at him with a shocked look. 'It can be nonsexual or sexual. Like his hands rubbing her back or sides, etc.'

Shōta waves his hands around as he doesn't need anymore information. He just gets up and goes to get ready for bed with Oboro following close behind him. "What's the matter, kitty cat?" Oboro whispers.

"They barely know each other," Shōta whispers back as he changes his clothes.

"So? We barely knew each other when we first got together. I don't know if you remember or not but we'd only known each other for a month when we got pregnant with her in the first place," Oboro points out and Shōta pauses and stares at him.

"Yeah and we were a couple of horny hormonal teens at that point in time too. Yeah, I definitely had feelings for you and those feelings grew tenfold when we found out we were expecting but this is different," Shōta argues and Oboro raises a brow at him with a small smile on his face.

"How is this different, Shō? They're a couple of hormonal teens. Would you be acting like this if the roles were reversed? What if it were Hitoshi and Izuku crushing on each other instead of Kasumi and Izuku?" Oboro asks him and Shōta just stares at him for a moment.

"Well Tosh can't get pregnant, love cloud. Kasumi can, she doesn't need to be a teen parent like we were. That shit was hard as fuck," Shōta answers and Oboro giggles a bit. "Why are you giggling? This isn't humorous."

"She's on birth control, Shō. Even if they do things, she has a lot more protection than we did and I'm going to safely assume that Izuku would be smart enough to put a baby batter catcher on it," Oboro answers and Shōta is giving him the most disgusted look he could make.

"Okay first off, good to know my child is on something that I wasn't aware of and two, that description of a condom is nasty, Boro. Ew, just ew," Shōta says in disgust as he lays down in bed.

"First, you did know because we talked about it for her periods and second, I find the use of 'baby batter catcher' hilarious," Oboro laughs.

"You're not giving Hitoshi the talk, ya nasty," Shōta states firmly as Oboro laughs some more.

"What? And you think you'd be any better at giving him the talk? You couldn't even stay in the room when we were giving Kasumi her 'lady time' talk," Oboro says as he snuggles up in bed with Shōta.

"'Lady time' talk is different from 'sex time' talk," Shōta grumbles.

"No it's not, they go hand in hand and you know that. You just don't like the idea that our daughter is becoming a woman," Oboro points out and Shōta glares at him. "You know I'm right so don't look at me like that, kitty cat."

"Whatever. I'm done discussing it. I already know for a fact that Izuku is crushing on her, he confirmed it earlier. He may be respectful of her and her wishes but he's still a teen male with at least one or two brain cells in his southern head," Shōta states as Oboro snorts.

"Yeah and you don't think Kasumi did that as well? She straight up told Yoarashi that she met a sweet green haired boy that she's getting to know," Oboro says with a soft smile and Shōta rolls over while grumbling to himself where Oboro starts spooning him. "Aww no need for grumbling, Shō. They're not doing anything wrong by having crushes on each other."

Shōta rolls back over and wraps his arms around Oboro who nuzzles his neck as he makes himself comfortable. "I love you, love cloud."

He feels Oboro smiling against his neck, "I love you too, kitty cat."

Shōta buries his face into Oboro's hair as he relaxes. He hears the kids all tell each other good night before the house is completely silent. Shōta's eyes snap open a few hours later to a phone ringing then Izuku's voice speaking softly followed by a choked out 'okay' so he knows that it's the hospital calling the boy about his mother. He gently slips out of bed to go and comfort Izuku but freezes once he makes it to the end of the hallway to see that Kasumi has already beaten him there and is holding Izuku close to her. He jumps a bit when Oboro comes up behind him followed by Hitoshi. Shōta and Oboro have never seen a gentler side of their daughter before and to see her gently soothing Izuku has them completely baffled, especially when she starts humming softly and pulls Izuku down to lay down fully on the couch to cuddle with him.

Shōta and Oboro just stand there with their mouths hanging open then Hitoshi taps on them, they look at him as he starts signing, 'What's with those faces?'

'She's never like that,' Shōta answers.

'She's usually very awkward when it comes to people crying and such. She's not the crying type so to speak, so this is just shocking to us because well, yeah,' Oboro explains further.

'She has a very obvious crush on him so yeah, she's going to make the effort to comfort him. She's seeing him at his lowest and is being there for him, that's going to greatly impact how they feel about one another. As in, deepening their feelings. I'm sure that there's going to come a point where she hits a low spot and he'll be there for her as well. The heart knows what it wants,' Hitoshi signs back to them before turning and heading back to his room.

The two just stand there staring at each other for a moment before glancing into the living room to hear that she's still humming softly. They decide that it'd be best to just leave the two alone as it's obvious that she has it under control. The next morning, Izuku tells them that his mother is now brain dead and asks if Kasumi can go with him to the hospital where Shōta and Oboro allow it. She just portals them away to the hospital so they don't need to worry about driving all the way there. Shōta and Hitoshi head to UA as Oboro uses a cloud to get to work as the weather is nice out that day.

Shōta informs the staff about Izuku's mother and they all pitch in to help cover expenses. Lunch rolls around and Shōta heads to the cafeteria to grab himself a bento and some jelly pouches. He spots his class making a beeline straight for Hitoshi as his son sits by himself eating his lunch. He decides to get closer so he can hear what they want from his kid.

"Hey Insomniac, where the fuck is Deku?" Bakugou growls out and Hitoshi looks at him in confusion.

"Who's 'Deku'?" Hitoshi asks.

"He means Midoriya, bro," Kirishima answers.

"He's at the hospital saying goodbye to his mother. I don't really see why it's any of y'alls business though," Hitoshi answers before attempting to go back to his lunch.

"It is our business since he's our classmate!" Iida says while chopping an arm in his direction. "If he is at the hospital at an emotional time like this, then why isn't Sensei with him since Midoriya is under your father's care?!"

"Because Izuku didn't want him there. He only wanted Kasumi to be with him so we all respected his wishes on that," Hitoshi answers before taking a bite of his lunch, very clearly not in the mood to be getting crowded and Shōta doesn't blame him, he's been in a mood all day himself.

Bakugou scoffs at that, "And why would he want her to be there with him? He barely knows her."

"Considering the fact that she held him just about all night as he cried, I'd say that I'd want her there with me as well if I was in Izuku's position," Hitoshi answers as he glares at the blonde. "Are you all done here? I'd like to eat my lunch in peace and quiet."

"Are they like.. dating now?" Uraraka asks with a saddened expression.

"Their business isn't your business which means it's also not my business. Whatever they decide to do shouldn't matter to me and it shouldn't matter to you either," Hitoshi deadpans and Shōta can't help the small smile on his face at Hitoshi keeping his sister's business private. He knows that the two aren't dating but he knows that it's inevitable and will happen when they are ready for it to happen.

"Well, Deku-kun is my friend and I want to make sure she wouldn't hurt him," Uraraka states even though it's clear to Shōta that she's just jealous of Kasumi.

"She wouldn't do that," Hitoshi says.

"We heard her threatening to beat you up, rabbit," Tsuyu points out.

