| Short summary - “Error” - is a Multiverse full of complicated facts that will need thorough analysis/explanation to clearly understand. A story that is both similar to canon and fanon but has its own original twists and turns. Where one had tried to bend FATE to their will but failed and further brought disaster than what was originally intended. A story of which, with one conscious choice, a story filled with fear became a story filled with pain.

About an AU

| The (sanses) characters are not the same person. Rather they are people in the same situation. Imagine copies of paper, every paper is the same story but the ink is not. Think to yourself that the paper is the alternative universe and the ink is the people; it’ll give a more subtle impression that they are not the same. Of course, every paper will have its differences once those differences are made.

World Building

The beginning of time

| The beginning started with the CREATOR . Ancient text depicted that this unknown unnamed God created the world by accident. There was no proof provided, after all, how could there be? 

The God was neither human nor monster. It was nothing but a vast void, no form, no matter. Ancient shrines had statues of a humanoid figure with pointy ears. Most shrines all had the same appearance, it was later depicted as the CREATOR ’s true form. But no one will ever know if it truly was the truth. 

The creation of the world was often told to children at school before it was eventually forgotten due to a mass genocide that almost wiped the entirety of humanity. 

The cause of this genocide?: monsters. No one knows where they came from, they just showed up one day and they stayed. Humans will say that the CREATOR made them as a form of punishment. When in reality, it was mostly due to evolution of science that monsters came to be. 

A war was waged. As humanity looked down upon the monsters. Not claiming them as their own, as they had something humanity never had. Magic. 

Confused, and frustrated. Monsters fought with all their might, winning the war but soon sealed under the world.

The Golden years

| Due to near extinction on the humans' part, and the cruelty of the monster's situation; three new Gods were made. When humans first saw GAIA they were relieved. Thinking they made the right decision with banishing the monsters . GAIA - otherwise known as NIM gifted them prosperity and security, filling the world with renewed nature that made the humans feel safe and warm. Thus, to this day there were still old shrines built for her . 

DEATH was the one who showed up for the monsters. The first skeleton monster ever seen, they were wary of course. But with guidance, and with confidence, the monsters built a kingdom for themselves. DEATH was also given the opportunity to rule over them, but he declined, instead nominating someone who he saw fitting as he ascended back to the Gods realm. 

FATE never showed up, but he was also given respect as the monsters saw and heard how DEATH seemed fond of him. Thus, eventually having shrines built for the two of them always being linked close. 

The mystery of where the first God went and how these three came to be had always been an unsolved mystery. No one knows, and no one will ever know.

The end of all ends

| Years after the Gods re-ascended (returned to their realm), catastrophe began. A crazed human, with the thirst for something more (magic) dug up how to remove the seal so he can go through. It took him several years but he eventually made it through. 

He disguised himself with a perfectly crafted suit that made it seem as if he’s an animal hybrid and lived there for years in lue of research. He studied how humans will manage to achieve what monsters have. And that is the story of how the human souls came to be. 

How based on their emotions alone, they can have more power than monsters do. Until eventually, he was found out by the king and beheaded. His research, because of his paranoia, was never found as he hid it well. 

That was only the beginning as a human found his theory, and not only perfected it but also used it to wage another war against the monsters as humanity wanted them gone . 

The war lasted longer than the old one, as both sides were prepared and ready to fight. But it didn’t end there, due to personal problems, the three Gods in their realm also had their fallout. 

Due to GAIA ’s ire, the world began to rot, volcanoes began erupting, the land cracked and cracked until civilization crumbled to dust. All of this happening alongside the war. Humans believed it was the monster's fault, while the monsters believed it was humanity’s. 

DEATH was busy helping countless souls to pass through the bridge and onto his realm, because of this he hadn’t been around to know what happened to FATE and GAIA. All he knew was that they fought, FATE died and the world was in disarray.

A chance for a new beginning

| Once both humanity and the monsters were certain that the border was sealed, they settled down again. Humanity took longer as GAIA never showed up like she did before, while DEATH tried to offer his help whenever he could. 

It was a slow but certain process that both realms were proud of. Eventually new doors opened, as the world became one, and two, then eventually more than one could count. Every choice, and every decision had different outcomes that made their very own worlds.

One of which was a universe now known as “Aftertale”, a world filled with pain as history repeated itself and genocide upon genocide happened over and over again as a human played with time . 

GAIA paid it no mind, DEATH helped the souls cross over again and again and again. Eventually, something changed . The main victim did something that wasn’t supposed to happen and got herself stuck into one of DEATH ’s miserable voids. 

There, DEATH sympathized with the woman and eventually liked her. Although he knew they cannot be together he still came back and talked to her. 

That was until they accidentally brushed their hands. DEATH was certain that his companion would fade to dust, but instead red strings started appearing from her hands and it wrapped around herself. 

The woman didn’t know what was happening but DEATH knew. And to say he was happy and relieved would have been an understatement. Not only would he have a chance to love the woman he first loved, the world would also eventually be back in order. 

Of course, without FATE to keep things in check, the world and its history ran astray, something GAIA and DEATH never knew how to handle. 

And so, that was the day FATE was reborn.

The birth of DESTRUCTION and CREATION

| With things now in order and with DEATH and the new FATE settled down. Two new balance orders had been created, two universes personally overseen by FATE. 

With it came new rules, and laws written and personally enforced by FATE . After all, the balance between all the universes is overseen by her. All her work must not crumble just because of new balance holders.

The birth of a never ending war

| GAIA throughout all of the years FATE was resettling back, had made her own universe and created a peaceful land for herself. But alas, she was hunted down and nearly stripped down of her powers as she made a last ditch effort and made the twins that we now know as Dream and Nightmare . 

With her restoring back her strength by years worth of sleep was ignorance to what is happening to her ‘children’ . Not seeing nor knowing anything until she was cut off, and completely stripped of her power once Nightmare cut her down. 

She was rendered mortal as she refused to ask for help, not to DEATH and especially not to FATE. She didn’t die out of old age, Nightmare found her and beheaded her, using her head as a trophy he had always been proud of. 

Nightmare with the intention of ruling the world, recruited the most ruthless and powerful henchmen he could. But if he wasn’t able to puppet them, he’d have them killed. 

For years, Nightmare and Ink were in an endless war until Dream came into the picture. With hope that Dream could go against Nightmare they trained and trained Dream until eventually he was nearly on par with Nightmare . 

Everyone thought it would be a war that would last for an eternity, until.. it seemed as if the whole multiverse resetted on its own. No one remembered. No one even knew of its existence because it was wiped out. Rewritten.

The Reset

| FATE sat idle as she watched the war play out. Her husband, restless due to countless souls he had to deal with, that was caused by the never ending war. 

She was quite frankly unbothered by it. Though she does feel pity, she’s lost most of her sympathy due to her occupation. It seemed that something she would have felt sad for in the past now seemed nothing but an inconvenience to her.

She had the ability to change the outcome. But she found that it went against her own rules. Eventually she became tired of seeing her husband so restless that she caved.

Bending her own rules for her beloved. But first, she wanted to get to know the characters personally before she made a choice of what paragraph of the story she should tweek. 

While her meeting with Nightmare might have been a mistake on her part, she found that she didn’t quite mind as the kid was adorable (her words). 

The day she came back was the day a story was rewritten. A memory of it is only reminisced by her and her husband. Alongside a certain kid she found fascinating (she saw herself in the kid. Thus giving him the opportunity to remember.) 

With that choice in mind, she had been able to change the story. In more ways than one.

Gods

General information

| The first god - the CREATOR - is canonically unnamed for lore purposes. The god has a name but it canonically was lost to time due to all the catastrophes that happened. Shrines - old, broken and abandoned - still exist although it isn’t as known nor intercepted as most of the carved/written words had faded over time.

There are three powerful gods among all. 

(Originally, the CREATOR is a part of that but they don’t exist any more.)

FATE - is canonically the wisest God. With the ability of knowing everything and anything before it was even made. FATE also has the ability of creation - as FATE is nothing without it. 

DEATH - is canonically the most powerful God. He is also the most popular/friendliest, and while that may not seem of importance, it kind of is. To help others to cross the realms, the very God in charge of that must be good at communication. 

DEATH also has the ability of life - after all, if it has an end, there must be a start right? ( Creation and life are two different things.) 

GAIA - is canonically the most respected God. Due to her ability with both life and death , as well as her complete control of any emotions (Gods are unaffected by that.)

GAIA while not truly cruel, is not nice either. 

(Further abilities about the Gods will be seen further below.)

• Gods canonically cannot die under any circumstances unless they were killed by their own powers. 

• An example of that is FATE’s death. FATE was so enraged that he hadn’t realized he fell into his own bundle of strings. These strings are semi-sentient, while not fully alive, their actions are in sync with their owner. By control or by emotion. FATE truly was blinded by rage at that moment that his strings thought the one who fell was the enemy and he eventually combusted with how strong his strings were trapping him.

Gods as well as Embodiments, once they died their body never disintegrates, unless their death would entail for their body to be destroyed beyond repair.

• The old FATE for example died, and his body turned to dust.  

Religions

DEATH — “Súityon“ — It is believed that this is the tradition of monsters, especially people who obsess over dark magic.

GAIA — “Éunoía” — This was the actual religion set on only the Dreamtale Au

FATE — “Onéiràtaxía” — No one actually knows what kind of religion this is, it’s just there .

Aios changed to Syíū when Geno took over, breaking the traditional A

DEATHs religion was the first one to ever be made, and the religion of monsters. Humans claim that it’s a curse of a thing, and that it’s very fitting as monsters are deathical creatures. Monsters does feel offended although not because of the disrespect they get but the disrespect their god receives. 

• Blood and life sacrifices are the most often things they ‘offer’, no one knows if it works but they do it to pay respect and give their thanks. Their most gruesome ways to offer are mostly, stake burning, beheading, torture and finally, cannibalism. 

GAIA ’s are way more peaceful than death’s is. Nim created this religion when she created Dreamtale (yes she created the au then started living in it), humans and monsters alike respected the religion a lot. 

• Food and gifts are the main offerings, more often than not Spanish food and traditions as Dreamtale was located somewhere in spain. 

FATE ’s religion is the one they called “Old one” only really old people knows about it (and most of them are dead before the very first 1000 century), and it’s mostly seen in books. Hence Nightmare knowing about it. It’s said to be the religion of any kind, always believed to be the strings that bind the world/multiverse. 

• Offerings could be anything, but the most offered thing is knowledge, and candles. People often make a circle of candles in a pitch black room and rely anything they know. It could be something stupid or something that really matters, no one cares, it’s a way to show respect. 

Facts

| Gods can canonically shapeshift - therefore they can always look however they want, be that be they look younger or older, human or monster. Either way, they can look however they want. 

• A God’s offspring will age slowly. What is 15 years for humans is merely one year for a Godling. 
• Gods have photographic memory (meaning they can remember nearly anything and everything with some exceptions)

DEATH — The God of Death, Life and Freedom. 

• Master of Neutrality - a highly respected figure among monsters. 

DEATH is the one who takes after not only the deceased but also new life forms, whether that is human, monsters, animal or plant. As long as it’s both the beginning and the end of one’s life, he’s the one who takes after it. 

• DEATH is always described either as a myth or a scary story as a Skeleton Monsters engulfed by a dark never ending flowing cloak. A scythe at hand and a cruel smile. (While most of it is true, the cruel smile is not.)

The creation of Reapertale was a cluster tornado that wasn’t and never was supposed to happen . Its creation happened when FATE ( Geno ) still had little control of her abilities and she wasn’t able to stop it. Although the damage had already been done and she cannot just erase a whole universe that had the balance shifted so bad that she was preoccupied for years to come. If she did try to eradicate the world, not only would the multiverse itself recreate said universe because of the sudden gap of energy, she would also be more preoccupied trying to keep it alive and so on. Therefore both DEATH and FATE had to leave it. (Eventually fitting in and living there)

• Reapertale Gods are less powerful, they are powerful, indeed. But subjects are more powerful and in order than them. 

GAIA — The God of Feelings, Life and Prosperity.

• Master of Nature ( - Guardian of the Tree of Feelings) - a highly beloved God among humans.

GAIA otherwise known as NIM , are often worshiped for having created the world’s life forms such as greenery and animals. 

• GAIA (NIM) is always described as a woman with wood-like skin and forest-like hair that could bear fruits and flowers. (Having a similar appearance to that of a tree).

FATE — The God of Fate, Creation and Order. 

• Master of Wisdom ( - the new FATE - Geno is also known as Madam Death) - a highly respected God among both humans and monsters but eventually forgotten by humanity.

FATE is canonically a CREATOR God as most of the world’s inventions either came from the old or the new fate. Things such as music, art, story and etcetera. While they may have not made it personally, FATE wrote it so that someone else did. Like creating a story and having someone else read it and replicate it.

• The Old FATE was described to have pitch black skin with red swirls curling around his arms. It was also said that the God is seen wearing a white and gold colored cloak. 
• The New FATE (Geno) is otherwise described to have snow white skin (the palest complexion anyone has ever seen). A completely white cloak with a short white veil covering most of her face, with the brightest red tear marks falling down her cheeks. 

Embodiments

History and facts

| “What exactly is an embodiment?” - it is in other words replacement Gods . Embodiments are Gods that are created to replace late or weakened Gods. Embodiments typically inherit all of their ancestral Gods abilities ( Geno inherited all) with some exceptions, a God that created their own embodiments can choose what abilities they wanna give ( Dream and Nightmare are examples of this). Embodiments in other words are either fully fledged Gods ( Geno ) or Demi-gods only given half reign ( Dream and Nightmare). 

Due to FATE ’s unexpected death. The world and the universe had to shift itself so that different universes started to exist. One of which was “ Aftertale ” - the very first alternative universe to exist. The very beginning of its existence (creation) is unknown, yet it was theorized that the world was unbalanced without a FATE in order that it had to create a new one. 

• “Why didn’t the world just pick a different person, or at least have a child reborn to take the now vacant place, why is making a different universe necessary when the world could have just picked someone who was already in the first one?”

Well you see, FATE ’s death not only left a vacant spot but it also shocked the whole world. Not just by the thought that Gods can die as well but it quite literally shocked itself. FATE ’s death was not expected therefore the world didn’t know what to do. And while the world could have just created a new one, the blast of energy that combusted and fastly dissipated (although it dissipated, the magic left unfixable damages) left the world unable to pass such heritage - thus making a different universe without the energy. — The creation of different universes was left out of control until the new FATE came into the picture. 

• “Are Ink and Error embodiments as well?”

No, no. They are not. Ink and Error are merely subjects created by either FATE or the world. Subjects are to follow certain rules depending on what kind of subject they are. In Ink ’s case, he is to protect and guide the universes that are newly created or are lost. Error ’s duty is to eradicate universes that are poisoned (corrupted) beyond repair or universes that are NOT meant to exist at all. Subjects help enforce the multiversal law system that only the Gods and its subjects are aware of. 

Geography

Natural laws

| Monsters cannot feel as much emotion than humans can , therefore making them a little heartless and emotionless. While they are capable of feeling (such as love, affection and anger) it is very limited. 

‘ Due to the fact that monsters are made of magic, once they die their bodies evaporate to dust. 

• Killing someone can give them power. Making them stronger and faster. Humans could also gain power by killing monsters because monsters are made out of magic, so once they're dead their magical energy is free to grasp. 

Humans can gain magic either by killing a monster (or several of them) and quickly absorbing the left-over magic or another method is the more complicated one. Their emotions. If done right, it can be turned into a magical liquid that can give them more magical leeway. Another method is for a human to activate/feel (either accidentally or not) their most prominent emotion in a community filled with magic and have it quickly take a form as a (magical) item. 

• Since humans are not born with magic, their bodies stay the same as the moment they died until nature takes its course and have the body start it’s decomposition. 

Multiverse’  Wonders

(Places)

• The Void

• Created and protected by DEATH

No one is able to get into the void. Anyone who will be able to, will not survive for more than a second. Thus he was surprised when he saw a complete replica of The Void created and a woman able to be in there .

• Because of the fact that The Void(s) are never meant to have anyone alive or unalive beings in them (it is not habitable), the ones who does get trapped in there - or copies of The Void - get their souls corrupted beyond repair.
• It is like what happened to Error

• Save Screen

• Created (by default) and protected by FATE

The Save Screen is the replica of The Void that was previously mentioned. ( Geno ) FATE was the woman. Due to Geno ’s experiment with her determination, a default void was created. 

• Anti-Void

• Created and protected by FATE (eventually protected by Error)

(Geno ) FATE created the Anti-void for the sole purpose of being near the opposite of The Void . Instead of wanting to push people out (like The Void ), it wants to pull people in . 

• Unlike The Void who is entirely silent, the Anti-Void is loud with hundreds and thousands of voices. Unlike The Void which is black, the Anti-Void is empty vast of white.

• The Doodle Sphere

• Created by FATE, protected by Ink

The Doodle Sphere is created by FATE and then eventually protected by Ink. It was created for the purpose of housing the multiverse doors. Originally, it was (Geno) FATE who protected The Doodle Sphere but when Ink was created, she left it in his hands (responsibility).

• It is also called The Core Of the Multiverse 

• Galax - Outertale

• Created by the Multiverse, protected by Error 

Just like any other alternative universe, it was the multiverse itself who created it. It was by law that; “ No such mortal, nor immoral shall create a world for their own satisfaction .” — It was a law created by FATE , and enforced by FATE ( Geno). 

• Omegaverse

• Created and protected by Core

Core disobeyed FATE ’s ( both ) law by creating the Omegaverse . A reason of which why they and FATE ( Geno) are quite cold with one another. 

• Core created Omegaverse to protect the innocent. While it is a good reason, it still broke the law.; “—for their own satisfaction.” - Helping the innocent is Core’s genuine satisfaction. It’s good hearted but against the very rules keeping the multiverse balance intact. 

• By saving others, not only did Core break FATE’s law, they also broke DEATH’s rules.; “Once thou are at the end of the abyss. Thee cannot turn back.” 

Magic

| Those who have connections to a God ; has such markings on their person. 

• FATE 

FATE (Geno) has strings, it is curled around her arms. While as, Error has the strings pouring down his face. 

• Naturally, it’s the color red but by choice did Error change it to blue. 

• Ink has black swirls on every part of his body that isn’t shown. 

• DEATH

DEATH has a black patch of skin on his fingertips . 

• GAIA 

Nightmare and Dream ’s soul is the marking . Apples , representing GAIA ’s connection to nature . 

• FATE (Geno) has given Nightmare a red swirl at the back of his neck. Error had given Nightmare a sign/image of tangled strings at his left wrist. 

• DEATH had given Dream a black star on the bottom part of his eye.

| There are a lot of differences between all types of monsters. And historically speaking, humans are monsters . By biology and by facts. Humans are the first type of monster, and the rest followed with mutations and different biological factors of their own. 

• Monsters are very similar to humans, but they aren’t the same in regards to emotional capabilities. Monsters tend to be more heartless due to their nature, while humans are more emotionally sensitive.
• Monsters can feel emotions but it is very muted. 

• SKELETONS

Skeletons are not biologically made. How? A human experiment gone wrong. Skeletons were never meant to be sentient but they did. Wonder how in the original universe, there are only three skeletons alive? Well, that is the reason. 

• FUNFACT: Gaster was the human who made the skeletons (Sans and Papyrus). He made Sans first and got into an accident and turned himself into a skeleton. During that time, Papyrus was already in the making. 

• FLIGHT HYBRIDS 

Include bird-like creatures, able to take flight or float. Bird Sans - also known as Allistair - are a type of bird hybrid mixed with being a skeleton. 

• Bird hybrids are either a full bird hybrid or mixed in with something (the latter most often). 

• LAND HYBRIDS 

Any type of hybrid meant for land. Like a full or half rabbit monster, or a humanoid creature with rabbit ears. As long as the animal is meant for land , then they fit in the criteria. 

• WATER HYBRIDS 

Typically merpeople, kraken’s and other type of water creatures.

• FIRE HYBRIDS 

Any type of fire creature. 

• MYTHICAL CREATURES

Mostly consist of creatures that are considered ‘extinct’ or powerful enough to be stronger than everyone but weaker than Gods and their subjects. 

• Fae people for example.

• HUMANS

Humans are the first type of monster. The first species created by the CREATOR , although they betrayed themselves when they betrayed their people. 

• NON-SENTIENT CREATURES

They are typically creatures who can move and live without having a conscious mind.

• INTANGIBLE CREATURES

Ghosts and ghouls.

The Fates

The Dreamtale Twins

| Now this doesn’t stray too far away from the canon dreamtale story, yes it may have differences but it isn’t that different from the canon lore. — ( Lanny and Quetzalcoatl does not exist in this multiverse)

• There are three trees in this multiverse just like the canon lore. However, who guards what, is what I’ll change. 

Tree of Feelings - Guarded by GAIA and would eventually be guarded by Nightmare and Dream .

Tree of Magic - Guarded by the old FATE , and then would soon fall under the new FATE ’s ( Geno ’) responsibility, then eventually under Goth ’s wing.

Tree of Life - Guarded by DEATH .

• (Each tree has a purpose with the multiverse’s balance. And without the balance, the multiverse would crumble until it is nothing but a never ending unforgivable void). 

The worlds of the trees are situated in the middle of specific universes, but GAIA , the guardian of the Tree of Feelings, moved her world to another universe (which, in this case, is a copy of undertale's - Dreamtale -) after her fight with FATE (that ended in disaster) maybe she should have moved her tree before anything happened anyway. Since she believed the other two had something against her anyway.

• DEATH didn’t have anything against her, FATE however, did.

It is unclear what had happened but both had such an intense fight it shocked the world itself. 

• And maybe FATE might have used DEATH’s entities against GAIA. 

And thus, the twins have been created. And yes, just like the canon lore, GAIA had tried making them humans but they exploded. 

• GAIA (Nim) had always favored humans. 

GAIA had made the twins with the intention of making them mature enough to handle responsibilities that weren’t supposed to be theirs. But perhaps it was still too young since the base (Swap) she had used was physically and mentally fourteen (14) years old.

• By technical definition, the twins may have been newly born, but their physical body and mind will start at fourteen (14).

I have to make it clear that the twins are children . Mentally they are aged-up and matured but fourteen (14) is still a child, and technically even as adults no one knows anything. 

• (Think of it as knowing the basics of a language and when you go to said country and you try speaking and you realize you don’t understand anything, you’ll feel screwed. It’s like that.)

In the Dreamtale Universe, both humans and monsters are co-existing at best and passive aggressive at worst. 

• Their universe is situated in the surface. 

Facts about GAIA (Nim)

| She was first called GAIA - The Mother Nature. 

• Nim is like a secondary namesake. 

While she prefers that name, she does hate it when both FATE ’s use it (as they use it as mockery.) 

• She had never been fond/liked FATE, nor did she like monsters either. She did not like them at all. And while she and the new FATE (Geno) hadn’t had much opportunity to speak with each other, it was clear that they had never and will never like each other. - She’s fond of DEATH though. 

The reason for GAIA being weakened is because of her and FATE ’s fight. Naturally, Gods cannot die unless by their own power. However, they can injure one another , so technically FATE injured her enough for it to be fatal but for GAIA not to die. 

• So when Original Timeline Nightmare striked, GAIA was already down and was easily killed. 

GAIA ( Nim ) hated both FATE ’s so much she also started hating Current Timeline Nightmare because he was raised by one. 

Facts about the twins (Nightmare and Dream)

| The twins are not embodiments nor subjects . They are Demi-Gods born from GAIA ’s magic. 

Their responsibilities are ingrained in their minds the moment they were made just like instincts. So even if GAIA isn’t there, they still have a slight clue of what they need to do.

• Anything in regards to their jobs, they’ll know what to do, but anything else? They don’t. 

They had always been referred to as the Sun and the Moon . Maybe due to their personalities or their crowns? Either way, Dream was the blinding sunshine , while Nightmare was the calming moon. 