"Yeah cause I was teasing her. I asked her if she thought Izuku was eye candy. Last I checked, siblings are allowed to tease and beat each other up. Me and my sister playing around has nothing to do with her and Izuku. Now go away. Damn. You all came over here asking where he was and I gave you your answer. I don't see how the conversation changed from Izuku's mother passing away to his relationship with my sister," Hitoshi says angrily. "Be more respectful. Your friend and classmate is grieving over the loss of his mom, that should be y'alls concern."

Shōta watches as they all look at one another before walking away in silence as Hitoshi goes back to eating his lunch. Shōta goes and grabs himself a bento box before going and joining Hitoshi for lunch. "You okay, Kiddo?" Shōta asks him.

"I just feel bad for Izuku. And what the hell is up with that angry blonde and that brown haired girl in your class calling him 'useless'? That's bullying," Hitoshi says with a scowl on his face.

"Well, as far as I know, Bakugou has always called him that and Izuku calls him 'Kacchan'. As far as Uraraka calling him that, I think it's because she thinks it's a cute nickname," Shōta answers honestly.

"To me, that's an insult. I think they need to be punished for something like that because it's not cute or nice," Hitoshi states.

"I'm not sure if a punishment would stop them but I can definitely sit them down and discuss it with them. For Bakugou it would probably end in some kind of punishment and for Uraraka, I think just a good talking to would suffice," Shōta says as he opens up his bento so he could eat.

They eat in silence for a little while before Hitoshi speaks again, "Do you think Izuku is going to be okay, dad?"

Shōta gives him a sad look and he can tell that Hitoshi is worried about his new friend, "It'll take some time but yes, I feel like he will be. He just needs some good friends to love and support him through it all."

"Yeah. Is um, is Nezu actually going to be adopting him or did he just say that to ease Izuku's mind?" Hitoshi asks and Shōta gives him a soft smile.

"The rat was being serious, unfortunately. But that means Izuku will be staying with us for a while longer until the final drafts for the dorm system are done so that they can be put into place. Then all of us expect your sister and papa will be living here during the school days. Shiketsu is also having a dorm system installed so they'll be there during the weekdays," Shōta explains to him and Hitoshi frowns at that. "What's with that look, Tosh?"

"I don't like that. Is it mandatory to live in the dorms?" Hitoshi asks him.

"Um, well no, but it'd make things easier," Shōta says in confusion.

Hitoshi shakes his head, "No. I don't like it cause then we're not at home with them and they're not home with us."

Shōta gives him a soft smile, "We'd still be home for the weekends and breaks though, Tosh." Hitoshi shakes his head while still frowning. "Okay, how about a compromise? Every other week. One week on campus then the next week at home. I'm going to be needed here because of my class' dorm. I need to be able to watch over any of my homeroom kids that choose to live on campus but I bet I could have Mic or someone else watch over them at night while we're at home."

"And what about Kasumi and papa?" Hitoshi asks.

"Your papa doesn't need to live on campus at Shiketsu since he's a counselor so he and Kasumi can easily do the same," Shōta answers and Hitoshi nods his head. "Alright, we'll talk to them about it when we get home later."

"And what about Izuku?" Hitoshi asks.

"Well since Nezu is adopting him, Izuku would just stay here since the damn rat already freaking lives here in his office which is why Izuku would be staying with us until the dorms are installed and more than likely during breaks since Nezu has meetings and such all throughout breaks," Shōta explains and Hitoshi nods his head in understanding.

When they all arrive home later that day, they know that Kasumi and Izuku are there as their shoes are at the door but they don't see them in the living room or in the kitchen. Shōta feels his eye twitch a bit as he heads down the hallway. He sees that his daughter's bedroom door is cracked open so he just takes a peek into the room. He sees that Izuku has definitely had a roller-coaster of a day as his eyes are swollen and puffy along with angry red-looking tear tracks down his cheeks. He can see that Kasumi has a similar appearance but it's not as bad as Izuku's. Both teens are sound asleep and are cuddling with Izuku being the big spoon and holding her closely to him. He sighs softly as he reaches into the room, flips the light off, and shuts the door.

The Sports Festival started a few days after that and Shōta still won't allow Izuku to participate so he has him sit in the commentator's booth with him and Mic. He glances over at the boy every so often when he hears pen on paper and incoherent mumbling. He doesn't understand how Izuku's brain processes everything so fast, he'd get a headache if his brain did that. He noticed that Izuku was also texting on his phone and every so often a tiny smile or a blush would be on his face so he safely assumes that he's talking to Kasumi.

It's during the festivities break that Shōta wants to smack Mic as the blonde turns to Izuku, "So little listener, have you asked her out yet?"

Izuku sputters at him, "Wh-what?!"

"Yeah! You're 'talking' to Kasumi, right?! Crushing on her?!" Mic questions in excitement as Shōta glares at the loud blonde.

"We're-we're just fri-friends!" Izuku stammers out while blushing.

"I don't believe that for a second, green bean. Yoouuu have a crush on her," Mic teases. "Got yourself a little cloud."

Shōta does smack him after that, "Knock it off, Zashi. And you," he points at Izuku next and the boy stares at him with wide eyes, "stop lying. You confessed to me that you do have feelings for her and I know they haven't changed in the least bit. No sense in trying to hide it just because I'm around when I already know."

Mic snorts out some laughter before quickly stifling it as Shōta glares at him. He gives Shōta a sheepish smile before turning to Izuku, "Why don't you go down and enjoy the festivities, little listener? I'm sure your friends would like to hang out with you."

Izuku quickly leaves while still blushing and Shōta just sighs while rubbing his face. He doesn't understand those two kids at all. He knows that they know that they like each other so he doesn't get why they are so awkward about it. He and Oboro weren't like that, everything about their relationship just felt right and everything just clicked into place as they got to know each other more and all throughout Oboro's pregnancy. His love for his love cloud just felt natural so he didn't see the need to beat around the bush about it. He found his person and rolled with it.

"Whatcha thinking about, Shō?" Mic asks him as he gets their lunches out so they can eat during the break.

"I don't understand them. They know that they like each other. I don't get why they're just not rolling with it like how me and Oboro did. It felt natural to love him so I didn't see a need to fight it," Shōta answers as he accepts the bento box being handed to him.

"I feel like they are rolling with it, just having a different approach to it. I'm sure that they've already accepted it, it's just a matter of who busts the first move first to get an actual relationship between the two of them going," Mic says with a small smile and Shōta can't help but to agree with that.

The Sports Festival comes to a close and can't help the proud smile on his face at Hitoshi sharing the third place spot with Tokoyami. He's already made a new training plan for his son as the boy is determined to catch up to the rest of 1-A quickly so that he can transfer in. He even has it down to do some joint training with Izuku, Kasumi, and Oboro. He hopes that Izuku will be able to work out the bugs of his quirk with them helping him.

The following week, he's at the train station about to see his students off when a black portal opens up and Kasumi steps through it wearing her hero costume. It's a lightweight armor-type with an ankle length deep-red loincloth hanging from the front and back of it, a matching deep-red rogue hood with the hood and mask down along with her long chained kusarigama wrapped around her waist with the weighted end hanging loosely while the small hand-held scythe is fastened in place. Lastly, her Shiketsu hat is resting on top of her head, it throws off the rest of her costume but it's Shiketsu's policy that all hero students wear it while in costume.

"What are you doing here, Kurogiri?" Shōta asks her with a raised brow.

"I was told to get Izuku so I am here to collect him," Kasumi answers with a smile.

"Deku-kun is a UA student not a Shiketsu student," Uraraka points out and Shōta notices the irritated twitch that his daughter's eye does at Uraraka calling Izuku that nickname.

"Highly aware. But he's doing his internship with Loud Cloud though so I'm here to collect him since I'm faster than him just traveling by train. Also, if you call him 'useless' again, you and I are going to have problems, it's not cute," Kasumi growls out before looking at Izuku. "Let's go, Zu, we have some training to do."

Shōta gestures for Izuku to go as Kasumi opens a new portal and disappears into it with Izuku quickly following behind her. "Sensei, she just threatened me," Uraraka states and Shōta raises a brow at her.

"I wouldn't call that a threat, ribbit. She simply said that it's going to cause a problem if you keep calling Midoriya-kun that, ribbit," Tsuyu points out and Uraraka gives her a betrayed look where the frog quirked girl just shrugs her shoulders because she's not wrong.

"Cheeks is just jealous because she didn't manage to get the nerd to catch feelings for her. She'll get over it," Bakugou grumbles before attempting to walk away to board his train as Uraraka glares at him.

"And what would you even know?!" Uraraka shouts angrily at him.

"Because he straight up told me that he has feelings for Kasumi and plans on asking her out when the time is right. Fucking obviously," Bakugou answers while rolling his eyes then finally walks away and boards his train as she stands there fuming.

"Is no one going to mention the fact that she has a teleportation quirk?" Kaminari asks. "Quirks like hers are like, super rare dude."

"Her quirk is actually called Ominous Mist. It does things other than teleportation," Todoroki deadpans and everyone stares at him in confusion. "I knew I recognized her but now that I've seen up close again I remember her. We used to have playdates together until she got her quirk."

"Yeah cause she scared the hell out of you and gave you nightmares for the longest time. You screamed, cried, and ran away from her when we attempted a playdate after that," Shōta says while hiding his smirk behind his capture weapon as Todoroki pouts and blushes a bit in embarrassment as the class all snorts out some laughter. "Nothing to be embarrassed about. As Mic says, 'she's scarier than the scariest villain when she's angry'. She definitely lives up to that statement and you accidentally burned her toy pony. Toddler logic says to throw a major, terrifying tantrum."

"Sounded like a justified tantrum," Tokoyami states with a small smirk as Dark Shadow giggles and Shōta can't help but to snort as Todoroki shoots the edge lord a playful glare.

"Nah, I don't care about that stuff. I'm focused on the fact that she's a total babe. I wouldn't mind hittin that," Mineta says in a creepy and perverted manner, causing Shōta to glare at him.

The class all gasps at the short teen in shock. "Uuuhhh.. bro. You do realize that you're saying that in front of her own father, correct?" Kirishima asks in a baffled tone.

"So? He's allowing Midoriya to mess around with her," Mineta says.

"Correction. They haven't done anything inappropriate and I wouldn't just 'allow' it either," Shōta growls out. "Now everyone, get to your trains and if I hear anything like that come out of anyone's mouth again, everyone will be running the Hell Course."

The class all gives Mineta warning glares before they all go their separate ways to get to their trains. Shōta stays to make sure that they all board safely and head off to their destinations before turning and leaving to head back to UA to start training his son.

It's three days later that Shōta and Hitoshi meet up with the other three at Hosu City. Shōta feels confident enough to allow Hitoshi to gain the same experience that the rest of his students are getting and so that his son has his internship hours as well. Izuku proudly shows the two of them that he's figuring out One For All and his other quirks and Shōta can't help the proud smile on his face that Izuku has figured it out. Hitoshi and Kasumi both gather around Izuku in excitement and the three of them all speak in excited voices about it.

Once they get all their energy out, they head out for a patrol around the city. He has to hold back his laughter at Hitoshi's reaction to him seeing his sister use her quirk fully as she's turned herself in a thick black mist that's traveling ahead of the group with brief moments of pausing to wait for the others to catch up to her if she gets too far ahead of them.

Shōta feels his heart drop into his stomach as a group of nomu start attacking the city. He instructs the three kids to get to safety and to only engage if they are getting attacked. He watches as the three turn around and run off away from the scene. He and Oboro find themselves chasing after a nomu that had slipped away from the others and witness a sight that they never wanted to see; their two kids along with Izuku, Iida and Todoroki facing off against The Hero Killer: Stain.

They quickly take down the nomu before they hear the familiar angry wail of an enraged Kasumi. Shōta feels his heart stop at seeing Izuku using his body to shield a downed Iida and has a katana straight through his belly. They see Stain staring down the alleyway frozen in place along with everyone else, all of them trembling from where they are standing knowing exactly what they are seeing.

Shōta sees Kasumi, who is covered head to toe in her thick black mist along with her eyes being a bright wispy yellow, step out of the alleyway and he and Oboro both freeze as well as she speaks in a disembodied sounding voice, "How dare you hurt him. I'm gonna fucking kill you, you bastard."

Shōta shakes himself out of his frozen state as Kasumi pulls out her weapon as she slowly stalks up to Stain. He quickly wraps the villain up in his capture weapon and yanks the man over to him. He tries not to react to Kasumi's wispy yellow eyes snapping over in his direction as she growls deeply, "Do not protect him."

"I'm not protecting him. I'm protecting you. If you kill him, you'll be arrested for murder," Shōta says in a soothing manner as she continues to growl and is now stalking in his direction.

"Kasumi. Please," Izuku pleads softly and her attention is now on him. "He's not worth it. He's caught now and I'll be okay. I'm just having an Olaf moment, 'oh look at that, I've been impaled'."

"That's not funny, Zu," Kasumi says as she walks up to him.

"I know but I'll be okay though. I'm still standing. Nothing a little surgery can't fix," Izuku says softly as she begins to turn back into her normal self. Izuku gives her a small smile before grabbing her hands and holding them against his chest. "See? Still beating nice and strong."

Shōta and Oboro watch as she turns back into her normal self before resting her forehead against Izuku's shoulder with one of her hands still over his heart. The EMTs and the Police Force arrive shortly after that with the EMTs taking Izuku and Iida and the Police Force taking Stain. Todoroki heads back to his father as the other four head in the direction of Hosu General to be with Izuku. Shōta can't help but notice that Kasumi has separated herself from the three of them and is sitting on her own. The three look at each other in concern, wondering why she's distanced herself.

"Little cloud, come over here and sit with us," Shōta says softly while gesturing for her to come and sit with them.

"I can't. I was going to hurt you in order to get to Stain. I can't sit next to you.. not right now," Kasumi says as she starts tearing up and turns her head away from them as Shōta stares at her with widened eyes.

"It's okay. I understand. I interfered with what you were attempting to do while you were in rage mode. So please, come over here and sit next to me. You don't need to punish yourself, I'm not angry or hurt, I promise," Shōta pleads with her as she sniffles and continues to avoid eye contact. After a few minutes, she gets up and sits down next to him where he pulls her into a hug, "There we go, that's much better."

"I love you, dad," Kasumi sniffles into his shoulder, "I'm so sorry."

"It's okay my little cloud and I love you too," Shōta soothes as he holds her closely then the other two join in on hugging her.