• They are biologically related to each other and to GAIA. 
• They are able to feel emotions but cannot radiate auras until they are older.

Gods naturally do not have nationalities , but if they we’re raised or was fond of a certain ethnicity, then they can technically adopt it. 

• GAIA was fond of Spanish Culture and their Language, because of that she adopted it all together. 

• Because of GAIA’s fondness of the country, the twins lived in a Spanish community and growing into the Spanish language. 
• It was FATE (Geno) who taught Nightmare how to speak both English and Italian

• DEATH taught Dream how to speak French, originally he was planning on teaching Dream English as well but never got the chance to. 

• Ink and Swap were the ones who ended up teaching him English instead.

FATE ( Geno ) was aware of the twins' FUSION . If anything she was quite fascinated by it. But she knew that the fusion will never happen due to bad relations with eachother.

• The fusion is called CELESTIA

Their magic is typically shown through either their hair or hand (depending on what form they take). 

They can play any instrument of their choice, yet they both took their respective parent figure’s favourite instruments.

• Nightmare took great interest and talent in piano and violin. He picked those because those were FATE’s favorite instruments were piano and violin but Nightmare does personally love it as well. 

• Dream first heard of the guitar and flute from DEATH, and personally loved it and learned to cherish and how to play it. 

Facts about — Dream

| While Dream loved helping the villagers, he did often feel overwhelmed, of course being the good ‘saint’ he was, he didn’t want to bother anyone so he kept it to himself.

Dream actually looked up to Nightmare a lot. He felt as though that Nightmare was so strong that despite the torment he’s going through, he’s still standing strong with his back straight. 

• Dream saw Nightmare as a strong person. A warrior even (because of that he’d always admired warriors, for their courage and selflessness)

• Dream as a child didn’t know how to help his brother with the bullying Nightmare is experiencing, so he stood back and watched. 

• Although at one point, he did wonder if Nightmare had done something wrong and even temporarily blamed him because of what the villagers were saying. (I do hope that you don’t hate Dream for this assumption as he is merely a kid who didn’t know what to do).
• After the whole misunderstanding that Dream went through, he avoided Nightmare like the plague because of the guilt that he’s feeling. For being a coward (a child) and not helping his dear hermano. 

Dream eventually realized that the villagers were only using him. But did he do something to it? No. What would he do? It’s his job to help. No matter what. And so, he did nothing. 

• There would be times where he’d cried himself to sleep, not knowing what to do, but tired. A very very tired child. 

Dream (just like Nightmare ) is an empath, but that doesn’t mean he deals well with emotions. Anything happy he can manage, but anything sad it feels as though it’s a crime for him.

• He’s a child, surrounded by people who constantly remind him that his only job is to be happy and help. Not be sad and helped in return. 

In terms of physical strength, Dream is stronger than Nightmare (who does well in magic rather than physical), who is stronger than an average monster.

• Due to them being the guardians, they do have the advantage of being stronger than normal monsters or humans. 

When Dream turned to stone, he wasn’t able to see nor hear anything, but he was able to feel. 

• He felt his brother’s sorrow, his regret and his love. Then.. nothing. He was stuck there, for years to come, until Ink and Swap broke him out. 
• He spent exactly five hundred (500) years as a stone.
• (He sometimes felt DEATH’s aura around him)

Contrary to popular assumptions made by supporters. Dream is actually able to feel negative emotions , but as stated before, he does not do well with it so he bottles it up until he can’t anymore. 

• It’ll take Dream a good while to come to terms with what happened, his guilt, his brother’s actions and his future but when he does, he’ll have an appearance change. 
• To signify how he’s come to terms with something that will never be fixed, to let go of his past and his mistakes and learning from it.

DEATH was a father figure to Dream during the Dreamtale’s Era (he still is actually, when Dream was freed and they had a reunion).

• They met when DEATH was busy with a job in Dream’s universe. A coincidence that turned into something, a bond. 

• DEATH had wanted to introduce his wife (FATE - Geno) and Dream to each other but never got the chance to as FATE (Geno) always denied or was either busy, and when Dream got out of his stone imprisonment, FATE (Geno) was already dead. 

• Dream has definitely seen FATE (Geno) before, but only from afar, he’d seen how FATE (Geno) treats his brother and is happy to know someone was at least on his brother’s side when he wasn’t. 

• Dream had always wondered what’s it like to have a mother, sometimes wishing FATE (Geno) would like to meet her as well but didn’t want to be selfish and take his brother’s only support so he never pushed to meet her. (He sometimes tried to envision her as a mother figure but he never really was able to as she doesn’t know FATE (Geno) enough to know what she’s like.

Dream is actually afraid of owls and fishes, always finding their eyes unsettling. He never liked how they seemed to always stare at you - (he doesn’t like it when people stare).

• Dream will and can actually eat anything offered to him even if it’s the most disgusting thing.

Dream does respect both FATE ( Geno ) and DESTRUCTION ( Error) despite what everyone is saying about them. 

• Although before and after he met DEATH he’d always looked up to him. 

Naturally Dream was the outgoing, extroverted twin, both by nature and in attitude. 

• Dream may appear as stupid as he does not have formal education but he is smart, and he also does not like to correct anyone if they are wrong so as to not make them mad and appear rude. 

• He isn’t as academically smart as his genius brother but he is a genius in his own way. After all, there are a lot of types of geniuses.
• He’s also a very fast learner and thinker. 

Facts about — Nightmare

| Nightmare is necessarily not evil like the villagers tend to paint him as. He’s just an introverted kid who prefers to talk to himself like sane authors do but of course people want him gone as he’s the guardian of negativity. 

• When the bullying started and worsened Nightmare’s introversion got worse until some days he’d be too terrified to speak - luckily both FATE (Geno) and Error (a Geno similar person) helped him with it. 
• He’s always been serious and a bit emotionless, also an extremely intelligent person. (Observant too) 

Nightmare takes great pleasure in reading and learning. For him the world (and eventually the Multiverse) is an endless library or book that the more you see the more you learn. 

• Nightmare doesn’t actually lie, a habit he picked up from FATE (Geno), there would be times where he has to lie but if he can, he will avoid it or say a half-truth at best. 

Nightmare had met the two Geno’s of the multiverse . FATE ( Geno ) and EUGENE ( Error). 

• Nightmare met Eugene (Error) first who introduced himself as Geno since that’s how people referred to him back then but Eugene (Error) never liked to be called Geno because he knew they were insulting him in substitute to FATE (Geno). 

• Nightmare liked Eugene (Error) romantically but they never got into a relationship until they were both Nightmare the King of Negativity and Error the God of Destruction. 

• Although they would say they were in a platonic relationship to each other as a joke. 
• When Nightmare met the real Geno (FATE) however, he first mistook her for Error despite not really looking like her, but eventually realized that it was in fact not his friend. Geno (FATE) introduced herself as Geno not as FATE (but the thing was, Nightmare already knew who Geno was. He didn’t know much, just that she was the person who was the real Geno.) 

• FATE (Geno) knew what he was thinking of course, but didn’t do anything. Although she did offer to mentor him. FATE’s (Geno) original goal with this is to personally see just what it is that will make the kid snap. She knew of course, but there’s a big difference between knowing and witnessing. 

• FATE (Geno) however didn’t expect to get attached, and before someone can even blink, Geno went from being a mentor to a mother. And she didn’t quite mind. 

Nightmare does not like sweet foods and strawberries. Nor does he like cats and dogs. He does not like them at all. 

• He does not like any types of animals. Nor does he like any type of sugary foods (he will eat it if it’s given by a person he loves. Like Ccino, Error and his children)

Nightmare believed his brother hated him because he knows that Dream knows about the bullying but does nothing to help him at all. In his mind Dream saw him as the monster the villagers liked to claim him as. (He would never hurt Dream , he can be angry at him but never outright cruel nor even slightly mean to him). 

• Nightmare’s always had a low self-esteem issue, he believed himself worthless and unworthy.

• “If Dream truly loved him, wouldn’t he have already helped?!”
• (Please do keep in mind that these two are merely children who don't know what they're doing.)

• Dream avoiding him because of his own guilt didn’t help much either. 

Nightmare had never once hurt the villagers, maybe at the heat of the moment he might have said an insult or two but never physically (he vowed to himself that he won’t be like them), the verbal comebacks aren't even that hurtful (or he likes to believe so). He’s just correcting their misleading thoughts or mistakes with a stern word that the villagers take as an insult and a personal attack. 

The Yin and Yang

| The story of DEATH and his Beloved… — The first ever door to open as an alternative universe was one who was later dubbed/named as “ Aftertale ”. The very universe where the second FATE came from. 

FATE otherwise known as Guenevere Siyuee - pronounced as •/Sea-Que/• (CQ) was once the royal scientist and royal judge that only had one goal in her life. 

• To open the borders. 

She spent her life following her father around, listening to his every word as he explained everything to his young daughter. Originally her first job was the royal judge before the royal scientist as that was her father’s job. But because of an experiment gone wrong, she lost her father, and thus was trusted into the position until they can find someone suitable (technically, Guenevere ( Geno) was very suitable for the job, almost - if not greater - than her father but the royal court knew that it’ll be best for her to take the royal judge position rather than the scientist position.) 

• She juggled two jobs, and raised her younger brother, until eventually Andrylia (Alphys) came when Paccius (Papyrus) was about fourteen (14) years old. 
• No one aside, the royal family (and court) knew of her family’s history with the royal occupations in honour of her father’s wish/favour to the king. 

No one was able to open the borders. Giovanni ( Gaster) came close, with his daughter also coming close to it but both were unable to continue their research so no one had been able to open the borders. 

• The thing is, Guenevere (Geno) was able to finish her research. She even went to the king and told him about it. 
• The reason they couldn’t open the borders however was because they didn’t have the means or the resources for it. 
• (Read: DETERMINATION SOUL)

• But it didn’t stop a human from falling down. The kid later introduced himself as Fabian (Frisk). The second human (child) to fall down the border. For the locals, Fabian (Frisk) was the first and only human seen since the war. But for the royal court. Fabian (Frisk) was the second, not the first. Celia (Chara) was the first human (child) to fall down.
• (Only known to the royal court) 

• Guenevere (Geno) had actually met and liked Celia (Chara), but due to an illness Celia (Chara) died. 

• With permission to both the royal family and Celia (Chara) herself, Guenevere (Geno) extracted Celia’s (Chara) soul - DETERMINATION (DT) FUELED - and kept it in her personal lab. 
• Eventually used by Guenevere (Geno) in her desperation for a change. 

The death of Giovanni ( Gaster ) is due to an experiment gone wrong with the last sample of soul extracted from the war . Giovanni ( Gaster ) was trying to find a way to open the borders , but he failed and paid the price with his life . 

• It was Guenevere’s (Geno) biggest project after her father died. She studied it and theorized it in ways her father hadn’t. Her greatest fascination was the souls that are DETERMINATION (DT) FUELED, but she never got her hands on it until Celia (Chara) died. From there all her theories were either proven or failed (if it failed, she’d think of new ones). 

When Fabian (Frisk) started his genocide, Guenevere (Geno) were unable to do anything. She tried warning the others but they didn’t believe her as they’d always seen her as this rude and stern lady. When Fabian (Frisk) resetted (played with time) for the first time and Guenevere (Geno) woke up, she thought it had just been a nightmare fabricated by her mind due to her own anxiety. Although when the day proceeded like her dream, she got more anxious and tried to prevent her brother from leaving the house. There was a chance it would not be true yet Guenevere (Geno) doesn’t want to take chances. Despite her efforts, one thing or another still made her brother leave the house, and just like her dream, Paccius (Papyrus) died. 