Once they are allowed to see Izuku, they head to where he's sharing a room with Iida. Shōta watches with a sad look on his face as Kasumi gets into the bed with Izuku and makes herself as small as she can as she snuggles up against him. He watches as Izuku stares at her with a sad yet sleepy expression on his face as he places his arm around her before whatever drugs the hospital has given him takes over and promptly passes out. The three sit in silence as they listen to her sniffle. After a little while, it stops and they see that she's fallen asleep.

"Now he's seen her at her lowest," Hitoshi whispers softly. Shōta and Oboro look at him with soft expressions as they nod.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Iida asks in a whisper.

"She was there for Izuku when he lost his mother so she saw him at his lowest and now he's seen her at her lowest when she threatened to literally kill someone and was physically making the motions in order to do it," Hitoshi explains as he stares at the other boy.

"I get that but I don't understand," Iida points out.

Oboro sighs heavily as he explains what Hitoshi is meaning, "When you see someone at their lowest and stay by their side through it all, it deepens feelings. Hito is simply saying that Izuku and Kasumi's feelings for each other have deepened."

"Oh. I see. Uraraka is going to be very upset by that," Iida states and Hitoshi and Oboro look at him in confusion. "Uraraka wants to be with Midoriya and she's been trying to win him over ever since she learned that Midoriya and Aizawa-chan like each other."

Hitoshi rolls his eyes, "Yeah, you can't force feelings, dude. She's just going to cause him to develop a distaste in her and ruin whatever friendship that they may have."

"She thinks because she met him first, that she's entitled to him," Iida says with a sigh. "I tried to tell her that that's not how things work but she's a bit.. I don't even know the right word for it."

"Yandere?" Hitoshi guesses and Iida nods his head as the two men groan a bit in exasperation.

"Lovely," Oboro says.

"Not like she'd get very far with it because well… you saw what Kasumi was about to do to Stain.. and me too apparently since I was standing in her way," Shōta says softly as he stares at his daughter with sad eyes. He's trying not to be hurt at the knowledge that his own daughter would hurt him in order to get revenge but he can't help the tight feeling in his throat that she admitted that she was going to.

"Oh, Shō," Oboro says softly as he wipes a tear off Shōta's cheek, he didn't even realize that he had teared up. "She wasn't thinking straight. She wouldn't actually hurt you if she were and you know that."

"I know, it's just the thought," Shōta says as blinks the tears away.

"I think she would have stopped herself once she realized what she was about to do. I don't believe that she'd actually hurt you or anyone else for that matter. Well, maybe Stain cause he fucking stabbed Izuku. You just yanked Stain away from her. If anything, she would have shoved you off to the side," Hitoshi says in hopes of comforting his dad.

"I agree. Like her last rage moment was during her entrance exam and she was going to harm her proctor because he antagonized the shit out of her but stopped herself when she realized what she was about to do and backed off," Oboro informs him and Shōta stares at him in shock. "I know I didn't tell you about it earlier and I'm sorry. She was just afraid that if you knew, you wouldn't let her enter the Hero Course."

"I still would have let her join, she's going to make a good hero so I'm not worried about that. Just worried that she's going to actually hurt someone without meaning to. I feel like it's definitely quirk based though since my Erasure responds to my anger. Probably genetic based as well so it's not something we can change in her, just something that she's going to have to learn how to manage," Shōta says softly as a pit of guilt forms in his chest.

"It's not your fault, Shō. It's just one of those things that can't be controlled or helped. We're lucky that they're uncommon," Oboro says with a small smile. "She'll get better as she gets older. You did so she'll figure it out as well. It'll just take a little bit of time."

"Yeah. She'll get there. Maybe with Izuku being in her life, her rage moments will become rare," Shōta says as he takes Oboro's hand in his and gives it a soft squeeze.

Izuku is discharged a couple of days later with restrictions until he's medically cleared. The dorm systems went up while the internships were happening. The students all move in the day before classes start back up for them. Shōta is sitting in the common room supervising them all moving their things in. As he's sitting there, his ears catch wind of a conversation so he listens:

"Hey, Deku-kun! We should go and get some ice cream together! Just me and you!" Uraraka suggests in excitement.

"No thank you. I know what you're trying to do and I don't have feelings for you like that, Uraraka. I have feelings for someone else and I'm not about to go out with another woman when I haven't even gone out on a date with the person I have feelings for," Izuku turns down the invitation before attempting to walk away from her.

"I don't see what's so damn great about her. Is it because she's hot?" Uraraka asks in annoyance.

"No, that's not what attracted me to her. It was her brain. She has almost the same brain as me and I like that. I'm an introvert, she's an extrovert. I'm shy and skittish, she's brave and confident. And for the record, she's not hot, she's beautiful, there's a difference," Izuku argues and a soft smile forms on Shōta's face.

"There's no difference," Uraraka snaps out.

"The term beautiful is a reference to everything about her, not just her appearance. It's a respectful term. Hot is a sexual term as it's only focusing on the physical aspects, not everything else. So Kasumi is beautiful, she's very beautiful and lovely," Izuku states firmly.

"And what about me?" Uraraka asks him.

"What about you? I'm not looking at you in that manner. Are you an attractive girl? Yes. Am I attracted to you? No. I only see you as a friend, I can't see myself being in a relationship with you," Izuku answers and Shōta just sips on his nonexistent tea that he's receiving.

"But you barely know her! You met me first!" Uraraka shouts at him.

"You don't even know me. She knows me. She knows things that I didn't even tell my own mother. You don't need to know someone forever to fall in love with them," Izuku states and Shōta's eyes widen in shock at hearing the 'L' word leaving Izuku's mouth. "It's like when you get a brand new five-hundred piece puzzle. You open it in excitement and dump all the pieces on the table in a hurry but you fail to notice that one of those pieces fell off the table and slid under the couch. You don't notice that it's missing until you get the whole puzzle put together. You start looking everywhere for it but fail to look under the couch because you don't think it's there. You give up eventually but leave the rest of the puzzle intact incase you find it. Then one random day, you're spring cleaning and move the couch and there it is, the missing piece. The puzzle is complete. The puzzle would be my life and Kasumi was my missing piece."

Shōta is now staring right at Izuku, not even bothering to hide the fact that he was listening in on the conversation. He could see the look on Uraraka's face before she scoffs and storms off in anger. He watches as Izuku sighs and rubs the back of his neck before making a motion to leave himself. "That was beautiful, Izuku," Shōta compliments softly and Izuku startles and stares at him with wide eyes. "You should probably tell Kasumi how you feel about her because that doesn't sound like a crush anymore. Sounds like you're in love with her."

A deep blush forms on Izuku's face as he sputters at him, "Wh-what?! D-don't be silly, Ai-Aizawa-Sensei!"

Shōta rolls his eyes at this boy, "Problem Child.. don't play stupid with me. I know what I heard and how passionate you were while saying all of that. You should tell her."

Izuku is still blushing deeply as he twists his fingers together, "I-I don't even know how I'd even go about doing that."

"Take her on a date, obviously. Just don't do what me and her daddy did. Definitely not the way to start a relationship but it worked for us. Just don't do that still cause I'll make you run the Hell Course throughout the entire duration," Shōta says as Izuku stares at him in confusion. "We started dating once he got pregnant."

Shōta tries not to laugh at the fact that Izuku has gotten impossibly redder while rapidly waving his arms around, "O-oh my g-gosh! N-no! I-I wouldn't do th-that to her!"

"Good cause I don't feel like becoming a grandpa at thirty-one years old," Shōta says while chuckling at Izuku's reaction to it all. "A date is simple. It doesn't involve becoming intimate. So just ask her if she'd like to have dinner with you."

It's a few days later that Shōta, Oboro and Hitoshi all watch Izuku nervously ask Kasumi out to dinner. They are a bit surprised by her deep blushed reaction to it but are glad that she agrees. When the two leave, Oboro turns to Shōta, "He's finally gonna ask her?"

"I would hope so since I literally witnessed him saying how he feels about her. Uraraka tried to get him to go out to ice cream with her the other day and he told her off and one of the things he mentioned was how he feels about Kasumi. Compared her to a puzzle piece that he was missing," Shōta informs him and Oboro vibrates in excitement.

"Oh my gosh! He's too cute!" Oboro gushes and Shōta snorts a bit at the reaction.

"Cupid really did just take a wrecking ball and smacked the shit out of him with it," Hitoshi giggles. "Hopefully he doesn't chicken out while asking to be his girlfriend slash confessing to her."

"He did build up enough courage to ask her out on a date so that's a step," Oboro says while nodding in excitement.

"Yeah and when are you going to build up enough courage to ask out your crush, Tosh?" Shōta teases and Oboro squeals.

"I don't have no stinking crush!" Hitoshi denies while blushing.

"That's a lie. I know you're crushing on Kaminari of all people," Shōta continues to tease him.

"Even if I do have a crush on him, he's not into guys! He's got the hots for Jiro!" Hitoshi says in defense and a small pout forms on Oboro's face.

"Aw, Tosh. It still wouldn't hurt to try. You never know, he might be masking. Like he's bi and he's just hiding it. A lot of guys do that because they are afraid of people's reactions," Oboro says in encouragement.

"I'm not going to do anything. I'd rather not get hurt," Hitoshi says with a slight pout.

"You still never know unless you try. It never hurts to try. Just start by, you know, being friends with him and see where it goes," Shōta suggests and Hitoshi huffs at that. Shōta just sighs softly and rubs the back of his neck, the boy is definitely like him; stubborn.

When Kasumi and Izuku arrive back from their dinner date, the three of them are spying on them through Oboro's office window upstairs. They watch as the two hug each other with Kasumi nuzzling Izuku's chest a bit. The three feel like they are on the edge of their seats when she tilts her head up to look up at Izuku who leans down a bit and lightly rubs noses with her before the two say bye and go their separate ways.

"What the frick was that?! Where was the smooch?!" Hitoshi says in exasperation.

"I know, right?! It would have been perfect!" Oboro says in agreement.

"You two are way too invested in this romance that's happening between the two of them," Shōta states and they both glare at him.

"And like you're not? You were watching too, dad," Hitoshi points out.

"I couldn't give a hoot," Shōta says and Oboro scoffs at him.

"He's lying, Tosh. He's just as invested, he just doesn't wanna seem like a nosey parker," Oboro says before blowing a raspberry at him.

"I am not. I'm just here to make sure my daughter is safe and is being treated properly. Obviously," Shōta says as he stands up and blows a raspberry right back at Oboro who pulls a face and wipes the spit off his face as Shōta laughs to himself.

"Nasty," Oboro grumbles.

"You don't have a problem with my spit being in other places," Shōta says with a wink and a smirk as Hitoshi gets a horrified look on his face.

"Ugh! I don't need to hear that, dad!" Hitoshi states in a scandalized manner before hightailing out of the office.

"You've traumatized him with that mental image, kitty cat," Oboro giggles as Shōta wraps his arms around him and pulls him close.

"Mmm, I don't care, I'm just dropping hints to you my love cloud," Shōta says softly before kissing him.

"Very naughty, Shōta Aizawa," Oboro whispers when Shōta moves on to start kissing him on the neck.

When Monday rolls around, Shōta has Hitoshi joining in on the joint lesson between the two first year hero classes. "Alright you hellspawn, this is Hitoshi Shinsou. He'll be joining in on today's lesson so he can show you all that he has what it takes to enter the Hero Course," Shōta says as he introduces him to the forty kids.

"I mean, I'd say that he already has what it takes since he was the one who spotted Iida about to do something stupid in Hosu during internships," Todoroki says as Iida gives the peppermint haired boy a betrayed look.

"We don't talk about that," Iida says while chopping his arm at him. "I'd be slightly more convinced if he can be as terrifying as his sister."

"Yeah, pretty sure Stain shit a whole ass brick when she was coming for him with her kusarigama," Hitoshi says in agreement and there's a snort from Izuku and Todoroki.

"Definitely lives up to the whole 'scarier than the scariest villain' thing. She'd be the last person I'd want to cross paths with. Could you do that, Shinsou?" Iida asks him.

"I mean, I can brainwash you and make you streak," Hitoshi says while lacing his quirk into his voice.

"How scan.." Iida goes to shout at him but Hitoshi catches him.

Hitoshi smirks as he gives the order, "Strip naked and run around Ground Beta."

Iida goes to start stripping as everyone gasps and Izuku quickly breaks Hitoshi's hold on Iida. "Hito, that's inappropriate!" Izuku scolds.

"Wanna know what else is inappropriate?" Hitoshi asks and Izuku gives him a questioning look. "You not giving my sister a smooch after y'alls date. Gave her a hug and rubbed noses? Lame!"

Izuku sputters at that as all eyes are on him now, "Why were you watching us?!"

"Cause she's my little sister. Need to make sure you don't pull a fast one and do what our parents did. I'm not ready to be an uncle, I don't have the cool uncle vibes yet," Hitoshi says mischievously as Izuku blushes.

Hitoshi is doing a Muttley style laugh as Izuku scolds him, "Mind your business! It was just dinner!"

"Oh you're right, Izu, the second date is when the action usually happens," Hitoshi corrects himself while laughing and Shōta smacks him.

"Stop teasing him or you'll be running the Hell Course later," Shōta scolds him and Hitoshi pouts from behind his capture weapon. "Alright, let's go ahead and get the lesson started!"

Shōta and Vlad stand back as they watch the kids all sparring with each other. "So, Midoriya asked her out?" Vlad asks.

"Just out to dinner. They haven't made anything official," Shōta answers. "The little nose thing that they did was very sweet though. She was flustered by it just about the rest of the night."

"Oh, to be young again. These kids all falling in love for the first time makes me want to go back to when we were young just to experience it all over again," Vlad says with a soft sigh.

"Yeah. I wouldn't change anything for the world though. I like where my life has taken me," Shōta says in agreement as he smiles fondly from behind his capture weapon.

The end of the day arrives and Shōta is sitting in the common room grading papers when Kirishima's nervous form catches his eye as he approaches Hitoshi, who is studying with Izuku, so he tunes into what's going on:

"Hey um, Hitobro?" Kirishima says shyly and Hitoshi looks up from what he's doing and gives him a questioning look.

"Hey Kiri, what's up?" Hitoshi says and Shōta can see the look of confusion on his son's face and he's just as confused.