• It kept on going like that. Until eventually Guenevere (Geno) tried every method she thought would work. Nothing worked. Until the same day happening over and over again went from one hundred (100) to nearly six thousand (5856).
• At this point Guenevere (Geno) was losing her mind. She tried killing them, both Fabian (Frisk) and everyone but it still didn’t work.
• She can kill the human - Fabian - and has done so but he would eventually just keep reviving himself over and over again until the bodies are all piled up in a big mountain somewhere behind them, and until Guenevere (Geno) eventually got killed by the human.
• She has only killed everyone once and she’s done so with a lot of guilt. She couldn’t forgive herself even to this day because of that. 
• When it became clear that Guenevere (Geno) was losing her mind and she tried everything she knew, she turned to her lab. She flipped her lab outside down trying to find a way. 
• Then she saw her DETERMINATION theories.. 
• With insanity controlling her consciousness, she injected the DETERMINATION (DT) LIQUID she extracted from Celia (Chara) to herself. 
• She herself knew the effects it'll have. To both humans and monsters. She studied it herself. She knew the pain she would endure, but to her desperation she didn’t care even when she was screaming in pain. 
• When it was time for her to make the Final Judgment like all these past times, she was swaying from where she was standing. Yet she hadn’t backed down, she refused to back down. Just like before, even when she is able to kill the child several times, the child would just respawn. Until eventually, he didn’t. 

• Guenevere (Geno) waited however long she did, but the child never showed up again. With bated breath did she start to cry. 

• It was over.

• She was content. Knowing that she’ll die but this time. She won’t wake up again. 

She was wrong. When she opened her eyes again, it was black. With a glowing yellow box showing in front of her. It read; “Good Job ^_^ Would you like to reset?” Below showed two buttons RESET and RESET . 

• At that point she was so mentally drained that she just sank to the ground. She didn’t know how long she spent there, but she never once touched that box again. 
• Until eventually, she felt a deathly aura behind her. She didn’t even care, she just wanted it all to be over. She was tired. Tired of seeing all her loved ones die over and  over again. She was also tired of dying.
• And so, she waited. But that deathly aura just stood there, and then sat down next to her. 

Years in the future, Guenevere ( Geno) would claim that she didn’t know how they went from there, to them being married, but she doesn’t mind. 

• She loved him, of course she did. Even when DEATH himself didn’t seem to love her, she didn’t care. She loved him and that was that. 

Paccius ( Papyrus ) and Guenevere ( Geno) are half siblings. They don’t have the same mother. 

• Guenevere’s (Geno) mother left when she was a young child, maybe a year old. 

• Paccius’ (Papyrus) mother died of childbirth.

Since Giovanni ( Gaster ) died when Guenevere ( Geno ) was sixteen - 16 - and Paccius ( Papyrus ) was barely a year old. It had been Guenevere ( Geno ) who had to raise Paccius ( Papyrus) on her own. 

• They never had any financial difficulties, as Giovanni (Gaster) was the head royal scientist and therefore had a good salary, and they are family friends with the royal family. 
• And due to Guenevere’s (Geno) occupation as her father’s replacement and as the royal judge. 
• They are pretty well off actually. 

Facts about — Genocide

| When Guenevere ( Geno ) got out of the Save Screen . She changed her name from Guenevere Siyuee to Genocide Siyuee Aeonian. 

• Genocide as a form of memory to all her pain and sins. After all, she did cause a few genocides to escape the hell she was in. 

• Aeonian is DEATH’s surname. Due to them being married, she took her husband’s last name. 

• There would be times where DEATH would sometimes call her by her birth name (Guenevere) but it’s rare, not because the name hurts but because both just found Geno (Genocide) more fitting and because that’s how it’s always been. 
• Technically, she first introduced herself to DEATH as Genocide rather than her real name Guenevere, so both are more accustomed to Geno instead. 

Guenevere ( Geno ) had the ability of teleportation, levitation and summoning of her weapons (bones and the Gaster blasters) . FATE ( Genocide) now additionally has the ability of CREATION , KNOWING and CONTROL . 

• FATE’s (Geno) ability CREATION is due to her being FATE. After all, FATE is the beginning. 

• FATE is like a story writer. Without them. There’s nothing. They are the beginning and the end.

• KNOWING is the ability of knowing everything before and after it was even made. She knows what anyone is thinking. 

• KNOWING is linked to CREATION, without either, the other won’t work. 

• Just like Error who’s able to control souls. FATE (Geno) is also far more capable of it. 

Genocide would deny it but it was her who first fell in love . She admired DEATH , and soon truly loved him so much, she didn’t even know it was possible. 

• While Genocide is a very stern and cold lady, she still managed to act like a dork (DEATH’s words) around someone she romantically loved. 
• That’s kind of how DEATH started to love her anyway. He admired her courage and determination, he admired her intelligence and soon started catching feelings. 
• He denied it at first, afraid to break his heart as he knew that Genocide was only mortal. He was overly joyed when he found out she was the new FATE. 
• He didn’t know he could be somehow happier than that. 

Guenevere, Genocide and FATE . All her personas are Italian. She was raised Italian and she wants to stay that way. While she did learn other languages (technically she didn’t learn, it just came to her), she’d always preferred her mother tongue. 

• All her persona’s have differences in terms of occupations and sometime’s personality. 
• And of course, looks. 

• FATE 

• Is the Balance Holder. She holds and secures the rules, making sure that it’s being followed properly. 
• This job also includes weaving the Fates. 
• Soulmates, tragedies, celebrations and failure.
• She also overlooks the whole multiverse, before and after Ink came. 

• Madam Death and Madam Wisdom

• This persona can be seen as the same or not. 
• This is the persona that she uses for court cases (when she is being a judge) and official business meetings that are necessary for the council and for whatever court she’s in. 
• Despite her alternative universe being destroyed, whether everyone hated her or not, they cannot deny that she is the most impartial and omniscient when in comes to such topics. 
• They need her judgement and so they can only accept it bitterly. 
• And so, to her death she is the considered a Head Judge.
• She used to be the Royal Judge and after that she became the Head Judge. 

• Genocide

• This is what her business associates or semi-business circles call her as. 
• Also the names people on the village known her as. 
• Even the Gods in Reapertale know and call her this. 

• Geno

• This is what everyone on her close circle calls her.

• Nightmare, DEATH, Sci and even Dream

Genocide is a very stern lady. A bit cold, a bit emotionless and always frowning. But she’s observant, she’d rather stay silent and watch in the shadows rather than mingle (the opposite of her husband who is social). 

• People would even say she’s too rude. 
• Contrary to popular perception, Genocide is a very patient woman. But she is a no-nonsense woman as well. If her patience ran thin, she would very rudely talk, correct and even ignore said person depending on what they did to annoy her.
• (While she does know what’s to come, knowing and experiencing it are very different things, so she might lose her cool once in awhile).
• She very rarely does get her patience broken, but she is still very stern (not by intention but because that’s just how she is).

• FATE (Geno) is always seen with a blank or frowning face. No one had ever seen her smile without being prompted by DEATH (and that is rare - for them). 

Both of her personas ( FATE and Genocide ) do not lie. It is against her own rules to lie and deceive, therefore she doesn’t. If there ever was a situation where she needed to lie , she’d either avoid the truth or answer in the most vaguely honest manner possible.

• FATE (Geno) has a lot of rules for herself that she follows, one of which includes proper etiquette and formal mannerisms.

• Another reason why FATE (Geno) fell in love with DEATH (romantically) and Nightmare (platonically) was because of their great manners. 
• Also another reason why FATE (Geno) doesn’t like Dream much. (She thinks he’s too immature)

• FATE (Geno) can be a bit biased and a bit cruel when it comes to manners, but everyone has their preferences. 

• Selma (Sci) also showed her great manners, which is why she liked being her friend. 

FATE ( Geno) can sometimes not know things. There would be instances where she didn’t know. And there could be two reasons for that. 

1. She changed someone’s Fate either consciously or not - something she’d done for Nightmare.

• OR

• Someone had done something that wasn’t apart of their Fate and it caused a ripple effect and Fate itself stitched up a new story out of either FATE’s (Geno) knowledge or control. 

DEATH will believe for the longest time that FATE ( Geno) - his beloved - knew of her demise when in reality she didn’t. 

• DEATH will mourn for her for so long that he himself doesn’t even know if he can move on. 

Guenevere ’s ( Geno) favorite color? White. Her reasoning is a lot, but the one she often tells people is that - “White is the color of beginning.” While people may disagree with that, for her it’s the fact. A blank piece of paper is white, stained once it’s used, same as other objects, they all start as nothing then stained.

FATE ’s ( Geno) death is unknown. No one knows the reason aside from her husband who retrieved her body. And even then he doesn’t know the full details. 

• Some speculate it to be suicide but then again she doesn’t have any reason to. 
• Some speculate it to be a murder and etcetera. 
• Her death is in fact a murder. The who planned it? Unknown. But that person knew how a God in such a high position can die, and they laid out a trap that will successfully kill a God by their own hands, since Gods can only die by their own means. 
• The people who knew what fully happened to FATE (Geno) was only two. The perpetrator and the victim. 

DEATH had built a little statue for his wife - Genocide - on the deepest part of their gardens. He often goes there when his grief is too much to bear. 

• He tried to bring Goth there and he did when the kid still remembered her real mother but when the accident happened Goth refused to know anything about her mother. 

Additional facts about “AfterTale”

The people there are Italian, therefore they speak and have the Italian culture (same as names). As I said about the alternative universes, they are not the person rather they are people in the same situation. 

• Gaster is named Giovanni

• Papyrus is named Paccius

Andryllia ( Alphys ) was the one who had a theory about the existence of other life forms outside of their universe - meaning; the existence of alternative universes . Guenevere ( Geno ) once had a theory about what happens after death. Her theory suggests that death is merely the midway point of life, that there is still something after it. 

• Both of which are theories that end up being true.

Due to the alternative universe “Aftertale ” experiencing more pain than what was originally intended (due to the lack of control by the Fates and the misguided power that humanity stole ), it eventually crumbled and ceased to exist. 

• Geno (Guenevere) could do nothing as she was trapped in the Save Screen at that time. 

The king - Allesio - ( Asgore ) and the Queen - Tahoma - ( Toriel) are actually still happily together. Despite losing their daughter, they talked and mended their relationship properly. 

• The Prince - Alessandro - (Asriel), is content to become the King. (What the siblings, Celia (Chara) and Alessandro (Asriel), originally planned was that Celia (Chara) were to lead while Alessandro (Asriel) were to be her advisor. It was a childhood dream both cherished a lot). 

Andryllia ( Alphys ) and Ulises ( Undyne) were actually courting each other when the whole time resets happened. 

• If they were given time, they would have been a happy power couple. 

Fabian ( Frisk ) was a distant relative to the man who was crazed for magic. The original version had been mentioned in the timeline - “The end of all ends” - this man, Angelo , is the “ Aftertale” version. 

• Fabian (Frisk) found his research and became intrigued. Therefore finding the path, and falling down voluntarily, in lue of ‘research’

Facts about — Death

| DEATH had affections for Geno ( Guenevere ) during the times they spent getting to know each other in his void, but it was never love . He refused to fall in love, knowing it’ll be in vain as mortals and Gods are not compatible. 

• Imagine his surprise however when he accidentally made contact (touch) with a human who is the embodiment of mystery herself. 

• DEATH was warned by the old FATE that there would be a day where DEATH would find a woman who would end up falling for him and him also. 

• FATE didn’t mention any details, but what he did make clear was that their love was possible. 

• He didn’t know if the woman from FATE’s decision is the same as the woman he loves now. (He did end up getting confirmation when he saw the strings that wrapped themselves around Geno - Guenevere - seconds after their accidental contact (touch). 

DEATH cannot touch anything alive as it will decay when he touches it. And while he cannot touch mortals, he can touch his fellow Gods. But he cannot touch plants, animals or living beings (and that consists of nearly everything). 

• Because of this, he prefers to float. He will not walk or even go near anything if he has a say about it. 

DEATH , like his wife, is a very smart individual, although he may act as an idiot at times that is just his personality. But when it comes to it, he’ll be a very strict man. 

• Although he sometimes does make a fool out of himself unintentionally when it comes to his wife (he loves her after all, and sometimes gets flustered). 

DEATH has favored French Culture, therefore he will claim he is a French man in his mortal disguise. 

DEATH ’s favorite color is black. Just like how FATE ’s ( Geno) reasoning is that white is the start, his is that black is the end. No further explanation. Just that black is the ending.