"Um, I was kinda wondering if you'd like to um.. go to dinner with me? Like smoothies and a couple of those protein bowls from that new place up the street?" Kirishima asks and Shōta is just as shocked at the invitation as Hitoshi is. He watches as Izuku quickly darts away to give the two privacy and sits down next to him as it's obvious that he still intends to listen in.

Hitoshi is gesturing to himself in confusion, "Like.. like you're asking me out on a date or as friends?"

Kirishima rubs the back of his neck as he blushes, "A date."

Shōta sees Izuku's wide eyed look of shock and he knows that he's making the same shocked expression. A blush forms on Hitoshi's face as he fidgets nervously, "I see. Um.. I um.... You know what? Yes, a dinner date with you sounds nice actually."

"Really?!" Kirishima asks him in excitement and Hitoshi's blush deepens as he nods his head. "Awesome! I'll let you finish studying first then we can go!"

"I um, I can always finish later if you want to go now," Hitoshi offers and Kirishima quickly nods his head before gesturing for Hitoshi to follow.

The two watch the pair leave before Izuku smacks Shōta roughly in the chest, "I'm hallucinating right?"

Shōta swats Izuku's hand off his chest, "No, Problem Child, you're not. Tosh really just left to go on a date with Kirishima."

"But I thought Hito had a crush on Kaminari," Izuku says in confusion.

"He does but that doesn't mean he's going to pass up the opportunity to get to know someone who likes him like that. He might find that he clicks with Kirishima better," Shōta says while shrugging.

"That's true. He could. Both Kiri and Kami have that golden retriever energy," Izuku says with a soft hum.

"Yeah, us introverts really know how to attract the hyper ones, huh?" Shōta says with a smirk and Izuku just nods his head. "So. When are you actually going to ask her to be your girlfriend?"

A light blush forms on Izuku's face, "We um. We decided to wait on that. We wanna get to know each other better before taking the next step."

"I see. Well there's certainly nothing wrong with that," Shōta says as he stands up then pats Izuku on the head. "Just as long as you both treat each other with respect, all will be fine and dandy."

"Yes sir," Izuku says with a small smile.

A couple of months pass and Hitoshi has transferred into Class A. The mid-year exam is about to happen and the forty-one students are all nervously standing in front of Shōta, Vlad and Nezu waiting to hear what their exam is going to be.

"So children, you all will be facing off against two first year students from Shiketsu who recently got their Provisional Licenses," Nezu announces and the students all become confused by that.

"So our exam is fighting off two other students? That's too easy," Monoma laughs. "Oh man! This is the biggest joke ever!"

A chill all races down their spines as they hear a disembodied sounding voice laughing, "Easy? You think this is going to be easy. Oh you poor naive pretty boy. You're an idiot if you think we'd go easy on all of you."

A thick black mist moves out in front of them all and pauses next to Shōta before Kasumi turns back into herself then she opens a portal and Yoarashi steps through with a huge smile on his face. He grasps onto Kasumi's shoulders as he spots Izuku, "Oh! Is that the Midoriya boy you've been dating, Aizawa-chan?!"

She swats him off her, "Yes, now stop yelling, you giant."

"You have good taste! He's handsome!' Yoarashi yells out loudly and Kasumi pinches the bridge of her nose with her fingers as Izuku blushes a bit. "Oops, sorry. Still yelling."

Nezu clears his throat as he introduces the two, "So children, this young lady is Kasumi Aizawa, hero name Kurogiri, and this young man is Inasa Yoarashi, hero name Gale Force. You all will be facing them in a hero versus villain battle. They will be acting as the two villains while you all are going to be the heroes. And before I hear any more snide remarks, there is a reason that these two already have their Provisional Licenses and that reason is, is that they are..," Nezu pauses for dramatic effect with a toothy grin in his face, "simply better than all of you." The forty-one students all start speaking angrily and loudly as Nezu, Kasumi and Yoarashi start laughing.

"Okay okay, quiet down!" Shōta instructs before he explains the exam to them all then sends Kasumi and Yoarashi out into Ground Gamma first before sending in the others.

The three stand back and watch as their students go up against the other two. Their students are going to need a lot of work to even get to the same level as the two Shiketsu students. The only one who is at least on par with the two is Izuku and that's because he's been training with Kasumi after school. Shōta knows just how hard she pushes herself so it's no surprise to him that she's pushed Izuku as well. He still can't help but to be on guard while watching his kids battling. He's not worried about them hurting one another, it's more of one of them getting hurt, especially as Kasumi has now moved herself between Yoarashi; who has his back turned on Kamakiri; his opponent.

They all watch as a look of horror appears on Kamakiri's face at seeing Kasumi putting herself between the two of them. What they didn't expect was for her to turn herself in a portal as he comes into contact with her and sends him off into the mini jail cell out on the testing ground. Shōta hides the lower half of his face behind his capture weapon as he tries not to laugh at everyone's reactions to it because now the students see that it's not going to be as easy as they all had originally thought.

Shōta's just glad that Kasumi isn't just portalling all of them off to the little jail cell, she's at least giving them a fighting chance at sparring with her. It's obvious to him that she's benefited from training with Izuku as well as her hand-to-hand movements have become similar to Izuku's own.

"Looks like Yoarashi is going to be challenging Midoriya," Vlad points out and Shōta shifts his focus on one of the other monitors to watch.

"Wind versus wind. They're just going to make a big ass mess," Shōta grumbles as Izuku flicks and kicks large gusts at Yoarashi who is throwing out his own attacks. Shōta catches sight of Kasumi going after Hitoshi and just based on his son's expression he knows that the boy had let out some kind of noise as he's blushing in embarrassment since Kasumi is also laughing as she goes after her older brother.

Shōta snorts out some laughter as Hitoshi visibly yelps as she trips him and he falls straight into a portal and into the mini jail cell. He really tries not to laugh at Hitoshi's angry pout as he turns his attention back onto the main screen. Shōta watches as Izuku manages to get the upper hand on Yoarashi and slaps the quirk suppressing cuffs onto him, knocking him out of the battle.

When it was just Izuku and Kasumi left, everyone was watching with bated breath on how this battle is going to turn out. They watch as Kasumi uses her portals to her advantage in order to keep pace with Izuku's speed as they spar against each other. When she opens a stray portal, her kusarigama's chain flying out of it and wrapping itself around Izuku who is obviously caught by surprise as he was too distracted by the sparring. They gasp a bit when she turns into her mist form, making herself into a small tornado and taking Izuku along for the ride. Izuku wraps his arm around the chain before she's able to release him from her hold to sling him into a now open portal and he gives the chain a strong yank, pulling her out of her mist form and heading straight for him. Her shocked expression quickly turns into a smirk as once she's within touching distance, she grabs him by the head and pulls him for a kiss.

Shōta can see Izuku's shocked expression and he's just as shocked as well because this would technically be the pair's first real kiss. He watches as Izuku quickly melts into it and pulls her closer as he returns the gesture. When she pulls away, he can see the mischievous smirk on his daughter's face and reads her lips as she informs Izuku that she got him and will owe him later. A quick look of betrayal appears on Izuku's face as she turns into a portal and sends him off to the jail cell, leaving her the last one standing.

Shōta looks over at the jail cell when he hears his son's laughter, "Oh my god! She got you good, Gikei!"

Izuku has his face hidden with his hood and mouth guard as he groans in embarrassment for falling for Kasumi's last minute devious plan, "Shut up, Toshi."

Class B is all staring at Izuku in shock. "Uh, you're seriously dating Aizawa's daughter?" Monoma asks in disbelief.

"You just saw us fucking kissing right or are you blind?" Izuku asks in annoyance.

Kasumi portals herself into the jail cell with the students and drapes herself over Izuku's back as she giggles, "Awww Zu! Are you sour cause I tricked you a smidgen?!"

"Yes, that was a dirty trick, how dare you," Izuku says while pouting.

She giggles at his pout as she pulls back his hood to see him glaring at her in betrayal, "You gotta admit, it was a bit spicy. Hero villain love story with a plot twist of betrayal at the end. Enemies to lovers then lovers to enemies trope."

"You've obviously been reading too much fan fiction," Izuku points out while trying not to laugh.

"Says 'GreenDekuBunny'," Bakugou says with a smirk and Izuku gives him a wide eyed look that's screaming for Bakugou to shut up.

Kasumi slaps Izuku on the chest as she gives Izuku a look of elated shock, "Oh my gah! You gotta show me, Zu! I wanna read your work!"

"I ain't showing you shit," Izuku says while blushing deeply.

"I'll show you. He just did an update last night with his O.C. fic. It was a very smutty chapter," Bakugou says.

"Shut up, Kacchan!" Izuku squeaks out in embarrassment and Bakugou and Hitoshi both start laughing hysterically.

"What?!" Kasumi shouts in excitement as she starts shaking Izuku around. "You're writing the spicy and haven't shared with me?! So greedy, Zu!"

"No! It's supposed to be a hidden guilty pleasure, dammit!" Izuku says in protest as she continues shaking him around.

"No! We should collab! It would be fun!" Kasumi says as Izuku tries to get her off him. "I have a large following! 'MistyNightingale'!" Izuku stops and stares at her with wide eyes as a deep blush forms on his face. "Oh? So you've read my stuff have you? Now we really need to collab since you're aware of what I write!"

Shōta sees bright red blushes form on both Hitoshi and Bakugou's faces so he safely assumes that the two have read whatever Kasumi has been writing as well, "I don't even wanna know. I'm honestly afraid."

They set the students free as Kasumi piggybacks Izuku as she's still trying to persuade him, "It'd be fun, Zu. We could…" she starts whispering in his ear and a deep blush forms on Izuku's face.

When she pulls away from whispering in his ear, he turns his head to stare at her as she wiggles her brows at him, "I'll think about it."

She hums as she leans into him more, "Imma take that as a yes. I'll make a doc for it later and add you as an editor."

"Also, Kacchan writes too. 'SpicyWuverzKacchan' is his name," Izuku informs her and Bakugou lets out an angry shout of betrayal at being called out. "That's what you get, Kacchan, maybe not tell the entire first year Heroics class my hidden fic persona."

"So does Tosh. I saw him updating a few days ago. His is 'SleepyPurrrpleKitten'," Kasumi giggles as Hitoshi lets out an indignant squawk.

Shōta has his face hidden in his capture scarf as he laughs to himself at the four now discovered fiction writers calling each other out in front of everyone. He stops laughing as soon as Hitoshi makes a retort, "Well at least I don't write highly detailed, toe curling smut as a pastime, Kasumi. Mine's all dark humor, crack and angst."

"What do you think Kacchan's is? He's got a lot of quirk use kink stuff in his," Izuku states, coming to Kasumi's defense in an odd way.

"You damn nerd! You're one to fucking talk! You got a lot of BDSM shit in yours!" Bakugou calls Izuku out.

"At least mine is smut with a plot! Yours is just straight smut!" Izuku says in defense.

"It has a damn plot and the plot is getting off," Bakugou states while jabbing Izuku in the chest.

"That's not a plot, dumbass. A good plot requires having an established trope. Like friends to enemies to lovers. Make that shit slow burn. One of the friends betrays the other due to jealousy but the one who was betrayed isn't aware of the others feelings until way later then bada-bing bada-boom, they fuck," Kasumi says before laughing.

"Way too damn long!" Bakugou argues.

"Oh really? So are you telling me that you've never read any of my stuff because I saw you and Tosh both blushing when I mentioned my fic persona," Kasumi points out while wiggling her brows at him, causing Bakugou to blush a bit. "Yeeeaaahhh, that's what I thought explody boii. You like the slow burn, you just don't have the patience to write it yourself."

"What the fuck ever," Bakugou grumbles as the three laugh at him.

"What if we all collabbed together? That could be fun," Hitoshi suggests.

"I highly doubt Kacchan would last," Izuku says as he makes a quick hand jerk motion before making an explosion with his fingers.

Kasumi has her face buried between Izuku's neck and shoulder as she laughs and Hitoshi is in a squatted position and laughing into his knees. "You fucker! Like you would know you bastard!" Bakugou roars out while making explosions.

"See? He finished too quickly," Izuku says while laughing, only causing Bakugou to roar out incoherent words.

Shōta and the others all stood there watching the four of them all go at it while picking on each other. He didn't know what to think, learning that his daughter is writing spicy stuff and that those three boys have all read it and write their own things as well. He just shakes his head quickly as to toss out that knowledge before dismissing everyone. He doesn't fail to notice that Kasumi gives Izuku a goodbye kiss before she portals her and Yoarashi away.

The students all have one week off before summer camp and Shōta and Oboro both find that their house is full of teens. Kasumi, Hitoshi, Izuku, Kirishima and Bakugou. All five of them are sitting around their coffee table with laptops in front of them and typing away as they all come up with a storyline. Shōta safely assumes that Kirishima has joined them on this adventure due to Hitoshi as he can tell that he's the least experienced of the group but is still trying so he gives him an A for effort.

He and Oboro just go upstairs to work on stuff. Shōta grading papers and Oboro coming up with training regimens for Shiketsu's first year Hero students for their own summer camp. When they go back down stairs to start dinner, they see that the five of them are all taking turns writing.

"So, how far are you guys?" Oboro asks in curiosity, he had no idea that his two kids were doing this kind of stuff until Shōta had informed him of it.

"We're almost done, papa," Hitoshi answers. "When there's five people working on something, it gets done quickly."

"I see," Oboro says with a hum before he gives Shōta a look who just shrugs his shoulders and goes into the kitchen.

"Better than them beating each other up," Shōta grumbles and Oboro giggles as he follows him.

Once dinner was finished and eaten, the five all decided to watch a movie. Judging by the way Izuku is holding Kasumi against him, he safely assumes that the two have finally made their relationship official. He can tell that Hitoshi and Kirishima are still in the shy stages of getting to know each other and Bakugou just completely ignores the two pairs.

"Fifth wheeling over there, Bakugou?" Shōta asks.

"Eh, I don't care about stuff. I'm aromantic. Do I like the idea of sex? Yes. Do I want a romantic relationship? No. I have no desire for a romantic relationship," Bakugou explains to him.

"Ah so that's why your shit has zero plot. Makes more sense now," Hitoshi says with a slight hum. "Just going at it like rabbits."

"Nothing wrong with just wanting sex. I just hope I don't knock anyone up in the future. That'd be a pain in the ass cause I don't want kids," Bakugou grumbles.