DEATH is a gentleman who values principles more than enjoyment. While he is a very social and friendly guy, he is not as social as others like to think. 

• He always seems friendly, kind and supportive. Always seen smiling. 

• DEATH does have a lot of patience as well, but not as much as FATE (Geno) so he does loose his temper a lot (especially when it comes to insulting his wife). 

• While it is a normal occurrence and overtime both FATE (Geno) and DEATH had gotten tired acknowledging it, DEATH does still glare at anyone daring enough to mention anything when he’s near.
• (No one is daring enough, but he does still manage to hear due to his heightened senses).

(Fun)Facts about — AfterDeath

| Their wedding was actually a joyous occasion in the alternative universe called “Reapertale ” - it was very black and white themed. 

• FATE (Geno) wore an elegant black dress with a black veil while DEATH (otherwise known as Reaper in “Reapertale” universe) wore a grand white grooms suit. 

• Although it was more vintage as the wedding did happen a thousand years behind our current timeline. 

The couple lives in a dark manor in Reapertale , it’s big and a bit gloomy looking (some might even say scary). While it does look very fitting for DEATH itself, the manor also has this very elegant sophisticated style to it that makes it obvious it was by FATE ’s ( Geno) choice.

• Several of the rooms in the manor (which has maybe a little over three hundred - 300 - rooms) are filled with paintings.
• They adore art (any type of it). 
• They also have a few music rooms and rooms dedicated for themselves. 
• As I did mention, due to the couple admiring art a lot, there are a lot of little details hidden in all of their furniture. 
• Both of them are actually perfectionists, FATE (Geno) is just more firm about it, and so there are a lot of meaningful details in everything. After all, it is their home. 

| • In terms of love languages, they are in sync with one another. While FATE ( Geno ) favors actions than words, DEATH is more informed in words rather than actions due to his occupation.

• Both also show their love in quality time, gift giving and acts of service. 

• Guenevere (Geno) grew up not speaking about her emotions, while DEATH all his life was never used to physical contact, therefore both are most comfortable with what they grew up with. 

• Giovanni (Gaster) always showed his care and love for them through his actions. Both Guenevere (Geno) and Paccius (Papyrus) grew to love the little things more than his words (soon adapting to it and using it, both unintentionally as both are never good at emotional talks). 

• FATE (Geno) and DEATH are often seen holding hands or FATE (Geno) has her hand hooked onto DEATH’s forearm. DEATH always has his hand ready for whenever FATE (Geno) starts walking up to him. (It’s instinct now, done without much thought as they’d been doing it for hundreds of years). 

• DEATH often says a lot of romantic things to FATE (Geno). Romantic, a bit cliche but always sincere. 
• They love just existing with each other. Either they sit in their lounge room for hours without speaking or they are reading. They wouldn’t mind, just as long as the other is there and they’d feel content in their life.
• They have a lot of gifts on the daily for each other. Sometimes silly little things like doodles on a sticky note but- that’s considered a gift for them. A routine that they never want to stop. 
• FATE (Geno) would often make coffee and breakfast for DEATH. Sometimes even packing him food if she knows he’d be taking long. 
• DEATH would make desserts for both of them when he finds the time. 
• They would braid each other's hair before bed, and help each other relax. 
• They have a routine for when they sleep, they’d help each other change into their nightgowns after they both took a bath. And the braids, and they’d talk during those times. Learning what happened that day, even if FATE (Geno) already knows, she loves hearing it from her husband. 
• They like putting ribbons or other soft materials into the braids that they do.

Sometimes the couple would speak to each other in their favored languages. Sometimes using either language, sometimes using both - whether one of them asked a question in the other language and the other responded in the other language -, or switching between the two languages a lot. 

• Italian and French

Facts about — Goth

Goth was eight (8) years old as a Godling , but it had been about one hundred twenty (120) years for humans, when his mother - FATE ( Geno ) - died. As I have mentioned, Gods and the likes have photographic memory with some exceptions . 

• Ink tends to be forgetful.

• Error does sometimes have trouble remembering. 

So when FATE ( Geno ) died, there had been an accident in regards to magic that made Goth forget nearly everything about his life. 

• He would sometimes remember soft voices, soft touches and a warm feeling. 
• He had trouble remembering faces and voices during the first few years in recovery but he eventually did manage to get some of his memories. 
• He never did remember much about his mother. He would sometimes remember beautiful laughs, delicious food and a very warm embrace. He would also sometimes remember painting and playing an instrument with both his parents, but their faces will always be blurred. 
• He would sometimes remember stern teaching and lessons that he subconsciously still follows. 

While DEATH did tell stories of his mother, telling him of how absolutely amazing she was. He never quite believed it. I’m his eyes FATE ( Geno) was a terrible person. Who was cruel, selfish and left his father for another man. 

• That wasn’t true, and even if DEATH does rebuke it, Goth never believed him. 

• Goth grew up around people who hated FATE (Geno). They would tell him all these horrible stories about her. 

• DEATH would claim it to be false, but what is his father’s word against countless others?

• Because of this, he grew up resenting a mother who very much loved both his father and him unconditionally. 

Goth ’s magic and responsibility has always been a mixture of both Fate and Death , and while he originally was supposed to be a second Grim Reaper , his place automatically filled the spot FATE ( Geno ) had left when she died. Even if he didn’t know, his ability shifted to fully replace FATE ( Geno) once he’d be of age.

• Because there will be a FATE one day, the world hasn't gone to chaos like what happened the first time. This time the multiverse shifted to accommodate Goth’s powers before he came of age.  

Goth is a literature, music, science and a mathematical prodigy. He’s got the logical (science and math) genes from his mom, while literature and arts (music) from his dad.

• He is also a very great painter, with the help of Pallete and his father. 

• Goth plays the lyre and piano 

• Goth also quite favors the color white and yellow. Although mostly white 

Goth ’s personality does resemble his mother a lot. He’s like a perfect replica, he looks and even acts like her. Although he did get his father’s enthusiasm. 

• He’s cheerful and really social like his dad. 

Goth has the possibility of finding out the truth in the future, he might have seen the old journals of Geno that is being kept in her old office or he’ll notice that a piece of the story is missing and he’ll reluctantly have to investigate.

• Or, he could learn about it when he fully developed into the new FATE since that occupation will make him very omniscient 

• Goth is a good kid, maybe a bit hurt and bitter and acting blind for the truth but do imagine yourself in his shoes. 

• Everyone around him had always bad talked his mother, while they never specifically said that she left (with another man), they did often tell him that she left. 
• Never going into details about what kind of ‘leaving’ that FATE (Geno) did. 

The Protector and The Destroyer

| Ink - otherwise known as Kamil - was created by FATE ( Geno) with the intention of him being a protector for the alternative universes and to make sure the rules are applied correctly. 

• However, there had been some difficulties when FATE (Geno) was making his Fate. (Read: mistakes)
• What should’ve been a good story, ended up being nothing. Just like in canon, where Ink’s creator left his world unfinished, FATE (Geno) left them unfinished as well. 
• Therefore Ink had to suffer, and just like canon; ripped his own soul apart. 
• When he got out, he didn’t remember anything. FATE (Geno) having not known of her own mistakes felt guilty and guided Ink.
• She was her mentor, she taught him what needs to be done and what his duty is. 
• At the time, Ink’s Fate remained blank so FATE (Geno) didn’t know Ink would end up being a huge headache for her. 
• When Ink remembered, he already knew who was to blame for it. After all, his very mentor happened to be FATE (Geno) herself. If it weren’t for her cruelty his family and his would have been living a good life. 

• Ink hated FATE (Geno) when he knew of the truth. His hatred for her ran deep, and he always went out of his way to inconvenience her. 

• He liked her husband though, he’d always admired DEATH before and after he’d learned what DEATH’s wife did. 
• One of the reasons he hated her as well was because Ink liked DEATH romantically, he didn’t know just what it is that DEATH saw on FATE (Geno) but he was certain that FATE (Geno) didn’t deserve DEATH’s love. 
• He didn’t hate Goth, but he did tell him all of the things he hated about FATE (Geno), and because the council wasn’t as agreeable to FATE (Geno) as well, you could see where Goth’s resentment started. 
• When FATE (Geno) was still mentoring Ink, she taught him about all kinds of things, one of which is about being a diplomat, after all she had the intention of making a council.
• One of which, she successfully made.
• She had no intention of leading it but she did know its existence had to be done. (After all, people will claim she made unfair decisions on her own. This way no one will put all the blame on her. Despite this, the council is still a must, as this will help in a lot of things). 

Facts about — Ink

| Ink used to respect FATE ( Geno) a lot and looked up to her as a sister. But when he found out what happened, he felt so betrayed and started to resent her for all his pains.

• After all, she had the power to make everyone happy but she never used her power for that matter.

• Ink never understood that bad things must happen to balance the good. He never did. 

• But he is not evil. Nor is he bad, he’s just a man filled with pain who never understood the reasons for why life must be painful at times. 

He is aware of Error ’s existence but never met him nor did he intend to. He never hated Error but he didn’t like him either. He had a neutral opinion on a guy he never knew. 

Ink as mentioned liked DEATH romantically, he did try to ask him out when FATE (Geno) died but DEATH explained that he doesn’t have the desire to remarry. 

• Ink always clashed with FATE (Geno) on council meetings, they would always have arguments - Ink often screaming with FATE (Geno) responding in patience, calm. Always calm. 

• There would be times FATE (Geno) did lose her patience but she never raised her voice (she had never raised her voice in all her life - with the exception of that one time she did scream at Fabian), when she runs out of patience her words tend to be more scathing and ruthless. 
• He just likes annoying FATE (Geno) a lot. (He really doesn’t like her, and vice versa.) 

Ink is easily distracted, but can have a logical mind when a situation occurs, even if he’s still overly distracted though.

• He’s cheerful and forgetful and sometimes really ruthless with his words, and not aware of others emotions but he’s nice. 

• Ink is kind but also not that kind, it’s like he feels sympathetic for people who have it bad but wouldn’t move a single finger cause it doesn’t involve him. 

Additional facts about “The Council”

The founder of the Council had been FATE ( Geno ), DEATH would’ve helped if he had the time, however he did not.

• (FATE - Geno - didn’t have time either but she made way for it)

While Ink had been the intended head per FATE ’s ( Geno ) choice, it was FATE ( Geno) who recruited the very first people of the council who, as the council grew, became the ‘elders’. 

• Selma (Sci) had been one of the first, per FATE’s (Geno) insistence. 

• Several years later, it had been Selma (Sci) who had recruited and coached a very young Felicia (Fell). 

• Selim (Swap) had been recruited by FATE (Geno) as well

• Despite Ink’s hatred for FATE (Geno), Swap had always respected her. 

The Council is like a government, there would be discussions, decisions being made and arguments. All of that diplomatic activity. Ink may be the head but the decision ends in votes. If no one agrees, then Ink has no choice but to disagree as well. 

Facts about — Sci

| When Selma had first met Geno ( FATE ) they were still a young adult who just achieved their dream of becoming the Royal scientist, and we’re taking care of their young baby brother. 

• The resets never happened as this was very early in the timeline.

They met Geno ( FATE ) very early in their ‘career’ and became friends. Eventually as Selma ’s intelligence grew and grew, they started thinking out of the box and thought of the existence of other life forms outside their universe. 

• Geno (Guenevere) was reminded of Andryllia (Aftertale Alphys) in Selma. 

• With Geno’s confirmation, Selma knew of the existence of the Multiverse. 
• And that was the start of one of the best (if not the best of all) scientists in the whole Multiverse. 
• What started as a friend in the market became their greatest friend. 
• During the first few years of the newly named Sci (Selma) knowing of the existence of the Multiverse, had asked Geno (FATE) to mentor them.

• Geno (FATE) declined as she herself knew that Sci (Selma) was already a prodigy on their own. But Sci (Selma) insisted and Geno (FATE) agreed. 

When Sci had met the council, they all warned her about FATE ( Geno), all about how she cannot be trusted and all bad things. 

• They were very confused at first about why they hated Geno (FATE) that much and so they asked their friend.
• That was the moment Sci learned of Geno’s occupation as FATE. 
• For Sci, that was one of the best things they had ever heard. And while they did understand the implications about that knowledge they didn’t care. 
• From that moment, their friendship turned into sibling-hood. 

At first people were very unhappy with Sci ’s decision but what can they do? Nothing. They can’t kick Sci out of the council because they never committed anything against the rules and saying; “They’re friends with someone we don’t like” is and will never be acceptable. Plus, Sci was beginning to be one of their greatest assets so they had to learn to live with it. 

• Sci wasn’t energetic, they were meek and shy, but eventually (even if it wasn’t a conscious choice) they started acting like FATE (Geno). Quiet, observant, intelligent and will put you down in words if you do something wrong. 
• The council wasn’t very happy when they noticed it. They thought FATE (Geno) was a bad influence. 

Sci learned several things under FATE ’s ( Geno) mentorship, and the prodigy grew into the best of all. 

Sci had also met Geno ’s ( FATE ) husband and they liked him, and thought of him as a brother as time passed. 

• When Goth was born, they were really honored to be named as their godparent and were the best aunt ever. 

• Sci did try to refute what everyone said about FATE (Geno) to Goth when she died. But Goth refused to listen to his aunt and father. Instead, listening to what everyone else said. 

Facts about — Swap

| Swap is not like how the fandom portrays him as. He is a very stern and mature man. While he is very calm, friendly and chill, he is the more chill kind of friendly. 

• He’s like that one helpful friend that is always approachable but is not as social as others. You just know he will help you if you need it and is very amicable with everyone. 

• Swap is very kind and humble but he is strict. He won’t hesitate to correct you if you made a mistake. He’s very righteous. 

He does like Dream romantically and eventually asked him out and they got married. He’d liked Dream long before he even knew, it’s like a love-at-first-sight kind of thing. 

A little fun fact, contrary to popular belief, Swap ’s favorite color is actually orange and not blue. He says it reminds him of his brother when he’s away and it’s just a color he associates as ‘home’. 

• He is also great friends with Error, he had met Nightmare as well and he respects him but he doesn’t want to be friends with him because it’s awkward especially when Dream is involved. 
• He also respects FATE (Geno) a lot and desired to be her friend but never got the chance to. 
• He is great friends with DEATH though and because of that he learned to be more understanding of people’s situations. 

He is one of the greatest warriors of his generation. 

Facts about — Dream

| Dream was recruited into the council by Ink and Swap . They encountered his universe and saw him as a stone. At first the two thought to just leave him but when they felt that he’s very much alive, they decided to free him from his stone prison. 

• Dream was very disoriented at first and did not understand them much, and at the time he was also experiencing a very overwhelming feeling of pain.

• So much that he fainted seconds after being free. 
• When he woke up, Ink and Swap explained who they were and the offer to join, they also explained what the Multiverse was. 

• Dream already knew of the Multiverse because of DEATH, so he had a vague understanding of what they wanted before their explanation ended. 

• He knew they were good people and with little thought, he agreed. 
• But because of being trapped for centuries they had to help him get used to his body as well, and that took years. 
• When he attended his first council meeting, he met DEATH there and had a reunion. 

• Ink and Swap were confused how they knew each other before Dream explained that DEATH was like a father to him before he got turned to stone. 

• Ink and Swap were happy that they got reunited. 

• And from there, the trio became the greatest of friends and great protectors as well. 
• While Ink had always been the leader, Dream was a natural born leader and more often than not did he lead a lot of their missions. 

• Ink didn’t mind and was quite happy actually. 

Dream cannot be near Nightmare, their auras really contrast and hurt each other. He is not able to touch him either as they will melt each other by touch alone.

• Dream’s arrows are made of positive emotions from those around him
• His bow can split in two daggers joined by the bowstring 
• Dream has great healing powers, although it drains him fast

Dream never spared a lot of thought about romance, although he will admit that DEATH and FATE ’s ( Geno) relationship as to admire and be envy of, they are very sweet to each other. 

• Because of his inexperience with romance, he did fail to realize he liked Swap romantically until Swap asked him for a date.
• At first he declined, he explained to Swap that he was very inexperienced and didn’t know if what he felt was romantic or not and did not want to get Swap’s hopes up but Swap wanted to at least try. 
• From there they learned together and talked about it numerous times, and that was the start of a great relationship. 

Dream doesn’t hate Nightmare , he understood the pain and hurt Nightmare must have felt when he was being bullied—knowing his brother did nothing to help. He understood, Dream respected that and thought that if they never talked, it’ll end up alright.

Dream ’s favorite color has to be blue, his reasoning is that it reminds him of the sky and the ocean, which are both really beautiful.

Dream ’s personality is like canon as well, nice and helpful although he does have the ability to get annoyed or even mad, but he normally doesn’t really show it and is immediately calm in short few moments. 

• He’s a genuinely nice guy, great to talk to and a great listener 

(Facts about the ship kids)

| Both Audrina and Pallete are made of magic. They are not born the traditional way. 

Pallete was made when Dream and Ink accidentally fused their magic together. Audrina was made when Dream and Swap intentionally fused their magic together. 

Audrina is a great warrior just like his father. She is also very kind like her other father. 

• She mostly looks like Swap 

Palette is a great artist and musician. He is very calm and friendly.

• He looks like Dream with Ink’s eyes. 
• Just like Ink’s his eyes will also change depending on his emotions. 
• He’s a very good guitar and violin player
• He also has a major crush on Goth

| Error - otherwise known as Eugene - was a prodigy in making. He had interests in becoming the Royal scientist of his alternative universe. He also nearly succeeded before what happened in “ Aftertale” also happened in his alternate universe. 

• There are several differences, but the events are nearly the same. Perhaps the amount of resets that happened before Eugene broke isn’t even half of Guenevere’s experience but it is still a lot for a young teen. 
• During the first hundreds, he had met Geno (FATE), they had talked and with riddles did Geno (FATE) warn him of his upcoming Fate. 
• He never understood as clearly as Geno (FATE) wanted to, but he did understand to some extent. 
• Eventually Eugene made the same mistake that Guenevere did and drank a jug of DETERMINATION (DT) LIQUID from his mentor’s lab. 
• Instead of being trapped in a Void like Guenevere had, he instead got trapped in a different kind of Void. 
• The Void was white and noisy.
• He spent a very long time there, until eventually he got himself corrupted and beyond recognition of himself. 

The newly named Error had met FATE ( Geno) there as well, only once and that meeting had left him confused and had an existential crisis. 

• He was confused because he was sure he was the only living thing in the Void. Which, he was of course, was correct. He was the only one alive there but that doesn’t apply to the outside as well. 

• FATE (Geno) just like what she did in the past, warned him of his upcoming Fate. 

• This time, Error understood clearly after much thought. 

• Error was very much unhinged back then, but with proper care and consideration from and with Nightmare he became more sane. 

Facts about — Error

| Error also is aware of his counterpart's existence, although they have never met before, he’s not evil either. No one is, everyone is morally gray in this multiverse. 

Error at first did not remember Nightmare but eventually some memories resurfaced and he did like Nightmare before and after the memories. 

• He felt as if he could have a friend, they ended up being friends as well until they got together 
• They started talking, hard at first as both of them aren’t as great at emotions and bad with socializing, but they managed—they started talking, re-learning about each other and soon fell in love, started dating and got married.

Error doesn’t like touch, in fact he hates it. In the Anti-Void , Error had felt as if everyone was grabbing him, screaming and throwing at him. And so he never liked loud noises nor did he like being touched.

• Quiet also does unnerve him, all he ever knew was the loudness of the Anti-Void, that was why even when he was free he never left. 
• Because Error never liked being touched, his relationship with Nightmare depended on words and actions alone. 
• They never minded and actually felt that they had a stronger bond that way. They trusted each other a lot and felt comfortable with one another despite not being near each other for even a foot. 

As mentioned, Nightmare had met Geno ( Eugene ) before the Apple Incident, during that time they were actually very good friends. 

• It was FATE (Geno) who taught Geno (Eugene) how to travel to different universes. 
• The two did like each other romantically before but they never had a relationship aside from a friendship because they were both young and inexperienced. 

When Nightmare met Error again, he hadn’t met the Murder Time Trio yet. 

• When he did meet them and settled down into a calm domestic life, he wanted to introduce them to Error but Error didn’t feel comfortable with the idea yet so they didn’t. 
• They thought they had a lot of time but unfortunately, they didn’t. 

Error ’s personality is a lot like canon, he can be childish but also really calm and affectionate in his own ways. 

• He loves knitting, it’s a very calming activity for him
• He also loves cooking when given the chance 
• He loves undernovela of course, he even introduced Nightmare to it. 

• Nightmare taught him proper Spanish, since Error only learned from what he’s watching. 

The Three Disasters

| Nightmare first met his youngest daughter , while he did know he’d be meeting three people that he will end up seeing as his children, he never knew the dates. His mother ( FATE - Geno -) never told him, so he was surprised to stumble upon her in her deserted alternate universe. 

• Murder’s alternate universe at the time was a wreck. There was dust and blood everywhere, the human nowhere to be found and Murder staring blankly on the table, inside a bar where Nightmare found her. 

• Murder at first thought he was nothing but a figment of her imagination so she paid him no mind. 

• Murder was also mentally unstable, unhinged and schizophrenic. She wasn’t aware of her surroundings anymore, just there. Existing with no thought.

• She didn’t even notice when Nightmare tugged her with him into a portal. Nor did she notice the blanket on her shoulders in front of the fireplace.
• It took Nightmare weeks to make Murder aware of her surroundings. He fed her during that time, and made sure she got sleep. 
• When Murder did notice, she didn’t care. If anything she was just waiting until Nightmare eventually killed her. 

• Nightmare tried his best with talking with her, he talked about everything and anything.

• Nightmare was never the talkative type of person but he tried. He’s not just doing all of this because his mother said so. But because he wanted to. 

• It took years until eventually Murder wasn’t as mentally unstable as before. She wasn’t healed, she wasn’t cured but she was doing better. Of course she was still haunted by nightmares but it wasn’t as bad as before. 

• Murder had always been silent, not talking much, what happened just made her more silent. While she did get better, she still never liked talking.

• Nightmare never minded, but he did make her go to speech therapy. 

• To get her used to talking and to make sure she still speaks enough so she doesn’t damage her vocal cords. 
• In other words, Murder has selective mutism.

Nightmare met Killer , his second child next. Just like mentioned, Killer remembers the first timeline . Therefore he was very violent and distrustful of Nightmare and Murder .

• He would often try to kill both of them, sometimes nearly succeeding. He is often very cruel and aggressive to them, always shouting and pushing.
• There would be times Murder even cried to Nightmare about him. She was that uncomfortable and scared of him. 
• After several months of trying to talk to him, Nightmare finally managed to have a conversation with Killer. (It was far from amicable but it was the most that they talked that night)

• Killer doesn’t believe it, but he decided to observe for the next following months. 

• It took so long for Killer to even acknowledge that this Nightmare genuinely had good intentions.
• At first he thought it was an act, but when he did see them act genuinely happy and caring with each other he was tempted to hope. 
• But he was scared.
• It took another few weeks in contempt, when he decided to try and trust that things will end up alright. 
• It wasn’t easy nor did it take them a short time but they eventually got there.

• Killer during the first few months of trying was still aggressive but not to the extent of the first time.

• Killer was always waiting for the other shoe to drop. 

• He was also scared to lose this chance. 
• It wasn’t easy but they eventually got there. Killer took a long time before he eventually started trusting them and even caring for them despite having always hated their guts. 

Nightmare then met his oldest child lastly, unlike the previous two, Horror was the most peaceful one. While he did come with his own set of problems, he was the most trusting of them. 

• Of course, Horror was also wary but he did see that Nightmare seemed genuine. 
• Plus the other two’s warm welcome was enough for him. 
• While he did first think that he’s there as a worker rather than a family, he eventually did see that he was family. 
• When Nightmare gave him his gem. 
• When Killer and Murder acknowledged him as their brother.
• To say he cried that night would not be a lie.  

Facts about — Nightmare

| Nightmare knew that he’d be meeting people who he will have good and close relations with (courtesy of Geno ), but he didn’t know when nor did he know any details. 