"Then get snipped," Izuku suggests. "Get it done after graduation. Hell, I'll even help you pay for it as a graduation gift."

"Oh yeah? And what about you? You really wanting to pass on that quirkless gene of yours and risk your kids getting bullied like you?" Bakugou asks with a raised brow.

"I'd fucking portal their bitch asses off somewhere else if they try to bully our babies," Kasumi states firmly and a deep blush forms on Izuku's face.

"Daaaammmn nerd, you hear that shit? She's already planning on procreating with you," Bakugou teases and Izuku gives him a blushing glare.

"And what's wrong with that? I think me and Izuku would make cute babies together," Kasumi says in defense as Shōta and Oboro give her wide eyed looks.

"There's nothing wrong with it, Bakubro is just teasing. Those babies would be very cute," Kirishima says as he attempts at being the peacekeeper.

"Ain't saying they wouldn't be cute kids. Simply pointing out the gene thing," Bakugou states.

"Yeah, they might come across someone like you, Kacchan," Izuku growls.

"I apologized to you, dammit. I'm at least trying to make myself a better person, thank you," Bakugou growls back.

"I'm referring to the old you. I know you're trying so I respect you for that at least," Izuku says as he pulls Kasumi closer to him and lightly nuzzles the back of her neck.

"Do I even want to know?" Shōta asks with a deadpan expression on his face.

"Let's just say that I've done and said some things that I regret," Bakugou answers with a heavy sigh.

The day for summer camp arrives and Shōta can't help the sadistic pleasure at hearing his students running around and fighting off the earth beasts that were created after he had tricked them off the bus. He gets back on the bus and heads straight to the camp to wait for his students. When they arrive, he tries not to laugh at their exhausted forms.

The next day, training starts and he walks around making sure that everyone is training their quirks properly. He's glad that Izuku volunteered himself to be Hitoshi's practice to start training more with his quirk. He knows that Izuku will help to the best of his ability.

It's during the jump scare forest that the training camp is attacked. Shōta rushes around helping everyone he can while fighting off obvious clones of one of the villains. When Izuku appears with Kota in tow, he tells them both to go and hide somewhere. Shōta couldn't help the look of horror on his face as his student disappeared right in front of him, then spots a masked villain standing on top of the roof. He gives chase but ultimately loses sight of them and can't help the tears running down his face as he's grown very attached to Izuku and does see him as part of his family.

When he hears Hitoshi's blood curdling scream, he takes off running again and sees his son as well as a few others all staring at an empty field. He can see that Hitoshi's arms have both been badly burned as he sits on the ground sobbing.

Shōta rushes up to him and kneels down next to him, "Tosh?"

"Th-they took him.. th-they took Izu.. I-I tried so hard to save him.. I-I tried, dad.. Izu.. Izu let go of my hand cause I-I was get-getting burned.. and-and now he's g-gone," Hitoshi sobs out as Shōta pulls him into a hug. "Ka-Kasumi is-is going to ha-hate me."

"No she's not, Tosh. You tried. Trying is a lot better than just standing and watching. I promise you, she isn't going to hate you. We'll get him back somehow, we'll find him," Shōta reassures him.

Emergency services arrive and everyone is taken to the hospital. Shōta sits with the still crying Hitoshi as Oboro and Kasumi arrive. The two wrap Hitoshi up in a hug. Shōta watches as his daughter's heart breaks at hearing what all had happened and that Izuku was taken by the villains. He's glad that she reassures Hitoshi herself that she doesn't hate him because at least he tried and that's what mattered to her.

Shōta is dragged away to the press conference when the battle at Kamino starts. He sees a large man wearing a black helmet standing there and it's obvious that the man has something to announce:

"Hello Japan, it is I, All For One! Long time no see! It has been almost eleven years since my last assault on Japan! I now have in possession the quirk that I've been trying to get back for the last a hundred and fifty years! Well, the boy hasn't given it to me yet, no, more like I haven't forced out of him yet!" All For One announces and Shōta pales as a slimy portal opens and Izuku falls through it. All For One yanks Izuku up by his hair, "Give One For All back, Ninth! The quirk belongs to me!"

"Fuck off! The quirk belongs to One For All! You're just the bastard that locked your own damn brother up like he was some kind of prized possession! You're nothing but a monster!" Izuku cries out before he's getting a knee to the face then kicked in the gut.

All For One picks Izuku up by his hair and holds him up like that as he gestures to the camera, "This is what happens when I'm defied! If the Ninth holder doesn't give up the quirk, I will kill him to set an example! So, Ninth! Are you going to give it up?!"

"I'd rather the quirk die with me than give it to the likes of you!" Izuku seethes.

Shōta feels tears running down his face as he watches All For One’s arm turn into a large blade and how Izuku keeps on his brave face, clearly not going to give in to the threat before him. His breath catches as All For One swings the blade, it being aimed at Izuku's neck only for it to disappear in the last second, All For One’s arm being turned back to normal; obviously catching the villain off guard.

In the next second, a black portal opens up behind All For One and he's getting the blade of a kusarigama stuck right into the face of his helmet. All For One grabs the handle of it and yanks it out as well as yanking an enraged Kasumi out of the portal. He drops Izuku and reaches for her, his hand glowing but his hand just phases through her as she lunges forward to attack him again.

All For One dodges it and floats up in the air, "Powerful quirks like yours are problematic, girl!"

She ignores him and slices through the quirk suppressing cuffs that Izuku is wearing. Izuku speaks softly to her and Shōta can't tell what he's saying before the two are kissing. When Izuku pulls away from it, he activates his quirk and begins his battle with All For One while Kasumi suspends herself in the air in a half mist form. It's clear to Shōta that she's focusing on something.

As Izuku and All For One's battle ensues, a small black portal appears in front of Kasumi then sparks of yellow energy start flickering around her in a similar fashion as Izuku's quirk does. That's when it clicks in Shōta's head; Izuku shared One For All with Kasumi when they kissed just moments before.

When she starts going all out in order to open whatever portal she's trying to open, that's when All For One notices her newfound ability. "What did you do, you quirkless brat?!" He shouts at Izuku as he takes a swing at the boy.

Izuku gives All For One a malicious smirk, "That's for me to know and for you to find out, you bipedal ballsack!"

Shōta's eyes widen in shock as he watches his daughter open the biggest portal he's ever seen. What makes everything seem dead still is that everyone can see into the portal and it's the sun. Kasumi had focused on opening a portal to the sun and it's obvious that Izuku fully intends on throwing All For One into the now open portal.

"Black Hole Sun!" Kasumi shouts as Izuku wraps the villain up with Black Whip and throws all his strength behind it as he whips the man around and slingshots him straight into the portal where Kasumi immediately closes the portal; leaving All For One to the mercy of the yellow dwarf.

Shōta can tell that One For All leaves Kasumi and returns to Izuku as red lines appear over Izuku's skin before there's a small blast of air pressure. She gives Izuku a weak smile before the obvious wave of quirk exhaustion hits her and she starts falling. Izuku quickly catches her and holds her closely as he slowly lands back on the ground. Emergency services all start rushing up to the pair as the camera is still on the two of them. A soft smile forms on Shōta's face as he reads their lips as they tell each other, 'I love you.'