• He wanted to be a parent to them, to treat them the same way FATE (Geno) had treated him. 
• He’d sometimes teach them some of the things FATE (Geno) used to teach him, and some stories of Geno too.

FATE ( Geno ) had introduced Goth to him as well, even becoming his uncle. 

• He had also met Sci and is on amicable terms with them. 

• Nightmare rarely met Goth when FATE (Geno) died but he did sometimes visit him and Goth did know that he was his uncle. 

• Goth hadn’t met Sci for a long time after FATE’s (Geno) death but he did eventually meet them again. 

Nightmare ’s eyes flick or change back to purple on rare occasions, like when he’s overly happy or any other nice emotion.

• Nightmare doesn’t really show strong emotions like when he’s overly happy, he’s just smiling unlike Dream who’s really hyper when happy. 
• (Nightmare won’t admit it but Murder’s his favorite child, and the two just pout in the corner knowing this.)

Nightmare is not aware of the first timeline. 

Nightmare actually had a romantic relationship before he met Error again. And it was with Huali - otherwise known as Ccino -. 

• He had the intention of marrying her, unfortunately she had committed suicide. 

• Nightmare had already proposed before she died. 

• Huali (Ccino) was getting better, her depression had been getting better but a person from her past made all progress crumble to dust and she couldn’t take it anymore and took her own life. 

The original timeline Nightmare and the current timeline Nightmare are not the same person. 

• Original timeline, otherwise known as the parasite Nightmare is a parasite, the ghost manifestation of a vengeful creature.
• Current timeline, otherwise known as passive Nightmare is the real Nightmare. 

Facts about — Murder

| Murder has schizophrenia and selective mutism. And while she didn’t care and waited for Nightmare to kill her, she had indeed been scared of being near him when they started talking.

• She was afraid that she might end up killing him as well. And she didn’t want that, not when he was being kind. The first one in a while. 

She used to have Donghyun ’s — 동현 ( Papyrus) scarf around her neck all the time, but she eventually got used to keeping it on her room instead of being obsessed about it being on her arms reach. 

She can see ghosts but she believes that it’s a part of her schizophrenia.

She likes Fell a lot. She met her at a festival, and started meeting up since, until eventually they started dating. 

• She had the intention of marrying her and Fell the same but they never got the chance to. 
• Murder’s favorite color is actually orange and yellow, she says it reminds her of the sun, like sunrise and sunsets 

Murder felt uneasy with Killer at first. In fact, she hated him. She hated him and wanted him gone because of Killer ’s behavior, she hated him more when he tried killing her dad. 

• Which led to this weird rivalry that they had, it eventually died down in a few years but it never fully died, it’s just more peaceful.
• (She doesn’t hate him anymore, just sometimes find them so annoying, but it’s sibling goals am I right?)

Facts about — Killer

| Killer did hate them at first. Never feeling at ease with them, being constantly reminded of his past experience . 

• He did notice very many differences that help them differentiate from each other.

Killer can sew, he is actually very great at it, and he finds it therapeutic. 

• He often makes them clothes
• Killer’s favorite color is coincidentally enough, purple. He says it reminds him of Arham (Toriel) and his boss - the current timeline Nightmare - (he also says that he sometimes sees Nightmare’s eye flick back to purple for a few moments) 

Killer didn’t like Murder at first. Actually maybe that is an understatement. He hated her in the past alternate timeline and in this timeline as well. Killer did everything that they knew pisses Murder off. As stated, they eventually got it fixed, and they started to have a bond, although the rivalry will always be there. Just this time it’s more peaceful.

Facts about — Horror

| Horror had an eating disorder at first, but it soon got sorted out, although there would be times where he’d retort to old habits. 

Horror has poor eyesight and oftentimes uses glasses when he’s at home, when he’s away he opts to wear eye contacts. 

Horror is a very skilled writer and poet. He often writes stories and poems that he shows to his family. 

• He had successfully published a book that was actually popular. 

• His favorite color is green, he says it reminds him of nature and vegetables, also says that it reminds him of the jacket his boss gave when they first met. 

• Horror is in a queer-platonic relationship with Farmer

Horror didn’t have any problems with anyone, in fact he got along with them incredibly fast that it was actually questionable.

Facts about — The Gang

They see each other as family, while it did take years before they got to that point, they were happy in the end. 

They don’t know Dream and Nightmare are related but they do know some details of their history (The corruption and the torment, and how Dream and Nightmare came from the same Au.) 

• They also didn’t know of Geno’s existence, well aside from Murder who can see ghosts, although it’s not like she believes that ghost (Geno) is real. 
• They know about FATE’s (Geno) existence, just not that she and their parent’s mother was the same person. 
• They have heard stories of a mother who used to love their parent a lot though, but that was about it. 

(Just for fun— If I were to refer to them as the soldier, poet, king song. Killer would be the soldier, Horror the poet, and Murder as the king.) 

They have matching necklaces, or more specifically gems. Nightmare had given them a gem that respectfully resembles their color, it was given as an act of love.

— Indicating that they are now a part of the family. They were given free reign on what to do about it. 

• Murder - the first one to ever be found by Nightmare and the first one to be given it - opted to make it into a torque-pendant like necklace. The gem’s color is a shade of purple that is bright but not too bright and not too dark either, a great choice of color that matches the wearer. 
• Killer - the second one - opted to make a similar choice as they made the gem into a charm-solitaire-like necklace. The color of the gem was neon red, matching its occupant. 
• Horror - the last one - did the same as he had made it done as a locket (added their family picture on one side and papyrus on the other). The color was a shade darker than ruby - resembling blood, unintentionally - matching the wearer’s eye. 

Nightmare also loved having portraits made, although it isn’t a lot and there are only a few of them with his children. But his mansion is filled with arts of different kinds, like those scenery arts, and those darker ones. He also added a few paintings that the three suggested (of course he did).

Characters

( Characterization )

This is their canon full names and given names and titles. I will also be stating their nationalities, if by chance you missed them. 

• Guenevere Gia. M. Siyuee

Guenevere is her birth name, Gia is shortened for Giovanna (from her father, Giovanni ), M. is her mother’s surname - Maffioletti -, Siyuee is her father’s surname. 

• Genocide S. Aeonian

Genocide is her given name, given to her by herself, Aeonian is her married name - taken from her husband through marriage - S. is Siyuee, her birth surname.

• Madamé Death and Madamé Wisdom

Madamé Death obtained by being DEATH ’s wife, Madamé Wisdom obtained with her occupation as FATE and her renowned wisdom.

• She is Italian by birth.

• Aubin Ludwig Aimé Aeonian

Aubin is his mortal name, meaning “White” or “Bright”, Ludwig originally Louis was a name given to him by old friends that he had decided to honor by keeping it, Aimé is his middle name or otherwise known as third name, meaning “Beloved”, Aeonian is his chosen surname. 

• Death S. Aeonian

Death is his real name and more of a title but everyone does refer to him as that. S. is his wife’s surname that he took as well. 

• Mister (of) Neutrality and Mister Wisdom

Mister (of) Neutrality was given to him by old comrades who had the pleasure of having DEATH as a friend. They took pride in how he was very wise and was impartial and fair in making decisions. Mister Wisdom is obtained by both being wise and being Madamé Wisdom’s husband.

• He is French by choice.

• Eugene Verrill Moreau 

Eugene is his birth name, Verrill meaning “Loyal” is his middle name, and Moreau is his surname. Moreau is a French surname despite Error being an Italian guy. (Reason for that is that Eugene ’s mom is French while his dad is Italian). 

• Error Verrill G. Luvioer

Error is also more of a title than a name but that’s the only name he could remember. In his one meeting with FATE ( Geno ), her farewell was — “Do heed my words, Eugene Verrill .” — Eugene was lost in his memory but he did remember the second one, and so he kept it. The G. is Nightmare ’s surname. 

• Master of Destruction and Destroyer 

That is very much self explanatory. Those are his titles by job and responsibility. It’s not even something he can be proud of because no one knows aside from those in the circle that his job is actually for a good cause. 

• He is French-Italian by birth.

• Nevada Rey Guqo

Nevada was the name given to him by GAIA ( Nim ), followed by Rey , Guqo is GAIA ’s mortal surname. 

• Nightmare Efiáltis S. Luvioer 

Nightmare is more like a title rather than a name, but then again no one had ever called him his birth name before. All his life he’d always been called Nightmare , Efiáltis was a name given to him by FATE ( Geno ) - sometimes FATE ( Geno ) would call him “My greatest efiáltis .”, S. is his mother ’s surname ( Siyuee ), Luvioer got from marriage (he never wanted to be associated to Dream and GAIA , he did let Error take Guqo as a name - because that is the last name of his that will be connected to his birthright that he figured would make it more special, despite not liking it).

• Guardian (of) Negativity and King (of) Negativity

Just like Error his titles are more of a reminder to his job and responsibilities. But he did appreciate having a title, it means he has a duty that his mother knows that he can do. 

• He is Spanish by birth.

•  Daniellè Mateo Guqo

Just like Nightmare , no one had ever used his name, instead calling him Daydream or Dream instead so he never really got used to being called any of his names. 

• Dream M. Guqo

He opted to be called by Dream instead of the full Daydream name, M. is from his husband’s surname, Guqo from his mother. 

• Guardian (of) Positivity and A gift 

His first title was never something he had a good memory of. It reminds him of his mistakes and his misfortunes. The title “A gift” had always brought him embarrassment, while he did appreciate the sentiment he never thought he ever deserved it. 

• He is Spanish by birth.

• Selim Olavi Mavi

He prefers being called his birth-name just in his alternate universe, he never liked his name being used outside his alternate universe. 

• Swap G. Mavi

Outside his alternate universe, he either prefers getting called Swap or Blue , it just depends on what between the two, G. is his husband’s surname. 

• The Greatest Warrior

That title had always been something he tried aiming for, and once he did, he had never felt so happy and satisfied. It’s a title he wore in pride and happiness. 

• He is Swedish by birth.

•  Kamil Coiyem 

He hated that name. It reminds him that it was FATE ( Geno) who chose that name for him. And so he never ever said that name to anyone. 

• Ink

No one knows anything else about his name. Just Ink.

• The Protector of AUs and Master (of) Creation

He is a very great artist, and has a very wild imagination, therefore everyone had started calling him Master of Creation, the other title also serves as a reminder for Ink about FATE (Geno) but he didn’t hate it. 

• He is French by choice.

• Jeong AYeong — 정아영

Murder ’s birth name is Jeong AYeong , Jeong is her family name (surname) while AYeong is her name. Only her birth and current family know of her name, her lover also knows. 

• Murder Cfrei

That is how she is known by people, Murder is also a name she prefers being called rather than her birth name. 

• She is Korean by birth.

•  Ali Amir

Killer ’s surname is unknown but that is what he claimed to have been his birth name.

• Killer Earahuavas

That is the name he claimed for himself in the first and second timeline. 

• He is Arabic by birth.

•  Klaus Curt Bauer

Horror ’s birth name is Klaus, he doesn’t mind when his family calls him that.

• Horror Seiar 

Is his chosen name. 

• He is German by birth.

•  Selma Viviana

Sci ’s birth name is never used outside of their universe. FATE ( Geno ) often uses it as that was the name Sci first said to introduce themself with and they were friends for years before they changed it. Sci never minded that FATE ( Geno) used their birth name. 

• Sqcei Fyaei

Is the name Sci had introduced themselves as in the council, therefore they are known as Sci by everyone aside from FATE ( Geno ) and DEATH .

• She is Hungarian-Italian

• Adelaide Felicia Albrecht

No one really knows of her birth name, Murder and Sci does know that Felicia is her name. 

• Fell Vhic 

Fell or Red is what she’s commonly referred to.

• She is German by birth. 

• Min Huali — 敏花丽

This is Ccino ’s birth name and the name she was often referred to. But people didn’t often pronounce it properly so she started introducing herself as Ccino . 

• Ccino Ńyeīncho

Was the name she was most known for.

• She is Chinese by birth.

Important Notes

| Everyone is morally gray. No one fully is evil, but no one is fully good either.

While Error is FATE ’s ( Geno ) subject , he is more or less a deathical being; meaning his realm is more tilting on DEATH ’s side rather than FATE ’s ( Geno).

• Gods are above Embodiments.

• Embodiments are above Subjects.

• Subjects work for Gods and Embodiments.

• Subjects are above alternative subjects.

• Otherwise known as the “Reapertale” Gods. 

It had been the Multiverse itself that resetted on its own during the Original timeline - 1.0 

• Because the Multiverse had already started rotting on its own, that it decided to save itself.

The Multiverse is semi-sentient, it cannot think nor feel, but it will do everything within its power to stay alive. 

Side notes 

Error had met FATE ( Geno ) before and after he was trapped in the anti-void. Eugene ( Geno-Error ) was a bit wary of her when he first met her. Error was disconcerted when he first met her because Error was convinced he was the only one alive (due to being stuck in a white void without ever seeing anyone like him).

FATE ( Geno ) used to genuinely like Ink but because of what happened she started to seriously hate him. 

• Ink hated her as well.

Guenevere ( Geno ) didn’t have the bloody slash before and after she got trapped in the Save Screen . And that is because Fabian ( Frisk) hadn’t been able to hit her with his knife or attack her before she killed him. 

• Guenevere (Geno) doesn’t know how but after she killed him, he hadn’t come back. 

• She thought it was because of the DETERMINATION LIQUID (DT) but then again, she had already killed him countless of times (evident on the pile of bodies behind her) in that reset with the DT but he hadn’t died. 
• And so, she didn’t know the cause of his death.
• She didn’t have the slash, but she did have the glitch because any type of Void corrupts the soul. 
• She just prefers having the glitch off but when she gets very upset, she may not look mad but her glitches does flare up when mad. But people often don’t notice it. 

Eugene ( Error) however, did have the slash. Because his human had managed to slash him before he fell - got trapped - in a copy of a save screen. 

Hidden lore / Easter eggs

DESTINY used to exist, only (both) FATE knew of its existence. And then, DESTINY just disappeared, gone. 

• Only (both) FATE knew what happened. 

• FATE (Geno) and Ink’s rivalry would resemble FATE and DESTINY’s rivalry a lot. 

• DESTINY is (the old) FATE’s subject. 

There was an original ending. A path more sinister if FATE ( Geno ) hadn’t intervened (or in other words, if FATE - Geno - didn’t bend her own rules just for the sake of ‘saving’ the multiverse—even if in reality FATE - Geno - just became too attached.)

• No rules were broken when FATE had done this. 
• She would never break her own rules and oaths. 
• Unless it’s for DEATH than she would willingly destroy her own rules for him. 

• Nightmare is like his canon self, but perhaps more cruel
• In the original ending, Nightmare and Corrupted Nightmare, are not the same person. “How come in the original ending, they’re not the same entity but in the current version, they are?”
• It’s because of FATE’s (Geno) interference. Nightmare grew fond of her and had an actual reason on why he’d fight to stay in conscious. Unlike the original ending, he didn’t have a reason to stay, afterall why stay and fight the parasite if you’ll only stay in pain?
• Even the murder time trio (Murder, Killer and Horror) was less sympathetic and just like mindless monsters who Nightmare feeds off negativity from.

• Killer from the current timeline/universe, remembers the first timeline, which would explain why he’d been so wary of Nightmare at first

• The first timeline/original ending already existed before FATE (Geno) intervened, the thing is, no one knew of its existence aside from FATE (Geno), Selma (Sci) and Killer. It existed cause you know how like, there’s multiple timelines from universes? It’s the same for the multiverse. 
• DEATH didn’t meet Dream in the original ending.

FATE ( Geno ) treated Selma ( Sci) like her sibling, and would tell them a lot of stuff (not everything but a lot), plus they do look alike so that’s that. 

• Selma (Sci) is declared genderless (pronouns are they/them but doesn’t mind anything—they like to call themselves Goth’s aunt though)
• They’re relationship started with Selma (Sci) asking FATE (Geno) to be friends with them, until several years later Selma (Sci) asked FATE (Geno) mentor them, as they’d want to be a successful and wonderful scientist like her, (FATE - Geno - did agree but she did say that Selma - Sci - was already amazing, they just needed the right person to guide them to succession). 

FATE ( Geno ) had told Nightmare that one day, he’ll have three children that he’ll love just as much as FATE ( Geno) loves him, that will stay with him at the end of the time, and that no one can separate them. (Although she didn’t mention how a cruel fate can still ruin them).

• Even if FATE (Geno) loves Nightmare, even if she’ll do anything for the kid, she can’t stop how Nightmare will die. (She just hopes that Nightmare won’t end up hating her for keeping his death a secret — Nightmare didn't.) 

Nightmare used to date Ccino , back when FATE ( Geno) was alive, he’d ask her for relationship advice, he’d loved her truly, and maybe he was still a bit confused on a lot of things relating to emotions, but he did know that what he felt was genuine love.

• Ccino had unfortunately killed herself two years after FATE’s (Geno) death.

Alphatale does not exist in this Multiverse, which is why I said “only two existing glitches” and that’s already Geno and Error .

• Underverse or Cross also doesn’t exist.

I had stated several months ago that it is canon that Nightmare had met two Geno ’s ( Eugene and Guenevere ), the one he loved and the one he saw as his mother.

• Nightmare had met past Error first, FATE (Geno) following after a few weeks.

The only (from the main ones anyway) existing romantic relationships in this multiverse is listed below. 

• FATE (Genocide) and DEATH (Married)
• Past Nightmare and Error (Requited crush/love)
• Past Ccino and Nightmare (Dating—engaged)
• Fell/Red and Murder (Dating)
• Error and Nightmare (Married)

FATE ( Geno ) had met Error when he was Geno ( Eugene ) and when he wasn’t. FATE ( Geno ) had been speaking with past Error ( Eugene ) on riddles about his future Fate which led the young lad to be confused every time they met up, it wasn’t a lot, only 3 to 5 times. 

• She met him again when he was Error, Error of course doesn’t remember although he did feel a strong sense of deja vu when they met. 
• She warned Error once again in riddles, this time Error understood despite taking a few years. They met as FATE (Geno) and Error only once.
• FATE (Geno) said that he’d meet his fated one, his one true love, but he must be prepared for when destiny ruins them. 

Error ’s soul was nearly destroyed beyond repair because of the damage done by the DETERMINATION (DT) LIQUID , FATE ( Geno ) would’ve had her soul shattered beyond repair as well if not for her occupation as an embodiment . 

• No one was supposed to be subjected to such pain that happened to them, because not only would it be extremely painful but it’s also against the nature of the Multivere. 

No one else knows about how Gods die beside their own circles. No one knows anything about Gods beyond what they let them know. 

• Geno being FATE was never supposed to be known until Ink decided to be vocal about it in a meeting that was the start of everyone turning their backs against her. 

• She was the most respected figure until that moment, and the most respected turned into the most hated.
• This is one of the instances where FATE (Geno) didn’t know something and she was horrified.

• DEATH was also a bit enraged in her wife’s case but he cannot do anything about it, nor did FATE (Geno) want him to. 

The End.

The end of the story.

| The beginning of the end of the story starts with how the story even started. With the Dreamtale Twins . 

• The story started with the twins. Everything is connected to the twins.
• And the story will end with the twins. 

There would be a war that would take place. A war that would end up killing hundreds if not thousands of people. 

• The twins were the ones to die first. 
• Everyone thought that Nightmare killed Dream because they had been arguing for weeks previously. 
• So with Dream’s death and Nightmare’s disappearance, everyone agreed that it had been Nightmare who killed Dream. 
• In reality, the two had started fighting - verbally - when they crossed each other in their alternate universe. 
• The verbal fight ended up turning physical until both fought to death.
• Before they died, they teleported away from each other. 

• Dream teleporting into the closest location he knew was safe - which turns out to be Sci’s lab.

• Nightmare teleported deep into the forest surrounding his palace. 

• They ended up dying minutes later. 

While everyone did agree that it was Nightmare who killed Dream, Sci was still accused of helping Nightmare.

• Everyone knew Sci was on good terms with Nightmare, and everyone also knew they were close friends with FATE (Geno). 
• Added to the fact that Sci had been acting suspicious lately.
• They decided to kill two birds with one stone. 
• Because Sci was a respected elder of the council, they gave them a fair trial.

• DEATH tried objecting that it is impossible for Sci to be guilty. No one listened to him and thought he was siding with them because of their relations.

• Thus the reason he was never given the right to vote or judge the situation despite him having the right to. 
• In the end, Sci lost the trial despite not having concrete evidence against them. 

• Sci was sentenced and sent away to an old desolate alternative universe that is the very definition of the world horrific. 

• They put a chain around their wrist that prevented them from using their powers and therefore they were forever trapped there.

• DEATH wasn’t allowed to help either, or else he would’ve been a public enemy. 

• No one had ever heard from them since.
• To be clear. That universe is truly so horrific that everyone would rather be tortured to death than sent there. 

It was unclear what started the war. Whether it started with the false accusations against Sci or with the Murder time trio ’s destructive behavior following the death of Dream (and unknown to them, Nightmare ’s) 

• For the trio, they were grieving and mad about their parent’s death.
• While they acted irrational, they didn’t have anything else to lose. 
• For the council and everyone else, it was the start of Nightmare’s tyranny despite the man himself being dead. 
• The trio caused destruction and catastrophe everywhere. They were blinded by their rage and despair. Until eventually they died. 

• Murder died in the arms of her lover. 

• Fell had stabbed both herself and Murder.

• Horror was killed by Swap, impaled by multiple spears and bones.

• Killer was captured and tortured until he died.

• They tortured him because they wanted to know Nightmare’s whereabouts.

• Killer never spoke a word about his parent’s death. 

The Black, Grey and White  

(Black , Grey and White)

| The creation of the three Gods had always been a mystery. Some say they were made by the first God, some say they just appeared out of nowhere. 

• In truth, it had been the world itself who made them. 
• Their purpose was to bring Balance. 
• Peace. 

Black

Otherwise known as DEATH , is the eldest of the three. The God of Death, the strongest amongst the trio and the nicest of them. 

• DEATH had been the first one to be created, he is as well the most respected. Both FATE and GAIA respect and adore him. 

White

Known to be the first and original FATE , is the second oldest. The wisest and the strictest of the three.

• FATE and DEATH had always been closer to each other than GAIA. 

• Something GAIA loathed (she also hated the fact that even the new FATE was closer to DEATH than her)

Grey

Known as GAIA or Nim , the youngest and the most beloved of the trio. 

• GAIA hated all incarnations of FATE (Genocide and the original FATE)

| The final chapter of this story. The end of Timeline 1.0 had been the new FATE ’s - GOTH - doing. FATE ( Goth) had spent countless years trying to do a reset, a multiversal reset so that everyone who had died unfairly (mostly his mother, once he’d learnt of the truth) to have another chance with life. 

• Due to this, he had broken the rules that were made by his own mother and father to protect the Multiverse. 
• In breaking the rules, comes the consequences of the Multiverse breaking on its own. 
• These are, of course, the reasons for why FATE (first and second) and DEATH had always enforced such rules. 
• Because of the consequences of FATE’s (Goth) actions, everyone and everything had ceased to exist. 
• What FATE (Goth) did had been so dire that the Multiverse had exhausted its every means - magic - and had only managed to save one universe.
• The original.
• Despite the original universe surviving, no one had stayed alive. It’s as if the achievements of every living being had crumbled down to ashes and had to be rebuilt with longer time and with no guidance.
• No one and nothing survived. Achievements had to be remade. 

Once the new timeline - 2.0, have now achieved what is similar to the modern world. That is where the previous Gods, Holders, and Protectors made their re-appearance. 

• But this time with no magic, painfully mortal and no memory of their previous lives. 
• A world where people who used to be enemies to now friends, to friends to enemies. 
• A new beginning. 
• Hopefully the last one. 

Due to the entirety of the Multiverse and the World being wiped out, there are no such histories about what happened in the past two timelines.
